13/11/2025: We have followed the recommandation of the guide book once again and it was very nice. We had these delicious typical flat sandwiches. Staff is very friendly. A very good place to go for lunch!

03/11/2025: A truly charming place in the heart of Ortigia. We drank interesting and sophisticated cocktails, carefully crafted and truly delicious. The atmosphere is sophisticated yet welcoming, with a historic square and the sky overhead—a truly evocative atmosphere. The food is simple yet fresh and well-prepared: we tried a fennel salad and anchovy crostini, perfect accompaniments to our drinks. An ideal place for a relaxed and delicious evening, definitely worth a visit if you're visiting Ortigia.

04/10/2025: Nestled in a charming corner of Piano Battaglia, this restaurant is a real surprise. The warm and welcoming atmosphere is perfect after a walk in the woods. The traditional and authentic dishes reflect the flavors of the mountains: fresh mushrooms, local cheeses, and delicious meats. A place you'll want to return just to savor those authentic flavors again. Highly recommended!

30/10/2025: Excellent food, refined and never banal. The portions are generous and the fish is incredibly fresh. The fish appetizers are delicious, and the fried fish is delicious! The citrus-flavored fillet is a MUST-TRY. A true delight for the palate! The staff is friendly and helpful. We chatted a bit after the service, and I must say that, in addition to being professional, they are also very friendly. Highly recommended!

27/10/2025: A very nice, quiet, and characteristic place, ideal for eating well and spending a relaxing evening. The owners are pearls of people, very down-to-earth, friendly, welcoming, and very knowledgeable. The place offers mostly fish-based dishes of excellent quality, which are served and prepared excellently, from appetizers to main courses! The selection of wines to pair with the dishes is also excellent, and if you don't know much about them, let their sommelier advise you, he won't disappoint! They serve the same menu also in a gluten-free version, including dessert, which by the way is not to be missed. It's basically a homemade chocolate cake with a little pistachio powder that is something indescribable. I assure you that even if you are full at the end of the meal, it will be impossible to resist it!! To return and return. Thank you very much, it is always a pleasure to come and eat at your place.

01/10/2025: We go to Erice repeatedly and we always look forward to this bar!! There is a very nice and cheerful service, delicious almond cookies or typical Linz dough cookies filled with various creams, the best is with ricotta - sheep's milk cheese. On one side of the bar there are sweet treats, on the other side there are savory snacks - pasta, pizza, arancine, focaccia, ..... pleasant sitting outside with amazing views with a coffee or good wine.

20/11/2025: We stopped by two weeks ago while on vacation in Trapani. We had their delicacies for lunch two days in a row (panini, cabucci, panelle, all delicious). The staff were friendly and welcoming. What can I say? We highly recommend it.

11/10/2025: I ended up at Gustoriana in Mondello "just for a drink"... and of course I didn't want to leave. The Long Island was so well made I started to think I was in Miami (spoiler: I was still in Mondello, but happy anyway). The owner is a rare kindness—the kind who makes you laugh while serving you, and in the end you find yourself toasting with him as if you'd been friends forever. Perfect place for those looking for good cocktails, good company, and a healthy dose of Sicilian irony.

02/12/2025: Very kind staff, excellent pastries, I took two Panettone ( Italian dessert for Christmas time ) I had a taste ( there is an outside space to do it ) of pandoro with pistacchio cream and a very good coffee. Absolutely delicious

30/11/2025: We came to Gangi from Palermo for a Sunday outing with my boyfriend. They highly recommended this place, but unfortunately we hadn't booked, and they advised us to come back hours later if a table became available. Unfortunately, I felt unwell (I suffer from a genetic muscle syndrome, migraines, and am visibly underweight). A kind gentleman took us to the emergency medical center, where we were advised to rest and eat before driving back to Palermo (an hour and a half away). So, since it was the only trattoria within walking distance, we went there again (just before closing time), hoping they would be kind. I couldn't speak and was visibly pale and confused. My boyfriend kindly asked if there were any free tables, explaining that it was an emergency. The owner, recognizing us, rudely replied that there were no tables available, turning to the waiter and mockingly whispering that we had come twice, as if we were trying to make fun of them. I understand the lack of seating, but I found the owner's and the entire staff's behavior toward a young woman who was clearly struggling to be truly inhumane and insensitive. They didn't even bother to let me sit down for a moment, and if I wanted a glass of water, they literally kicked us out, telling us to go to the bar a few meters away. We were truly upset and left without saying anything, with mocking comments playing in the background.

20/11/2025: Excellent, locally-run trattoria serving authentic, local, and locally sourced produce. The owners are very hospitable and welcoming. The menu caters to a wide range of tastes.

02/12/2025: They had really good pasta there! - And I had eaten a lot of pasta elsewhere in the days before.

30/11/2025: Really nice food, had Marinara pizza and Sicilian meat ball, the meatball was really special, highly recommend. Also the decoration was typical Sicilian style, really pretty

05/12/2025: Welcoming place, excellent service, and truly sublime dishes. Everything I ate was carefully prepared: tuna tartare, marinated shrimp, and busiate pasta with gorgonzola, arugula, and shrimp—delicious. I highly recommend it.

01/10/2025: Not a fan. Ordered the tagallini with prawns, expecting regular size prawns. Instead the dish was filled with overcooked tiny baby tiger prawns. Not good. My husband ordered the tuna. Would not recommend if you’re used to a tuna steak. It was a poor piece of paper- thin tuna that was medium rare on one side and well done on the other. The owner was rude when we told him that we were disappointed with the tuna. He told us that he would have to charge us double if we wanted a new piece of medium rare tuna. With so many good restaurants in Syracusa, find another place to eat.

28/09/2025: I came here with my family while on a cruise excursion—it was a great lunch spot! I got the #2 salad and Carbonara. Great atmosphere and great service. Wondering owners.
