We tried some very good croissants, but the most spectacular were the sporcamuss', warm and full of cream. Delicious! Recommended.

We've been frequenting this bar every morning for years, and it's always a surefire hit! The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff are friendly and attentive, the coffee is excellent, and the croissants are always fresh. It's become a go-to place for a great start to the day. 05/06/2026: Yummy pizzas and they had a pizza to suit my spice requirements 😋 Also the pizzas are extremely well priced for such a tourist spot. If you want a good pizza when in Matera, absolutely try this place.

03/05/2026: In the heart of the Sassi, a very cute and clean little terrace. Very good traditional cuisine and friendly, attentive staff. I recommend it. They open at 12:00!!
03/05/2026: This restaurant was discovered by chance while visiting the city. Good, authentic food. The orecchiette with turnip greens were delicious and rich. Clean place, attentive staff, and a very friendly owner. Recommended.
