04/06/2025: Ci trovavamo in città e su consiglio di amici abbiamo deciso di fermarci domenica a pranzo “Da Galileo”, accolti dal personale gentile ed educato che ci ha saputo consigliare al meglio cosa assaporare. Il cacciucco uno tra i migliori ,sapore perfettamente bilanciato e gli ingredienti dell’antipasto freschi,di qualità. Ristorante molto accogliente sian nell’arredamento e sia nel personale che ci ha fatto sentire come a casa. Prezzi ragionevoli per qualità del cibo/servizio. Da ritornare sicuramente!!!!

03/06/2025: Cucine da incubo potrebbe tranquillamente farci una signora trasmissione . Andiamo in 11 a Pranzo di Domenica dopo aver prenotato 4 giorni prima , lasciamo perdere l'attesa di 40 minuti solo per ordinare e avere acqua al tavolo ( magari era una giornata caotica ma avranno 40 coperti , non 200) , chiediamo gentilmente i tempi di attesa dato che alle 14.45 dovevamo tornare in piscina alle gare dei ragazzi, ci rassicurano . Dopo un'ora e 15 arrivano i primi cacciucchi ( eravamo lì per quello dato che si definiscono il tempio del cacciucco) ma col contagocce e neanche poi così buoni ..dopo altri 25 minuti mancavano ancora 2 cacciucchi e nel frattempo ne portano 2 al tavolo accanto che era dopo di noi , facendolo notare la proprietaria ci risponde con arroganza dicendo che più di così non potevano fare..Incredibile! ma l'arcano è spigato , lo avevano finito , perchè gli ultimi cacciucchi che arrivano dopo ben 1 ora e 40 sono semplice brodo di pomodoro col pesce crudo dentro!! ma non è più onesto e onorevole ammetterlo e rimediare con qualcosa di alternativo ma commestibile ?? Non hanno neanche avuto il buon senso di dimezzare il conto .La sala e piena di ricordi con personaggi famosi , il più recente di almeno 30 anni fa , probabilmente vivono di ricordi . Da evitare!!

19/02/2025: Great variety of draft and bottled craft beers from many countries (mead, cider and pear cider are also available). Cozy atmosphere, nice decoration and games. The guy who served us was very friendly. Don't hesitate to visit this place

09/05/2025: I recently had a wine tasting at Enoteca Vanni and I strongly recommend the place for all wine lovers. The service and kindness of people is outstanding, as well as the wine selection and the availability of best vintages of f the best wines from Italy, France and Spain with particular attention to Supertuscan and Brunello di Montalcino selections. Definitely a must visit place in Lucca if you love wine.

04/05/2025: Abbiamo cenato divinamente! Non ci siamo concentrati sui primi, che, però, sono sicura che meritano: abbiamo provato la tartare come antipasto (tra l'altro servita con maionese fatta in casa) ed era davvero incredibile! Poi abbiamo preso una fiorentina, servita con un contorno a scelta tra quelli proposti e, devo dire, ottima! Materie prime bene selezionate e sanno lavorarle a modo! Nota di merita per la buonissima focaccia che servono insieme al pane, suppongo fatta in casa!

25/04/2025: On the recommendation of a bartender we went to this restaurant. A very enjoyable experience from start to finish. Photonic food, the truly special beef tartare is to be recommended. Very welcoming and helpful owner. Excellent range of wines to accompany the meal. We were also lucky enough to meet some wonderful people who made it a special evening. Thank you so much. 01/06/2025: We felt at home. Punctual, helpful and friendly service. Excellent quality food. Accuracy and ... generous portions. The Tuscan tradition is not lacking. Everything is very well-kept and clean, just how I like it. The restaurant is adjacent to a clearing with a breathtaking view of the Volterra countryside and, even if in the distance, of the sea and the Tuscan archipelago. At sunset it must be superb. A special applause to the owner: Marta. You can see that she puts enthusiasm into it and transmits it to all her collaborators

12/04/2025: Buonasera, sono stata a mangiare in questo ristorante con un’amica. Abbiamo trovato la location calda e accogliente, personale cordiale e simpatico…nulla da reclamare. Cibo ottimo: abbiamo ordinato un antipasto per due che offriva diverse specialità di mare e a seguire un primo di scampi veramente ottimo. La scelta dei dolci non di nostro gradimento ma questa è solo un’opinione personale!!!! Il prezzo abbordabile… Consiglio questo locale a tutti.

24/05/2025: We were passing through and, being in a seaside location, we stopped with the hope of enjoying some good fish. Unfortunately the experience was disappointing: low quality of food, exaggerated prices and a rushed service. Too bad, because the location could have offered much more.

23/05/2025: Habíamos estado en este restaurante dos veces en 2019 cuando nos alojamos en Siena. Es una joya escondida y la comida auténtica. Tomé el Tagliatelle con trufa dos noches seguidas en 2019 y lo mismo esta vez. Estábamos con otra pareja y les encantó este restaurante y la comida. El servicio fue atento y cortés. El restaurante es pequeño y no se aceptan reservas.

A real leap to other places where the super kind and knowledgeable staff welcomes you in Bavarian clothes and surprises you with excellent food and excellent beers. We went both to spend an evening with friends but also with the children who, in addition to having a Kinder menu, also have a room where they can play, it was the perfect choice on both occasions.
