You'll find the best cuisine in the area here at Manu and Franco! Authentic, quality products, fast, friendly service... if you're in the area, this is a must-try! For true spicy food lovers, I highly recommend their pasta, called "a squella."

A restaurant serving homemade Calabrian food in a lovely, rustic, and very welcoming setting. Everything was spotless, and the service was quick and attentive. We ordered two pasta dishes: the pasta casereccia ai funghi porcini, which was delicious! We wanted to try the paccheri alla pistacchiosa, but they were out, so we ordered the stroncatura alla San Giovannino, which we didn't particularly enjoy, unfortunately. They were very kind; we only ordered one dessert to share, which was also delicious and homemade—fig jam—and they brought us a complimentary shot of almond liqueur and some dried pastries. We highly recommend it.

Excellent location for exploring Gerace; the little train that takes visitors up from the parking lot stops right in front.
Excellent lunch, friendly staff. At the end of the meal, they offer a glass of almond wine with cantuccini biscuits.

A very simply furnished restaurant with excellent cuisine at more than reasonable prices. Superb appetizers and fantastic pasta dishes. I would definitely eat here again!

Excellent food, generous portions. Homemade pasta and desserts. Super kind and friendly staff. Small but meticulously crafted, the place is decorated with flowers in the bathrooms and on the windowsills, and accessories that match the ambiance. Very fair prices!! We'll be back to try the rest!!
