We met the loveliest host standing outside the front of this Osteria and decided to return for dinner . What an excellent decision that was . This is a welcoming Osteria and is run by gentle & kind people . We had the onion fritters, potato cakes with Nduja hearts , sword fish & tuna with pistachio crust . All cooked to perfection and accompanied by a dangerously, palatable local rose .The Osteria is located in an atmospheric ,historic building.. It is reasonably priced and a hidden gem . Highly recommended for a memorable experience.

The tavern is located in a unique location, a noble palace with an intimate and suggestive atmosphere. Courteous staff, with whom we gladly exchanged a few words, collecting useful advice for our stay. Traditional food of excellent quality, very tasty, which highlights great attention in the choice of raw materials and their preparation.

Amazing restaurant! We've ate onion soup and parmigiana for first course, both dishes were delicious. For main course we chose tuna steak, one with pistachio crust and one with onion. Both were very good but pistachio one was better :) really nice place with good waiters. Some waiting time for the food.

This restaurant was recommended to us and I must say it was worth it. Experience in a very soft and noble ambience by candlelight with beautiful music inside the entrance hall of an ancient building. My parents were very happy. We were served by a very kind and expert waiter, who entertained us with nice conversations and took a beautiful photo of us. Fantastic food, also for the aesthetics of the dishes. Ravioli with pistachio recommended. Must try!

We ordered onion fritters and marinated anchovies as starters. The fritters, very floury and with few onions, had no flavor. The anchovies must have come from a commercial can (they were curiously all the same size and quite soft). Then, we each had a pasta dish: one with octopus and clams and one with seafood. There were no clams in my dish, which I found bland. My husband's was even blander, and his seafood seemed to be frozen.
The carafe of local wine was supposed to be 0.5 liters. It was likely less than 0.4 liters.
Thankfully, the server was very friendly and the setting charming.

¡Qué hermoso restaurante! Muy romántico , cena a la luz de las velas en un precioso palazzo .
¡Teníamos calamares y gambas, ensalada tropea y raviolis de mero! El vino local de Calabria era muy bueno y a un precio razonable. Nuestro camarero era muy amable y atento. Tuvimos una velada tan encantadora que volvimos de nuevo y tuvimos exactamente la misma comida! El ravioli mero es una necesidad!

Qué encantador hallazgo en las calles secundarias de Tropea, el personal todo atento y servicial. Explicó la comida tradicional local y formuló recomendaciones. La comida era deliciosa y nada era demasiado problema. El vino local es delicioso y a muy buen precio.
