15/07/2025: It's the most welcoming place I've ever visited! A great place for a quiet rest by the pool. The staff is very friendly. The food is delicious! Podere Violino is ideal for both families and groups of friends.

05/07/2025: Out of time. Or maybe, better said, a leap into the past. Briss briss lace curtains on the windows and dated furniture. Clean. Serious. Here time does not pass and it seems to have stopped in the mid 80s/early 90s. But the context does not matter much in a restaurant. Here if you take a crostini with lard you understand the difference. Here eat Tuscan. Two meatballs, crostini with livers, make two pici, maybe to share. And then the Florentine steak with the ancient method. Take these things. Tuscan things. And Tuscan wine. Baked potatoes. For being in Milan, not bad.

17/08/2025: We entered craving "impiccato" caciocavallo. Our arrival was preceded by a phone call from the manager of the Il Castello bar, who recommended that he repeat the "impiccato" caciocavallo he'd prepared for a previous festival. After receiving reassurances, we showed up at the tavern and asked for the agreed-upon dish. We were presented with a slice of grilled truffle caciocavallo, which anyone can make at home. The waitress, a charming but young and perhaps inexperienced woman, practically ignored our request. For the child, we asked for a baby pizza, which, instead of arriving before the other dishes, arrived last. If it hadn't been for my son, who went to get it from the pizza counter, we'd still be waiting. The ravioli with tomato sauce were good. Table service definitely needs updating.

15/08/2025: A DISSERVICE I've never seen before...if the facility isn't organized and capable of hosting so many people, I think they'll have to work every other day...VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!!! NEVER AGAIN.

08/06/2025: Last night we celebrated my children's birthday in this place and I must say that kindness, courtesy and quality of food were the masters! The children not only ate everything but together with their friends they had a lot of fun between the games room and the bowling alley! I highly recommend it to everyone! 20/08/2025: The Modica sandwich was good. Pasta alla trapanese was just cacio e pepe. Inedible because the pasta was overcooked. I ordered a beer, but it never arrived. I constructively brought this up at the cashier, and was rudely told that they don't gamble.

03/02/2025: È la seconda volta che mi trovo a recensire questo locale , dopo esserci stato per altre volte mi scendono trovato male ho deciso di riprovarci. Questa volta la disorganizzazione e i biblici tempi di attesta riscontrati nell’altra visita sono spariti, lasciando spazio a cibo di scarsa qualità che alla quasi totalità della tavolata ha causato un bel mal di stomaco e una notte in piedi! Bocciato definitivamente

23/12/2024: Oltre ad essere sempre un ottimo pub da visitare la sera, ci ha stupiti anche a pranzo con pietanze di pesce squisite:antipasti, primi, fritture:tutto veramente buonissimo e cucinato in maniera impeccabile...inoltre la gentilezza del personale e del proprietario Gigi non manca mai...da non sottovalutare poi, l'accessibilità dei prezzi. 11/08/2025: We waited 45 minutes for two pizzas and instead the beer arrived right at 7pm so it was really hot when the pizza arrived (finally) it was inedible it can't be described.... there's no way they'll see us again I'll start by saying that we didn't wait for the table (there was no one there at 7pm) but we paid for it after the wait I don't recommend it at all in the end I only paid for the jug of beer (after my various complaints) you don't work like that thanks

16/04/2025: Returning from Florence, at the Barberino del Mugello motorway exit, we find three adjacent restaurants. Some are literally crowded with people still waiting at 2pm. Since we have little time and are very tired, we decide to venture towards the one that least inspires us, namely "Da Imma". Externally it appears like a simple tobacconist's bar... Once inside we discover that on the lower floor there is a large room dedicated to catering. Although it is located in the basement, we are not closed within four walls. In fact, we find a large window through which external light filters and creates a particularly pleasant environment. The portions are more than generous. I took a fillet strictly requested rare but which was served to me at what I believe to be medium rare...

02/08/2025: Excellent place to eat top-quality products in a well-maintained and clean establishment. The service was very fast and friendly. The staff were fantastic, both in their welcome and service. Definitely worth trying again.

23/07/2025: We come to Martina to eat good meat, but unfortunately it was a terrible experience. The sliced meat smelled inedible, the same goes for the strips and the bombetta, never again.

03/08/2025: La penultima volta che abbiamo cenato in questa braceria c'è stato chiesto se conoscessimo una persona in foto con il nostro stesso cognome.Presumo che costui sia andato via senza pagare.Quando noi siamo passati dalla cassa per pagare il proprietario ha fatto una battuta spiacevole,li per lì non ci ho dato peso mi sono resa conto dopo del significato.non contenta della poca professionalità della prima volta ieri ci sono ritornata.Il servizio è stato estremamente lento,un'ora tra un piatto e l'altro in tutto ci sono arrivate solo 3 portate perché ovviamente eravamo seduti dalle 9 e 30,si era fatta quasi mezzanotte e l'appetito era passato.il conto è stato sproporzionato rispetto a quello che abbiamo consumato ieri sera ma anche le volte precedenti che siamo stati lì con altre persone. Mi sarei aspettata professionalità,invece ho trovato superficialità e ignoranza,non è accettabile avere questi atteggiamenti pregiudizievoli legati al cognome. Non mi resta che dire ....Materani!!! ANDATE A MANGIARE ALTROVE Se proprio volete passare da Laterza.

03/08/2025: The second to last time we dined at this steakhouse, we were asked if we knew a person in a photo with the same last name as us. I assume he left without paying. When we went to the register to pay, the owner made an unpleasant joke. I didn't think anything of it at the time, but I realized its meaning later. Not happy with the lack of professionalism the first time, I returned yesterday. The service was extremely slow, an hour between each course; we only got three courses in total because we'd obviously been seated since 9:30, it was almost midnight, and our appetites had faded. The bill was disproportionate to what we ate last night, but also the previous times we'd been there with other people. I expected professionalism, but instead I found superficiality and ignorance. It's unacceptable to have these prejudicial attitudes related to one's last name. All I can say is...Materani!!! GO EAT ELSEWHERE. If you really want to stop by Laterza.

20/07/2025: I definitely do not recommend this restaurant. My purse was stolen here. When resolving the issue, the staff acted like it didn't concern them.

20/07/2025: To those in Japan: I couldn't forget the bistecca I had in Florence, so I came to this bistecca restaurant for my last supper in Rome. The bistecca was just as delicious as the one in Florence. The staff were all lovely, too. Thank you bistecca. Thank you Italy.
