I suggest he take a course in good manners. I heard everything he whispered; he's not kidding me, and I wasn't born yesterday. Instead of apologizing to the customer, he showed his true colors, even to the man at the cash register, the owner, who, unlike him, apologized for the significant delay in my order. I have a large following on Google, so I don't recommend the place due to the poor service, due solely to that very rude young man who undoubtedly still has a long way to go. The rest of the staff is friendly. I'm sorry I can't rate the pizzas because they never arrived: with a reserved table, I sat down at 9:25 PM and left at 11 PM. A shame, really. _______ I'm replying to your last comment below: It's certainly not my job to teach manners to that boy, a complete stranger to me, nor is it the owner's job, but I honestly expected a more objective comment from you, one that didn't justify that person's rudeness. The very fact that you write about teaching good manners to a boy only confirms what I'm saying. But then they complain about the poor entrepreneurial spirit of some businesses in Potenza! But what reason would I have to say one thing for another? If certain people don't know how to argue but only whisper behind their backs, that's not my problem. I say things to their faces, because I know I'm right when I offer constructive criticism for the good of the business and especially the owner. Do you remember the tone the boy had with me at the cash register, especially with you there, constantly apologizing? The other people turned around too. By the way, mine isn't the only negative review about your restaurant's service and the slowness of the kitchen. I encourage you to read them all. And reread the positive comments I had about you and the other staff. What a disappointment! Why would you apologize if you wrote such things to me? Do you even realize it? Who's disparaging whom? 12/07/2025: Staff I've known for generations but have been away for many years due to work and distance. Today, for my daughter's birthday, I brought them. They were kind, courteous, excellent prices, and the dishes were fabulous, as tradition dictates. The tripe with red onions was the best, the strascinati with turnip tops, cod, and crusco peppers were out of this world. The cod and chicken First Stock was divine. The wine and local limoncello were excellent. It's a shame about the grappa, someone changed their minds. That's fine. The parents up there, who knew dear Tuccio in particular, can be satisfied that they left their nets in the hands of good guys. See you next time.

24/06/2025: Arrived with no reservation. Asked if it was possible to the steak and potatoes senza glutine...gluten free. The lovely ladybehind the counter went to ask the ragazzi in the kitchen and returned with a definite yes. I was brought 3 steaks to choose between, and it was returned later cooked to absolute perfection, beautifully tender and extremely tasty. They also do a mean pina colada and aperol spritz and my husband was most impressed with the birra rossa ala spina.
