26/04/2026: The gyoza were very good, but I wasn't entirely sold on the ramen. The portions were quite small and the prices were quite high.

20/04/2026: If you're looking for a slice of authentic Japan away from the chaos of the city center, Ramen Grill on Via Simone Martini is a real find. The atmosphere, managed with the typical care of an Enoteca, is welcoming and modern, ideal for both a quick dinner and a convivial evening. The highlight is, of course, the ramen: the broth is flavorful, perfectly thick, and you can taste the long, artisanal preparation. The noodles have an excellent texture, and the toppings (from tender chashu to perfectly marinated eggs) are high-quality. In addition to the classics, the "Grill" section offers skewers and grilled dishes that complement the menu in an original way. Special mention goes to the wine and beverage list, decidedly superior to the average for Asian restaurants thanks to its connection with the Enoteca. The service is friendly, fast, and the prices are fair for the quality. A neighborhood favorite!

03/03/2026: We visited this place a few weeks ago; the food was good, and the view was definitely exceptional. Prices were a bit high, and the cover charge was meager (a pizzeria placemat), so it's a shame they didn't issue a receipt.

14/02/2026: Wwwooowww!!! A place with an unparalleled view. To say it's wonderful is simply an understatement. Excellent, high-quality food. The menu consists of just a few dishes, but they're executed excellently. We had the steak, which was extraordinary; the mushroom squares with sausage and pumpkin, which I highly recommend; two side dishes, one of which was delicious sautéed vegetables; and finally, a sampling of delicious desserts. I'd say the service was special because the owner is truly a wonderful and kind person, and he's incredibly friendly, and meeting people like that these days is rare. A welcome that embraced me. We promised each other we'd return; we've discovered a place we love.

10/04/2026: Today for 4 people: seafood appetizer for 4, seafood rice for 4, and a platter of fried calamari for 2 divided between 4. Cafe 2 bottles of house white wine.... 60 euros each..= 240 euros..let's forget it, next time it's better to spend 60 euros each in Porto Santo Stefano even for just 1 plate of anchovies rather than spending it on a place overlooking the platforms.

01/02/2026: I dined here a few months ago. Da Giovannino is a simple restaurant in the center of San Giovanni. The food is good, both traditional Tuscan dishes and pizzas and baked goods. Perfect for enjoying a meal with friends or family in a comfortable atmosphere.

29/04/2026: Worst cooking class I've ever encountered. Also the most expensive. Save your money and go elsewhere - I took 3 other classes in Italy for half the price far superior. The cook had no knowledge of of pasta - asking us to purposefully overknead the dough so it wouldn't get really tough. They didn't add meat to a ragu for the reason of "tasting the tomatoes". Both sauces were also too runny. The tiramisu portion was just us mixing the mascarpone filling - when it came to serving it he put it together and insisted the ladyfingers are always meant to be crunchy. Not correct - it's meant to be very creamy. The pasta we received was of course too tough and chewy, the sauces were bland and lifeless plus ICE COLD. I left starving and disappointed. The wine was the only thing they kept flowing probably to get people buzzed enough to think the food was even sort of decent. I guess their kitch is putting people in funny aprons. Find another place, save your money and your tastebuds.

24/04/2026: We had an amazing pasta making class at this place. We made parpadelle and ravioli and learned a lot about the history of pasta making from Rafaelo. And the tiramisu we made as a group was just out of control Good. Best we’ve ever had.
