Delicious food, from appetizers to desserts to homemade liqueurs! Reasonable prices, impeccable service, and a country-chic atmosphere. It's a shame I discovered it on the last day of my stay because I would have returned every night.

Brought here by a friend, this place is truly beautiful and welcoming, with friendly, prompt, and attentive service, and above all, traditional Calabrian dishes made with high-quality local ingredients. A truly wonderful experience! Excellent and highly recommended!

The food is incredible, fantastic quality for the price; we liked it so much we went back. They're the same people who run Borgo San Cosmo, and the service is outstanding.

Typical Calabrian trattoria. Excellent appetizers. Good first courses...I recommend the pasta "Cala" alla Franco (spicy)...the arrosticini are good...fast and courteous service. Good value.

If you've become addicted to fileja pasta, I'd say Franco is the king in Tropea: highly recommended, swordfish and eggplant. The atmosphere is completely renovated, the service is fast and impeccable, and the prices are fair.

We ate at the restaurant twice within a week and were delighted each time. The handmade filet mignon is highly recommended. The antipasti were also delicious. The portions were very generous, and we had to share to try a variety of dishes. Despite our party of 80 people, the service was very attentive and friendly. We will definitely be back.

01/06/2026: Since 2022, we've been coming to Trope regularly, and Pinturicchio is a must-visit. You receive a warm Italian welcome; the locals seem to enjoy being guests, and the food is consistently good… our children have always been welcome and happy.
31/05/2026: Dinner for two, the most beautiful location we've seen in Tropea. Exceptional raw seafood and pasta. Impeccable staff, our compliments to Salvatore! An absolute must-see.

17/05/2026: A wonderful experience at this Italian restaurant 🇮🇹 The food was delicious, the atmosphere warm, and the service excellent. A big thank you to Cristiana for her warm welcome, kindness, and professionalism. She made our day even more enjoyable with her excellent service and smile. I highly recommend this restaurant.
24/04/2026: We returned with my family because we had an excellent culinary experience, and they never disappoint. A must-visit very close to the Sanctuary of Natuzza Evolo. Everything was delicious. The owner, a welcoming and very kind gentleman, is one of the few who still manages to preserve typical Calabrian dishes and traditions. The appetizer was plentiful, and the homemade fileja was truly spectacular. The appetizer and main course were accompanied by plenty of wine and bread, all excellent ingredients, and the price was fair at less than €30 per person. We'll be returning often.
