09/09/2025: Quiet, well-managed place, very kind and knowledgeable staff, the food is truly delicious!!! I absolutely recommend it!

14/08/2025: We came with great enthusiasm, especially considering the daily menu, which included an appetizer and a pizza slice, including a drink. In fact, it was only one slice of pizza, meaning one pizza for every four people, so there was no pizza slice—truly misleading advertising. The appetizer wasn't appreciated either, it was miserable. That too, and in the end, we left the table hungry and disappointed. Not to mention the wait. We arrived at 8:30 PM and received a slice of pizza at 11:30 PM. For us, the San Marzano cave adventure ends here. Highly not recommended.

31/07/2025: Esperienza unica, davvero eccellente. Un amico che vive a Bologna mi ha consigliato questo "posto magico" Cosa posso dire? Ho mangiato una carne (produzione propria) spettacolare, meglio di Firenze (sono amante della carne). Ottima carta dei vini e un ottimo Gin Tonic per concludere la serata. La padrona di casa e il suo staff vi accolgono in modo caloroso, davvero vi sentite a casa. Quindi, non manca proprio nulla, prodotti e staff da 10&lode. Lo consiglio vivamente a tutti!

23/08/2025: You make us ashamed of being from Matera, first of all, because it's true that Matera has become untouchable, and often unjustifiably so. Then it also makes us angry if we're the ones being ripped off. For two, we consume a small plate of carpaccio for €5, a microscopic platter of cured meats and cheeses for €10. So far, almost normal... But consuming a medium-sized rib-eye steak, because I didn't have the pleasure of seeing it being cut, of barely aged heifer, completely devoid of marbling, dry, €47... FORTY-SEVEN euros. Mineral water. Total €70. The next day I ate fish at a seaside restaurant in Puglia, a full meal for two for €75. Shame!!

05/08/2025: Very busy place — reservation is a must. The staff was excellent and service fast. The food is simple but good; the crab gnocchi were especially tasty. We shared both a starter and a main, yet the bill was similar to other places where we each had a full dish. Also, although the restaurant was supposed to offer a discount through our accommodation, it wasn't applied. I had clearly mentioned it both when booking and upon arrival, but the manager insisted I hadn't. Not a big deal, but a bit more flexibility would’ve been appreciated.

23/07/2025: Location antica, curata e carina. Personale gentilissimo. Piatti di pesce buonissimi e di qualità, prezzi ottimi. Consiglio la prenotazione in quanto c’è sempre parecchia gente.

07/12/2025: AWFUL EXPERIENCE. Today at 12:30, McDonald's was almost completely empty. I only counted two tables occupied, and we waited over 25 minutes for two menus. When my husband asks where the sandwiches were, an employee replies, "We'll bring them right away," while the manager (I think) steps in and asks in a rude and surly tone, "What's the problem?" When my husband replies, "I've been waiting 25 minutes for two menus, including children's menus," she replies, "25 minutes is impossible, that's not our time limit." At that point, my husband shows her the receipt with the time of payment and shows her his watch to show her the time. Her response, still in a rude and surly tone, is, "So?! Just wait and it'll come to you." From there, it ended in an argument because my husband then responded in kind, and the lady turned into a complete beast, starting to touch him, push him, provoke him in every way, and get face-to-face. CHOOSE YOUR STAFF CAREFULLY AND CAREFULLY, BECAUSE THE "LADY" INSIDE CLEARLY DOESN'T WANT TO WORK. This kind of behavior is unacceptable. We even went to the Carabinieri to report it; we'll see if she continues to behave like this towards the public.

06/12/2025: I was with my daughter at the Pv di San Giovanni la Punta i Portali... Excessively slow and poor service.... Even though there wasn't much of a rush at lunch, we waited a long time for table service... Despite the long wait times, they forgot an item... I sent my daughter to the counter and, leaving her waiting for at least ten minutes, stopped a girl who went between the tables explaining the situation... She went to the counter and handed over the nuggets which, by the way, were ready in a bag... After waiting, the food obviously got cold... Among other things, even the piadina that had just arrived was already cold... We often go to MC but the quality of this store needs a complete overhaul... Cold food and less than one-star service. We won't be returning.

09/07/2025: Partiamo dal locale con parecchi posti a sedere Personale di sala cortese ambiente bello con parecchia gente Tempi di attesa nella norma Pizze:avendo preso 3 gourmet il prezzo è un po’ alto 18 euro cad una la pizza ha un impasto soffice e’ più alta della solita ma più ristretta pertanto nel piatto sembra molto ridotta cosa buona sono gli ingredienti perché sono molto buoni e dí quantità infatti c’era più contenuto che pizza!!! Se dovessi tornare proverei anche l’altra con impasto tradizionale!!!

29/05/2025: Una cameriera ha rovesciato una birra su una cliente, invece che scusarsi si è messa a ridere. Noi commensali allibiti. Il proprietario indifferente anche dopo una nostra richiesta almeno di uno sconto (abbiamo mangiato 1 ora dopo a causa dell'incidente), con aria di sufficienza ha detto "sono cose che capitano" senza nemmeno offrirci un caffè. A lui l'educazione "non è capitata". Vergognoso. Anche noi non capiteremo mai più in quel locale!!!

17/11/2025: After a while I went back, but still nothing if I could. Yesterday, Sunday, November 16, the ribs arrived lukewarm, colder than hot, and even the fries, which, no, no, if I wanted to eat them lukewarm, I'd have stayed at my house. They were sent back and returned, at most, a little hotter. I say, having worked in this industry and unfortunately for them, since I'm sitting at a table facing the kitchen, the cooks can't prepare fries and ribs because they think everyone takes them, and leaving them on the counter hoping the first unlucky person will take them, I pay, I pay to have them hot. There were sandwiches that had been there for 10 minutes, I don't dare imagine how they got to that poor customer. Next time, if I'm back, as soon as the first cold forkful hits, I'll get up and leave.

25/11/2025: I celebrated my graduation here and was so happy! Erika and her staff were spectacular, everything was taken care of down to the smallest detail: the decor, the cake table, the food, the venue—everything was beautiful. I was very happy with the speaker, who kept us entertained the entire evening, and with Jessica, the photographer, who was impeccable throughout the evening, capturing every single moment and filling me with photos, just the way I like them😍 A week later, I'm still receiving compliments on the party! I would party here 100 times over, so happy with my choice!! (The only thing the guests complained about was the bartender, who they said was a bit grumpy.)

25/11/2025: When you're hungry on a Wednesday in November and want a late-night sandwich, here you'll find kindness, courtesy and excellent quality. I called them and imagine what they said: "We're waiting for you because they were closing." Excellent quality and price too. We'll be back. Well done guys, congratulations 👏

02/08/2025: I have to say that the fact that they only make sandwiches isn't a good starting point. This should imply that they're made well, but that's not the case. They're actually acceptable and no better than any other place with a wider selection. The service is poor and clearly poorly trained, the cover charge is excessive, the paper/cardboard tray is thin, and when you ask for cutlery, they only deliver chip forks that are a bit damaged, but I may have been unlucky in that regard. Furthermore, out of eight sandwiches, two arrived incorrectly, and one wasn't even fixed. The sandwich, however, was—at least mine—just what I asked for, and I was satisfied. But while the sandwich is good, it must be said that the quality/price ratio is still terrible.

13/12/2025: We entered the pizzeria at 12:00 AM and were greeted without any problems. Very kind and fast, the pizza and saltimbocca were truly delicious. Excellent!

20/07/2025: Ampi spazi anche all’aperto. Location piacevole. Menù con buona scelta sia come ristorante che pizzeria. Adatto anche a gruppi numerosi.
