14/04/2026: Terrible Casoncelli overcooked and flavorless Mixed skewers too hard Two waitresses cleaning the room at 2:00 PM, still half full of guests shouting at each other, and at 2:00 PM at the bar. Let's just say there's little delicacy and finesse in this place... and the food is of poor quality. Best wishes!

14/04/2026: Open daily for lunch only. Business lunch Monday through Saturday (Sunday lunch à la carte). I'll finish my review, which I had to interrupt, by adding that among the business lunches I've tried elsewhere, this is my number one. Four first courses, four second courses, and as many side dishes to choose from, good food and fairly generous portions at a price, €13, in line with business lunches. Service is fairly quick. I've never been there on a Sunday, so I can't comment on the à la carte service, but if that's what I'm talking about... Recommended!!!

04/06/2026: A decidedly disappointing experience. I ordered a Bacon Swiss Classic, clearly specifying no salad. When I got home, I discovered that the sandwich had been prepared incorrectly: there was a slice of tomato, the bacon (the sandwich's main ingredient) was completely missing, and the requested cutlery had not been included. Furthermore, unlike other occasions, the ketchup and mayonnaise packets were missing. What makes the situation even more incomprehensible is that the order was picked up before 8:00 PM and the restaurant was practically empty, with no customers waiting or a particularly busy area that could justify such carelessness. Mistakes like this can happen, but when they affect multiple aspects of the same order, they give the impression of a lack of care in the preparation and final checks. Unfortunately, this experience fell far short of expectations and will make me reconsider before returning.

12/04/2026: Always a great experience! We returned last week for both the meat and the polenta, served in a variety of flavors. Lino and his staff are always welcoming and professional. We sat in the middle room, which offers a view of an impressive and varied wine list. Honestly, we would have preferred a bit of heating, since the grill room isn't the one with the grill, and the temperature is definitely cooler. We'll definitely be back! Braceria Scacciaventi is a lovely place where you can eat well and spend a pleasant time among a select clientele.

15/02/2026: We made a reservation, but upon arrival, we were asked to stand for over half an hour before being seated. We had specifically ordered a Red Krowa. However, we overheard the grill chef tell the waitress that it wasn't available and that only Prussiana or Phenomena were available. We weren't informed of the shortage, and we were nevertheless served a different meat without any prior notification. When we asked for clarification, a staff member initially stated that it was Red Krowa, while another later intervened, admitting that it was Phenomena because the Red Krowa was out of stock. Only then was clarity clarified. The price charged was, in fact, the same as the Phenomena. Furthermore, the meat served had a lot of sinew and was far from the quality expected from a grill restaurant of this caliber. The side dish also arrived different from what we ordered and was only replaced after we notified them. We understand that a product can run out, but the lack of communication and the contradictory information we received were not a sign of customer care. An overall disappointing experience.

19/04/2026: We ate on a Saturday night when the restaurant was particularly busy, which put the wait staff at a difficult time. Despite clearing tables, we still had to wait over 15 minutes to order after several requests. Regarding the menu, many of the dishes on the menu were unavailable during dinner hours (when it wasn't specifically stated). The same was true for some drinks, which, like the beers, weren't even listed on the menu. The quality of the food was certainly excellent (especially the meat), but the gnocchi with mushrooms and cherry tomatoes I chose overall didn't meet my expectations. The value for money wasn't the best, especially the cover charge (also not listed before payment) of €6 (for two people). Good experience, but I wouldn't return.

01/06/2026: The quality of the grilled meat was mediocre, the club sandwiches were dry and the bread was too thick, and the baked potatoes were made too long ago and reheated, which quickly went cold on the plate. I don't understand the decision to serve the sandwiches in the plastic baskets usually used for serving bread, especially since the paper on the bottom soaks up liquid, making it uncomfortable and truly unsightly. We asked for the burger to be rare, but it arrived overcooked and therefore dry. All the dishes were too fatty and greasy. Definitely a place I wouldn't recommend.

04/05/2026: I was truly impressed by the Oktoberfest! I found the quality-price ratio to be incredible: a delicious cut of meat for only 15 euros, truly hard to find anywhere else. The service was excellent, the staff was fast and helpful, and, unsurprisingly, we ate right away without much of a wait. A super positive experience, I'll definitely be back!

03/05/2026: Excessive price for the place and for the food eaten, supplement for the gluten-free first course of 2 euros and for the dessert 2.5 euros (never paid for desserts normally gluten-free in any restaurant I've been to)

08/04/2026: I returned to this restaurant after some time, and I must say it remains a firm favourite. The atmosphere is refined, the welcome is warm but never intrusive, and the cuisine focuses on substance. The dish that struck me most was the homemade wild boar pici: simply spectacular. The pasta was fresh, just the right amount of texture, and held the sauce perfectly. The wild boar ragù was rich, flavorful, and well-balanced—the kind that feels like it was made slowly and with respect for the ingredients. You can clearly sense the great attention to the quality of the ingredients and tradition, without unnecessary frills. The portions are just right and the flavors are authentic, something that is increasingly rare these days. I'd been there before, including for an important occasion, and returning today confirmed those excellent impressions. A place where you can truly eat well, without compromise. Recommended for those seeking authentic cuisine, done properly.
