02/11/2025: Typical restaurant serving Livorno cuisine. Nothing to criticize about the food, which is truly good. However, one thing to note is the table set like a pizzeria, with paper placemats and napkins. The restaurant prices are above average, and the downside is that there is no POS.

14/12/2025: We went there to try their caciucco but everything did not meet our expectations. The caciucco was salty and more than half of the edible things was squid. The portion size is not big enough to be categorised as a secondi. The tiramisu tasted like a sweet pudding sprinkled with cacao powder and house red wine tasted like vinegar. While we were waiting for the food, we read about the past achievements of the owner. Maybe they were good 30-40 years ago.

12/12/2025: Attentive and prompt service, a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The menu was extensive and inviting. We chose a warm seafood appetizer, tortelli with turbot and bottarga, the legendary cacciucco (fish stew), and for dessert, meringue pie and pear and brandy sorbet. Everything was delicious, the fish was well-cooked. As for the cacciucco, which was otherwise very tasty, we would perhaps have preferred more boneless fish alongside the mussels, octopus tentacles, squid, and a lovely crustacean.

09/11/2025: I felt discriminated against; it was a terrible experience. My partner and I went to the restaurant tonight at 8:00 pm, and there was only one other table occupied by a family of five who were just looking at the menu. We asked the woman in charge what time they closed, and she said 10:00 pm. Then she asked us what country we were from. We told her we were from Chile, and she said she thought they would close earlier. We asked if they would close around 9:00 pm, and she replied that it would be earlier. We said that was fine because we just wanted to have tea and some of the sweets she had in the display case. She said no, and then I asked her why, since if it was about time, we could have eaten before they closed. She simply said that she sold the sweets as dessert, in an obvious attempt to end the conversation and make it clear that she wouldn't serve us. It's disconcerting to encounter such rudeness these days.

17/11/2025: I stumbled upon it by chance, already fearing the worst (given its location right next to Piazza dei Miracoli), but it was a pleasant surprise. The assortment of antipasti is amazing, their version of peposo is delicious, and the apple dessert is a classic, incredibly good. But, to quote a saying from a TV show, their "plus" is the host: he explains each dish with expertise and enthusiasm. I'd like to see more like him. I like to know what I'm eating and where it comes from (since I love eating local). I'll keep it in mind in case I ever end up in Pisa again.

17/10/2025: Very tasty and reasonably priced. Easy to get to and easy to park. We loved this place and used it for breakfast during our stay in Livorno and hope to be back soon!

11/12/2025: I went there tonight with my family, four people + a newborn. They were very kind, even providing extra space for our stroller. Excellent quality food, low in salt and well-balanced.

08/12/2025: Second time coming to this fantastic and traditional Florentine Trattoria in the space of 10 days... the first time with friends while today I was with family! Delicious appetizers (tried the Tuscan crostini, the fried polenta with porcini mushrooms and the typical Tuscan Crostone with black cabbage and beans), abundant and homemade first courses (classic tagliatelle with ragù, the legendary pappardelle with wild boar) to finish with the fabulous Florentine steak (in 34 years of existence without a doubt the best dish I have ever eaten... simply LEGENDARY!) accompanied by baked potatoes and fried artichokes. Desserts were a must (Tiramisu, Panna Cotta and Torta della Nonna). EXCEPTIONAL quality/price ratio... A 10-star experience! Compliments to the staff! You are the Best Florentine Trattoria by far! 08/11/2025: A truly delightful breakfast! The counter, filled with croissants and pastries of all kinds, immediately puts you in a good mood. We chose to sit outside, bathed in beautiful autumn sunshine, which made the atmosphere even more pleasant. The staff is distinguished by their kindness and courtesy: the lady who served us was attentive and smiling, while the owner, helpful and friendly, enjoyed a heartfelt chat with us, making the experience even more welcoming and genuine. Everything was truly excellent, from the coffee to the desserts: my son loved the coffee cup-shaped pastries, made with chocolate, strawberry cream, and a fresh strawberry on top. A historic pastry shop where care, tradition, and quality are evident. We'll definitely be back!

26/11/2025: Found this restaurant by chance, what an amazing place. Atmosphere was sensational and the food was amazing the taste was to die for 👏. The Moroccan chef Kabira came out to talk to us and make sure everything was to our satisfaction and our waiter Hector made our dining experience super pleasant and memorable. Would highly recommend to dine here, whether for a causal lunch or a romantic evening.

26/11/2025: We ate well, and the service was excellent. But the surprise came with the bill. A €6 cover charge, something I'd never seen before, obviously on the menu sign outside the restaurant, not listed. A tourist trap.

02/10/2025: I found this pastry shop to be delicious and attractive. There's also an upstairs area for more private dining.
