Osteria Antico Androne In Tropea

We were recommended this restaurant in the historic center of Tropea. Perfect for those who like to escape the hustle and bustle of the town. It's located in the entrance hall of an old building and is a very welcoming, quiet, and charming place. We arrived around 10:00 PM and within an hour we had finished our meal. The service was super fast, and the staff were always available, friendly, and always smiling. As for the food, what can I say... excellent. The typical local onion fritters are highly recommended. Overall, everything was very good and tasty. We thank all the wait staff and the owner Giancarlo for his excellent and pleasant hospitality. We had a wonderful time, thank you again! The atmosphere was relaxing, the food was excellent, with typical dishes, and the service was impeccable. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and they gave us tips on recipes and where to buy products to take home.

On our last trip, we happened upon Tropea in the early evening. We urgently needed a place to have dinner. After a quick search, this restaurant came up. No sooner said than done: I booked via WhatsApp and received an immediate response. Upon arriving, we found ourselves in a wonderful entrance hall converted into a restaurant, where we were welcomed and seated. We savored the traditional dishes, accompanied by gentle lounge music and a few curiosities about what we were consuming. We left feeling full (very full) and happy (very happy). Everything was excellent in quality and more than satisfactory in quantity. The price was more than fair, and the staff was quick and organized.

Very characteristic location, very beautiful, located in a small alley, very good food with great quality and quantity, excellent wine, very efficient service, they made us feel at home.
