11/05/2026: The food is very good and authentic. The restaurant is somewhat hidden away, not on one of the main tourist streets. Prices are also OK for Florence. However, the payment process was a bit too touristy. We didn't ask for the bill. We didn't want coffee or espresso, and then the bill arrived, unprompted. This isn't particularly friendly and, as mentioned, feels very touristy. They wanted to quickly fill our table again, even though we were only there for about 1.5 hours, including dessert. The service itself, however, was very friendly.

10/05/2026: My wife and I had the pleasure of celebrating our birthdays here and received a warm welcome. I lived in Florence for several years and am a chef by profession. We discovered a traditional little restaurant where Florentines lovingly prepare their traditional dishes, and the attentive staff serves them with the same care and attention. The Bistecca Florentina was superb in both flavor and perfect doneness, and all the other dishes reflected the traditions of the region. The short wait on our second evening was made more pleasant with a glass of Prosecco, as we had forgotten to make a reservation. The drinks menu leaves nothing to be desired and features excellent wines from the region. You can taste the tradition and the love for the ingredients in every dish. 15/11/2025: A bar with homemade pastries, phenomenal!! There was a wide selection of desserts; we tried the torta della nonna, which is spectacular (it melts in your mouth) and the almond and caramel tart. Everything was delicious! Inside, they also sell products made by the Camaldolese monks (mostly liqueurs and sweets). Next door, there's also a shop selling traditional cured meats and cheeses.

03/05/2026: I hadn't been back for years, it's changed management. I hadn't been back because they'd expanded too much and it felt more like a festival than a restaurant. We made the mistake of going on a Saturday night, and despite having a reservation, there was a frustrating line for a table and a strange "table-hopping" system where a table for three became available and they were looking for a group of three in the line. Sorry, but did I book or not? It's nonsense, something I've never seen anywhere else. Otherwise, once we managed to get a table, the service was courteous and fast, the food was good, and the price was okay. I'd go back, but not on a Saturday night.

16/01/2026: I'm only reviewing the hotel here. We stayed here for three nights during our trip to Italy. The location and the view are fantastic! The transfer from the hotel's own parking lot in the Piaggio Ape is quite an adventure. Unfortunately, the hotel has seen better days. While the rooms have been renovated, they could have invested more in soundproofing! It's extremely noisy; you can hear every word from the corridor and even when your neighbor goes to the bathroom. The room doors also slam quite loudly; they could easily adjust the door closers! Breakfast is typical for Italy: lots of sweets and some rolls, cold cuts, cheese, and fruit. Some of the fruit was quite overripe, especially the oranges. Some of the hotel's bicycles were broken, missing saddles or with flat tires.

05/04/2026: We ordered the tasting menu, and the food was absolutely not worth the price. All the dishes were flavorless, and the portions were tiny. The flavors overall didn't seem to pair very well. We left the restaurant still hungry and not satisfied with our meal. It's incredible that it's been on the Michelin list for so many years in a row. The city is pretty, and there are definitely better options.

11/05/2026: This restaurant hasn't changed much since the 1980s. The fish is excellent, but the portions are small (for example, a €23 grilled meal consisting of four prawns, half a cuttlefish, and a piece of swordfish). Based on the photos I've seen from other users, expect to leave hungry.

23/01/2026: Elegant and welcoming location. Everything was delicious and the service was excellent. The risotto of the day was cacio e pepe, creamy and flavorful. The tagliata and tagliolini with truffle were also very good. Attentive and friendly service. We had a wonderful time.

06/05/2026: Historic restaurant in the Migliarino pine forest. Fresh, well-prepared seafood with an extensive menu, always crowded with fast, competent service. A top-notch wine list. The only drawback is the slightly high prices, but they're in line with Versilia.

07/04/2026: The pirates' lair is jealously guarded by the predators of taste, ready to set sail on new sensory forays. The unwary traveler who sadly approaches the food and fails to recognize the indelible insignia risks getting lost in this Babel of conviviality. The signs are evident, overlapping, and displayed like trophies. Captain Blackbeard's philosophy is clear in its intent and purpose, conveyed by the crew with a Picard-like air as they welcome customers onto the ship with the skull and crossbones. The dim light and the indelible "signs" of those who preceded us facilitate entry into the shop's gustatory knowledge. The tender cured meats gathered on the plate forge a pact of loyalty: first, the fresh prosciutto opens the taste buds to the assault of the more concentrated cured meats and delicate pancettas, which, mindful of their origins, melt at the arrival of the second wave of flavor. In their straw-yellow white suits, complex cheeses arrive, such as the proud pecorino and spicy gorgonzola, veined in their own style, while, freed from shame, the bloomy rinds hide behind the timid parmesan. While awaiting the next assault on the palates of those present, rivers of joyful wine soothe the mood until the arrival of the first courses filled with rich sausages related to light cream or solitary salmon. The tagliata arrive urgently, raw in the rush and flavored with a few random herbs so as not to be completely naked. Rich mascarpone creams, buttery and composed with crunchy fans necessary to hide the intimate grain enclosed within, awaken and cover the raw sensations. After the meal, the brigade gathers in a disorderly fashion to bid farewell and plan the next melee attack.

17/03/2026: One of the most magnificent places in Florence. It's a huge place. There are so many works of art. You need to allocate plenty of time.

17/03/2026: The collection here is incredibly rich! Whether you're into architecture, design, art, history, gardening, sculpture, painting, fashion... you'll find treasures here! It's like a condensed version of the Louvre; even if you just want to stroll around and take some photos, it's well worth it!
