We tasted magnificent pici with tuna, excellent black spaghetti with shrimp and asparagus, surprising sea urchins with truffle and quail eggs, and delicious squid with artichokes: carefully crafted, balanced, and flavorful dishes that showcase excellent ingredients.
It's a true restaurant, where you can sense the passion for this craft.
The bill is absolutely fair and fully justified by the quality of the ingredients, the sourcing of local products, and the overall experience it offers.

09/06/2026: We ordered the wedding cake and a selection of pastries for our wedding, and we were absolutely thrilled!
The cake was simply magnificent: elegant, meticulously crafted, and above all, delicious. The desserts and pastries were also exceptional, fresh, refined, and loved by all our guests.
In addition to the quality of the products, we received impeccable service, with great professionalism, availability, and attentiveness to our requests.

03/05/2026: I hadn't been back for years, it's changed management. I hadn't been back because they'd expanded too much and it felt more like a festival than a restaurant.
We made the mistake of going on a Saturday night, and despite having a reservation, there was a frustrating line for a table and a strange "table-hopping" system where a table for three became available and they were looking for a group of three in the line. Sorry, but did I book or not?
It's nonsense, something I've never seen anywhere else.
Otherwise, once we managed to get a table, the service was courteous and fast, the food was good, and the price was okay.
I'd go back, but not on a Saturday night.

04/05/2026: The staff is always available and very courteous. The dishes are plentiful and of excellent quality. Compliments for the pici all'aglione and the wild boar. The prices are in line with the quality of the food. Another thing not to be missed is the chestnut jam.
03/05/2026: I had lunch at Barilotto with my family and I must say it was a pleasant discovery. The food was excellent, authentic, and plentiful. The staff was courteous and helpful. The house red wine was very good, and the prices were average. I recommend booking well in advance as the place isn't very large and is always very busy. If I ever return to Santa Fiora, I will definitely have lunch here again.
A special shout out to Mario, a nice, kind, and helpful guy.

07/06/2026: We ate at many restaurants during our trip to Florence! We returned here, however, because the food was truly superb, and my son wanted to eat his first Florentine steak! I admit that, even though I'm not a fan of undercooked meat, here I had to change my mind because the raw ingredients were truly exceptional! The tiramisu, as well... the best I've ever had! I'll be back soon!

25/05/2026: Everything was perfect. Super clean apartment, exceptional service, excellent breakfast. Stunning views. Excellent location for visiting the main cities nearby, and also for some lovely bike rides. I highly recommend it.
24/05/2026: A wonderful stay in a peaceful little village with beautiful views of the Tuscan valley from the room and the pool.
The biggest highlight, aside from the view, is the hotel restaurant, which is delicious for both dinner and breakfast, with attentive staff. The only slight improvement would be to the rooms, which could use a little updating.
Nevertheless, we highly recommend this accommodation if you're looking for a peaceful place to stay while exploring Tuscany.

05/04/2026: We ordered the tasting menu, and the food was absolutely not worth the price. All the dishes were flavorless, and the portions were tiny. The flavors overall didn't seem to pair very well. We left the restaurant still hungry and not satisfied with our meal. It's incredible that it's been on the Michelin list for so many years in a row.
The city is pretty, and there are definitely better options.

07/06/2026: I'm surprised by the positive reviews I read. The atmosphere is certainly welcoming, and eating outside is even better. We'll leave it at that, though. The food was decidedly inadequate: we had an appetizer of fried artichokes and zucchini flowers, 90% battered, which were decidedly difficult to eat and digest. I had tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, and the tagliatelle were stuck together, and the only thing I could eat were the porcini mushrooms, which were not very fresh. I don't think we'll ever return; it's a shame, because it was worth it.

17/03/2026: The collection here is incredibly rich! Whether you're into architecture, design, art, history, gardening, sculpture, painting, fashion... you'll find treasures here! It's like a condensed version of the Louvre; even if you just want to stroll around and take some photos, it's well worth it!

11/12/2025: Close your eyes, listen to the clacking of glasses, listen to the voices of the diners delicately conversing, smell the fruity wine in your glass, smell the authentically cooked fish.
Open your eyes, you're at the peniche, where taste meets harmony and every dish becomes a masterpiece of flavor and exaltation. Speechless, try it to believe it.
09/12/2025: Excellent customer service and the food is just beautiful. Wonderful friendly and accommodating staff, will be back on our next visit for sure.
