26/08/2026: Excellent cuisine, service could be improved ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I've been to this restaurant and I have to say I had a really good meal. The dishes are carefully prepared, tasty, and you can taste the quality of the ingredients. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I would definitely return. However, I'm leaving 4 stars for a small comment on the service. I noticed that some of the girls were very attentive and precise in their table settings and cutlery management, while in one instance, attention to detail was lacking, with the cutlery not always being placed appropriately. Nothing serious, but I think that with more uniform training for all the staff, the service could be even more professional. The cuisine gets top marks, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is pleasant. With a little more attention to service, it would be 5 stars. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

25/08/2026: We got a table (without reservation) at 21:55 and waited 20 min to get the waiter taking our order. We asked the personnel 3 times to order. They were busy but still accommodating people arriving for dinner. When we finally order, The starter took another 35 min to reach our table. We went for the octopus which was good. Then we had to wait another 25 min to get our main dishes, we ordered a linguini with prawns and pesto pistachio which was ok, and the branzino with Potato and hazelnuts which was really disappointing. I would not recommend that dish. Absolutely lack of flavor and character. The smashed potatoes like a cream and the fish… I can not even describe it it taste like nothing. The add of hazelnut is just a bit of crumbles on the side more as a decorative garnish. The octopus that we had as starter is highly recommended and the one and only really good dish that we tried. This restaurant has a good ambience, the service they offer although slow is kind and attentive. They are respectful with the customer. The presentation of the dishes is a highlight. The prices are within the average but quality and taste-wise specially for Sicilian specialties (as fish and pasta) it is not special. At least on the dishes we ordered, except by the octopus. We complained with the manager who told us they were quite busy and it is the normal waiting time, he was kind and offer us a glass of prosecco and when we were paying a taste of his granita. We value the effort to “repair” however we can not accept that at 11pm this is an excuse, plus if they lack of capacity they would want to consider being thoughtful and transparent with the client and instead of being focusing on making money, offering quality in the food.

09/08/2026: Always welcoming and courteous! Always ready to offer samples of their specialties! Their panettone is among the best on the market: it stays soft and full of flavor for a long time! The spreads are exceptional! Especially the pistachio and coffee ones! And what about the variety of almond pastries!? Aesthetically appealing, different in shape and ingredients (hazelnuts, walnuts, pine nuts, jam, pistachios, chocolate...), they all have one thing in common (besides almonds! 😅): they're incredibly delicious! 😋😋😋 A must-visit every time I go to Castelbuono! ❤️

05/08/2026: A well-stocked bar and an even better pastry shop, the best panettone and much more, very kind... they offer samples of the various panettone that melt in your mouth.

16/08/2026: Everything was excellent: the rolls and arancini were exceptional, but the Genovese were a cut above. Definitely the best dough I've ever tasted. Keep up the good work!

09/08/2026: I waited a long time, but it was worth it. I really enjoyed sitting there, and the food and Aperol were delicious. Between 6 and 8:30 pm, you should expect to wait at least 20-40 minutes.

24/04/2026: We were on a road trip in Sicily and had dinner here. We had the best pizza of our entire vacation! We highly recommend this restaurant, whether you're craving pizza or a classic Italian meal with pasta and meat or fish. The service was very friendly, and you can speak Italian or English. We were even treated to a complimentary limoncello at the end. The restaurant is located right on the beach. Parking is easy and plentiful, and the location is perfect for a stroll along the shore.

11/06/2026: Personalized service, four languages ​​spoken by the head waitress. The tuna was spectacular, the pasta with sea urchin was unbeatable, and we can't forget the tiramisu semifreddo. The chef's attention was also a plus. A highly recommended experience. We left with a very good feeling.

Thank you for saving my trip 💕 We came here again the next day and had the same pasta (prawn and pistachio pesto 🤤) and orange tiramusu. Amazing 😻

13/08/2026: An exceptional culinary experience in Sicily! We dined at this splendid restaurant and were delighted. The raw fish was incredibly fresh, a true delight. The busiate pasta with sea urchins, shrimp, and pistachio cream deserves special mention: a superb combination and unforgettable flavor. To top it all off, the staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and professional. We'll definitely be back, highly recommended!

Truly excellent food, freshly cooked, everything carefully crafted and of high quality, and the staff were extremely kind and helpful. At the end of the evening, we also had the pleasure of chatting with the owner, a truly friendly and passionate person. A delightful evening with our group. Highly recommended!

03/07/2026: We visited this restaurant based on positive reviews, and we couldn’t have made a better choice. The restaurant is in a stunning location, and the food and service were just as amazing. Everything is prepared with fresh ingredients, and the prices are more than reasonable for Sicily. I highly recommend this place.

21/08/2026: We arrived and couldn't find the table we'd reserved, so they made us wait in the middle of the room with two children, one year old and one year old. We sat down at 1:45 PM and, after ordering our food almost immediately, it was served at 3 PM. Despite repeatedly asking about the dishes, especially for the children, they ignored us. Furthermore, the food was of poor quality: the porcini mushrooms were frozen, and the pasta was so hard it was almost inedible. We had also ordered potatoes and vegetables, which were never served, but were included on our bill.

04/04/2026: I absolutely loved stumbling Across this place , wonderful little bar in Nicolosi only 20 minutes from Mount Aetna it literally has such a huge variety of wines, tequilas and different hard liquors. They have finger foods and the ambience is absolutely adorable. Would definitely return here!!!!

03/04/2026: Great discovery! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We visited DL Food and Drink and were impressed. The food is truly excellent, but the real highlight is the burgers: simply perfect, with quality meat and just the right consistency. The service also deserves a mention: attentive, fast, and extremely friendly staff. Excellent value for money. We'll definitely be back!

09/05/2026: A fantastic place. We've been twice. One day just for drinks because we weren't hungry. The lady encouraged us to try the food, so we returned for dinner the next day. What a great idea! I'm a pretty good cook, but the pasta and salads the owner's daughter made us were, in my opinion, the best I've ever had. They also paired us with a great wine. Finally, we had tiramisu, which literally melted in our mouths. The owner's live music adds to the atmosphere of this place. It's a shame we're leaving because we'd eat there every day. Don't think it's just a pub. It's a wonderful restaurant. The prices? Very reasonable for the food and portion sizes. For three courses, a bottle of wine, a drink, and dessert, €77 is a bargain.

18/08/2026: We had the pleasure of dining at Gagini restaurant with my wife and our 9-year-old son, and everything was absolutely perfect from beginning to end. The cuisine is remarkable, creative, and refined, with exceptionally high-quality ingredients and a presentation worthy of the finest restaurants. Each dish was a discovery and a true gastronomic journey. But what makes this restaurant even more memorable is the quality of the welcome and service. The entire team showed exceptional attentiveness, especially towards our son. Despite the restaurant's high culinary standards, they made him feel at ease, gave him genuine attention, and ensured he, too, had an experience he will cherish. The ambiance, the professionalism, the kindness of the staff, and the excellence of the cuisine make Gagini a must-visit in Palermo. A huge thank you to the entire team. Without a doubt, one of the highlights of our stay in Sicily. We will definitely be back. PS: I loved their sound system 😅
