We were greeted by the gentleman behind the counter and gave him our order with some items we either wanted to order didn’t want included. When my husband ordered, he suggested another, better choice. We received our stracciatiatella sandwiches and when we asked for prosciutto to be added, it was no problem. They were amazing!

One of the best schiacciaterie in Florence, without a doubt. The schiacciate are flavorful, plentiful, and made with quality ingredients. We absolutely recommend the one with porchetta, prosciutto crudo, and pecorino cheese, and especially our favorite: mortadella, burrata, and pistachio cream—truly delicious! The place is unique and very characteristic, while the staff is friendly, fast, and always attentive. A place we'll definitely return to.

I went here with some friends to celebrate my birthday. We ate and drank wonderfully, with top-quality cured meats and cheeses, and the service was impeccable despite the large crowd. It'll be a regular stop every time I'm in town!

One of my favorite spots in Florence for charcuterie, porchetta, and an excellent Caprese (buffalo mozzarella, fresh tomatoes, and pistachio pesto). Great food, charming ambience, reasonable prices, and friendly staff.

We had an appetizer of prosciutto and mozzarella, very fresh and plentiful. The ravioli was also excellent, a very generous and flavorful portion. The waiters were very friendly, and the prices were reasonable. Florence is expensive, but the prices at this restaurant are very good.

28/04/2026: We ended up at this fantastic Osteria by chance on Italian Liberation Day (April 25) on the recommendation of another restaurant that was full. The owners, a couple who have been running the restaurant for 32 years, have a passion for cooking and for people. The food was delicious and the owner was very hospitable, approachable, and friendly. 😊 The T-bone steak, something the region is known for, was very well prepared and the hostess let us taste it first. The taglierini verdi was also very tasty! They cook and work with local products as much as possible. All in all, we had a very nice evening at this delicious and cozy restaurant. We will definitely be back again! 🥰

Ristorante Il Lago

09/05/2026: My sister had her wedding reception at Lago Eventi. It's a charming place, and the restaurant with its windows overlooking the lake is a must. The menu was perfect for the occasion, and I especially recommend the pappardelle with wild boar ragù and the tagliata. They were especially attentive to special requests, like making tagliata well-done for a pregnant friend. Magnificent service. Marco, you're amazing!!!! Thank you so much for everything!!!
02/05/2026: We were guests at a wedding, and we were pleasantly surprised not only by the beautiful location, but also by the truly delicious food and the always smiling and friendly staff. Even the owner, with whom we chatted for a moment, reflects the personality of the place and the courtesy of the staff. We recommend it, and not just for events. The delicious gorgonzola and walnut maltagliati and the perfectly cooked arugula and parmesan steak are also included. Special attention is paid to celiacs, with a separate kitchen station for preparation. EXCELLENT!!! Renzo & Miriam Rubino THANK YOU!
