08/05/2024: We had the opportunity to frequent the Cocal restaurant for lunch and dinner for about 10 days, as we were in Spinoso for work. A beautiful place, Giuliana and Giacinto are very hospitable people, Giuliana as well as a chef with her attention, her smile and her cooking made us feel at home. 08/08/2024: A small restaurant that offers many typical local dishes, all really excellent! The restaurant is made up of an internal and an external part, our table overlooked a truly beautiful and evocative view of Castelmezzano, we ordered several dishes including the crusco pepper, very good! The owners are really kind people, they offer a very attentive service. I highly recommend it, especially if you are looking for excellent typical dishes.

23/07/2024: Truly postcard location. Property managed by guys with little experience and attention in the sector but willing and friendly. Decent food quality and expensive for the type of dishes. Pub. Excellent local desserts.

04/08/2024: We came to this restaurant through word of mouth from a friend. The climate is familiar, the cuisine is homemade and reflects the products available in the area. The quality/price ratio is absolutely unbeatable, I think there is no place in Italy that can compete with this. The service was quite fast even though the room was full. We took 1 starter, 4 first courses, 1 second course, 3 cheeses, 5 desserts, 3 coffees and we paid only 60 euros. Don't ask me how it's possible but it's all true. I particularly appreciated the fried calamari, very good and well fried. Among the desserts, our favorite is the Ricotta and Pear cake. Highly recommended and congratulations to the owner for the place!!!

04/08/2024: It is the second year that when going by car to Sicily from Rome we have stopped in Lagonegro at this delightful inn which offers very good food at old-fashioned prices! Even the spotlessly clean rooms have all the necessary comforts. Mr. Federico is an excellent, friendly and professional host. So I highly recommend coming and experiencing Federico's cuisine and hospitality. You will be pleasantly satisfied

29/07/2024: In a strategic position at the crossroads between Maratea and Cersuta, between Fiumicello and the port/Maratea Centro we find this bar which is very convenient for those passing through. It also has a beautiful, well-kept outdoor space where you can sit. The service is slow. I honestly have to complain about the quality of the brioches: you can see that they are frozen but above all, unfortunately, I found them raw enough to make me feel bad. They have potential that could be better exploited. Prices are normal

11/06/2024: We came to see the castle and the attractions of Melfi. We found this place on the Internet. The interior is very nice, quiet and the service friendly. A large number of varieties of pizza.For the first time in Italy I saw pizza with pineapple, strawberries and kiwi on the menu. The pizza is delicious.

10/08/2024: Siamo stati in questo magnifico posto ed abbiamo mangiato dall' antipasto al dolce, tutto estremamente buono, complimenti davvero per il cibo di ottima qualità!! Il personale è molto cordiale e professionale. Abbiamo cenato sul terrazzo dove l’atmosfera è davvera magica. Consigliatissimo

04/06/2024: Very nice restaurant, simple but nice. “The cave” is also very nice, i.e. the original habitation of the rooms embedded in the masonry... just as the name suggests: old cave, very appropriate. I just didn't find the paper tablecloths that nice. The food was very good, the portions were very generous. You can tell that it is a family business run with the heart. All the employees were very friendly. The old cave is usually only open for dining on Fridays and WE. But it's definitely worth eating there. You can also order food to take away, everything is freshly prepared, so it makes sense to order in advance. You shouldn't expect a 5 course menu, but that's ok. In return you get a great pizza, delicious starters and great "little things". Conclusion: Highly recommended
