We ate here while visiting Gerace, and had a wonderful time. The food was excellent, and we were served by a wonderful woman who made us feel at home and pampered. Highly recommended.

We went to Ristorante A Squella in Gerace, planning on eating fish, but alas, fish wasn't on the menu. The place was inviting, so much so that we decided to order it anyway. The homemade antipasto was delicious, full of homemade products that immediately won us over. And then, the pasta... The "Pasta Casereccia A-Squella" was truly sublime! We immediately identified the sausage, 'nduja, and scamorza, but there were other secret ingredients we couldn't discover. Everything was expertly measured, creating a unique and authentic flavor, typical of Calabria. Ristorante A Squella in Gerace RC Guys, it's worth the trip.

Ate here for lunch while visiting Gerace. Rustic restaurant with exquisite food, especially the Homemade A' Squella Pasta. Staff was also very hospitable. I would recommend dining at A' Squella for those visiting Gerace.

Strategic location, excellent food, and very friendly staff. They seated us at 12 even though the kitchen opened at 12:30. Prices were reasonable for the area and the amount consumed.

Excellent restaurant serving quality local dishes, good wines, and a warm welcome. The location is picturesque, overlooking the northern valley and the cliff on which Gerace stands. Highly recommended; always reserve an outdoor table during the summer.

29/03/2026: Agriturismo Petru i Ntoni in Bova is a charming place! Situated in a strategic location, it offers breathtaking views of the valley and the sea. The cuisine is traditional Calabrian, with hearty and tasty dishes, such as the house antipasto, pasta with mushrooms. The owners are very welcoming and helpful, and the service is fast and friendly. The atmosphere is rustic and relaxing, perfect for a romantic getaway or dinner with friends.
01/03/2026: The food was simply superb and plentiful. The appetizer alone would have been enough to fill us up. And all of this for a very good price. The atmosphere was fantastic and the music was amazing. We almost started dancing on the tables. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely come back.

18/04/2026: As soon as we arrived in Reggio, we came to this restaurant without a reservation, based on a local recommendation, and luckily we found a table. The space isn't particularly large, with a simply and tastefully furnished outdoor terrace... the staff are friendly and helpful (which is a plus for this restaurant). The menu focuses exclusively on regional cuisine, with dishes that will reconcile you with your taste buds... unfortunately, due to personal reasons, we weren't able to eat everything the restaurant offered, so we had to limit ourselves to two first courses and a second course to share... VERY SATISFIED!!!!
16/04/2026: This restaurant was a lovely surprise during our stay in the city. The waitress was super nice and helped us choosing the best deal for us (a menu with appetizers, main dish, drinks and dessert included). The food was amazing! A lot of different things to try out and cooked with quality ingredients. Definitely recommend this place for typical Calabrian cuisine :)
