31/08/2025: We chose this restaurant after reading a terrible review, which I personally would have responded to with great vehemence, and the owner's wise and completely agreeable response!!! We've never made a happier choice: the location, the courtesy of the staff, the friendliness and helpfulness of the owner, the quality of the food and the wine and beer selection, and, last but not least, the value for money. It's a typical restaurant not to be missed in L'Aquila.

25/08/2025: Ideal for a feast of arrosticini, goat, chicken, Angus beef, and liver, all very good. The restaurant also serves platters and bruschetta, which we haven't tried, but look interesting.

04/10/2025: Very good, and in my opinion, you can really taste the freshness of the food, especially the chicken. You can taste it, and it's very good. For appetizers, we had both the meat and chicken 🌮 (servings for two). The chicken ones are amazing, but the meat ones disappointed me a bit because I was hoping for more of the meat flavor than the "side dish," but they were good too. Main courses: - a chicken salad, tomato, salsa (I don't remember), lettuce(?), bacon - the 🍅 was very bland, it lost a lot of its flavor - a Dakota, a quiet but delicious classic burger Everything was really good, and the quality was good.

17/09/2025: The atmosphere takes you back to another era and other countries. Helpful staff. The food is good, although compared to some time ago, the portions are much smaller and the prices have gone up.

13/09/2025: Hi, I ate at this restaurant last night before going to the cinema. To be on the safe side, I made a reservation well in advance (for two people at 7:45 PM when the film was at 9:30 PM). We sat down and ordered around 8 PM, and our drinks and onion rings arrived after 10 minutes. Suddenly, nothing happened. We waited another 30 minutes for our sandwiches until we asked a waiter, who dismissed us with a snobbish expression, "Yes, yes, your order's on its way" (without even checking). Another 15 minutes passed, and we felt compelled to ask again where our two sandwiches were. The waiter, who had previously given us a cursory answer and wasn't the least bit concerned about our order, seeing us a bit impatient, immediately asked the head waiter, who came from the kitchen and said, "They're here, they're ready!" After another 10 minutes, so a total of an hour... the sandwiches arrived... ICE CREAM with equally cold fries and the sauce already solid... they'd definitely been there for a good 20 minutes by now... So we got up and left, hungry and feeling the need to go see the movie despite having had the foresight to sit at the restaurant table two hours beforehand... A complete disappointment and a disgrace for anyone who works in contact with the public. Because as a former kitchen chef, it can happen that you lose orders, but if two people ask you and you see everyone around them eating... you worry... you don't keep clearing the tables. (Obviously, the initial drink and onion rings were offered to us.) NOT RECOMMENDED.

28/09/2025: Fabulous Angus rib eye, Prussian beef rib eye too fatty...it weighed 700g but between bone and fat I must have eaten 350/400g...delicious side dishes and appetizers.

08/09/2025: Small, noisy place, tables almost packed together, making it difficult to get through even just to go to the bathroom. It's a small restaurant, but the atmosphere is cramped. The portions (cut of meat) are meager, and the sides are even more so.

04/10/2025: We loved this place! 😍 At first, we were hesitant to come here because we're sightseeing, and you always end up going for Italian food 🍕🍝, but we'd already eaten soooo much pasta, so we decided to change it up... and thank goodness we did! The atmosphere is great, with a decor that draws you in from the moment you walk in ✨. We ordered chicken, a burger, and a Caesar salad: the chicken was one of the best I've ever had, with a delicious spicy kick 🌶️🔥; the fries were super crispy 🍟; and the Aperol... simply perfect! 🍹 If you're in the area and want to get off the pizza and pasta circuit, this place is a must-stop. 👏

03/10/2025: Simply Old Wild West, a guarantee. Clean place, good food, friendly staff, all right in front of the Ostia Pier, so after a delicious meal, a stroll to admire the sea never hurts. Recommended.

14/09/2025: We arrived in Puglia yesterday and were hungry. Restaurants here naturally open later than in Germany. Calogero opens as early as 7:00 PM, and the reviews were very good. Absolutely right. We can recommend the restaurant without reservation. If you're looking for a sea view, you've obviously come to the wrong place. But the food is excellent. We had Scottish beef tagliata, grilled and fried vegetables, a pizza, wine, water, a sorbet, and espressos. All of the finest quality. The service was extremely attentive and friendly. Of course, there was also water for our dog. We will definitely visit the restaurant again. Many thanks to the whole team. Continued success. 01/09/2025: I spent a delightful evening with friends at this restaurant. The food was excellent, and above all, we were treated very courteously, attentively, and pleasantly by the tall, black-haired waiter.

06/10/2025: A fabulous Sunday lunch. The mixed crostini and flan were truly delicious, the fillet with porcini mushrooms and the stuffed chicken were top-notch, and the service was impeccable. Truly excellent. TOP wine, Coiano DOCG. We'll be back.

20/09/2025: The food is excellent, but although the waiter was friendly, we ordered an appetizer that arrived with the main courses, and an ice cream that was first forgotten and then took too long to arrive. Maybe they need more staff. Also, the drinks are quite expensive.
