05/11/2025: Arriving at the entrance, I'm pleased to see a sign thanking all the customers who have frequented the restaurant over the years, allowing the owners to continue their passion for the restaurant business. We came for a fixed-price business lunch, so there are several dishes to choose from, and honestly, there's a wide selection of first and second courses. The welcome is very warm and friendly. Tables are clean and linens are provided, and wine glasses are provided. Bruschetta was served while you wait. I ordered penne with porcini mushrooms and grilled chicken with beans. I promise I'll return for an à la carte lunch. Recommended!

29/10/2025: I've rarely eaten so badly. Unfortunately, today there was no à la carte menu, but rather a set menu. We were there with four adults and five children, and the children ate practically nothing. The other adults were also very dissatisfied with the food. The prices, however, were completely unreasonable; the supposed hidden gem ended in a financial disaster and, ultimately, hungry children. A small addendum to my reply: We weren't invited; we paid ourselves, and none of the nine of us were satisfied. The children didn't eat anything but were charged in full without a second thought. Our request to prepare even a small dish for the children was refused. If you're describing the menu so positively, you yourself must realize that it's absolutely not child-friendly. Referencing our German specialties in this way is not only extremely poor but also, in part, racist. It speaks volumes about the awful character of your establishment and of you personally. If I could give zero stars, I would.

09/12/2025: The atmosphere was truly lovely and welcoming, very well-kept and decorated for the holidays. My husband and I ordered two fries, a very generous portion, and then two pizzas. The pizzas were good, but the heavy mozzarella and mushrooms made them very moist. My husband had the tiramisu, which was very generous. Excellent service and a reasonable price.

23/11/2025: I was in the area for work and, attracted by some interesting photos of the dishes, decided to have lunch at this restaurant. I arrived and was told the kitchen would open in a few minutes. No problem. I decided to sit down, have an aperitif, and wait. I asked the man at the counter for a menu to look at, and in a rather impolite and impolite manner, he replied that the menu "is the one hanging outside." Basically, I should have read the menu at work and decided what I wanted to order. I ignored it, took a quick look, and sat down at my table. I waited 11 minutes, and despite the fact that there was only me and a couple of gentlemen drinking coffee, no one ever came to my table. At that point, the inconvenience had become intolerable, and I decided to leave and have lunch at another restaurant. This business confirms the general low level of professionalism I've encountered in many other establishments in the area.

15/10/2025: I visited because I was craving seafood, but unfortunately, they didn’t have any that day, so I ordered the ragu pasta instead. It turned out to be the best-seasoned pasta I’ve had during my trip in Italy — perfectly salted and really delicious. The fried calamari was also incredibly tender and tasty. The prices were reasonable, and even the bread served before the meal was great 👍 When I entered, he guided me to a seat near the restroom and asked where I was from — then immediately said “China?”, which made me a bit unsure at first. But he was attentive throughout the entire meal, checking in occasionally to see if I needed anything. In the end, I was very satisfied. Highly recommended!

01/10/2025: Passing through Elba Island for a week's vacation, we stopped in for lunch on Monday. We arrived at 12:20 because we were pressed for time with the ferry, but were told to come back at 12:30-12:40 because it was still closed. We returned at 12:35 and saw four tables already occupied, so our menu choice was affected by the cooking times. Never mind, we only ordered two first courses and two glasses of wine at a steep €43. On our return trip a week later, the ferry was a bit late, and we arrived at the restaurant at 2:00 PM. The closing time was listed as 2:30 PM, but we were told the kitchen had just closed due to lack of customers. A terrible impression, and we were told to go to the restaurant across the street where they serve sandwiches and platters. I told them we'd rushed here specifically to eat here and that I'd find another restaurant myself. Never again.

29/09/2025: As soon as we disembarked from the ferry, in the historic center of Piombino we found this osteria where we were welcomed warmly. The menu offers land or sea options with affordable options and a good selection of wines. The Maremmana steak and porchetta won over our palates, highly recommended.

10/10/2025: Parking for trucks costs 14€, but this price includes dinner, which is quite good.

05/09/2025: Fixed menu: €12 for meat, €14 for fish. The food is excellent. The staff are friendly, and the restaurant and service are clean. The parking lot is small, with room for 5-6 trucks at most.

12/09/2025: Something wonderful! We stopped in the town center looking for these sweets, and the cream inside was a mistake. We arrived at Pasticceria Macchioni and found this wonder, made on site. The cream is like a milky cloud, with a natural cream aroma, not the chemicals found in some places. I highly recommend it, and the coffee is delicious too! Don't miss this place!

31/08/2025: Top pastry shop, very nice lady at the cash register, and then...."the blond who drives the world crazy", the added value, it seems to have come out of a Tarantino film, it seems serious, but don't stop at the first impression 😉

05/10/2025: Excellent pastry shop in the center of Monsummano. The staff is very kind and attentive to their customers' needs. They produce both gluten- and gluten-free products, without the risk of cross-contamination. Between the two of us, we had two cappuccinos, a croissant with their chocolate cream (highly recommended), and a gluten-free pain au chocolat. Everything was delicious. The prices are slightly higher than average, but for the quality, it's absolutely worth it.

20/09/2025: Every time I go to Siena, I book at Michele's. I've been going there for five years now and have always had a great experience. I'll be down in Siena again in October and I'll book a table there. Excellent food, a large restaurant, suitable for large groups, polite staff, and Michele is a great character. The meat is truly excellent, as are the pasta dishes, a wide selection, and very tasty. I recommend it.
