12/08/2024: After two weeks traveling far and wide across north-eastern Sicily (the whole thing between Tindari and Catania and extended towards Ragusa Ibla) and multiple tastings everywhere, on the very last day and returning towards the embarkation point I found the best of absolutely all of them. A granita of unspeakable creaminess: I highly recommend the ricotta and almond mix with brioscia.

10/08/2024: What better welcome as soon as you "landed" in Sicily! Excellent granita, with artisanal cream and fresh orange-flavoured brioches! Very kind staff, they'll keep an eye on your luggage if you consume in the adjoining room!

09/08/2024: On average €90/kg for industry experts is a steal in this newborn (compared to other local brands) shop in the heart of Modica. Modern environment and friendly staff who are too sales-oriented. Modica chocolate of different types, pure and refined with local ingredients.

07/08/2024: Interesting shop where you will find many different types of chocolate on display, with various aromas and intensities, from 48 to 100%. Obviously Modica chocolate produced by them, the infused chocolates are also interesting. The girl who patiently illustrated every single product was kind, but I didn't like the lady, her manners were hasty and focused solely on sales. But...the prices are really very high...considering that in the area there are other chocolate producers with much more affordable prices!

02/09/2024: August 2024. Small bakery in a side street of Noto. Found thanks to a sign in the main street. It is about 150 meters from the main street and maybe half a kilometer from the cathedral. Parking is difficult to find near the venue. There are seats in the outdoor area with raised chairs and covered white tables. The white pizza with onion is spectacular. Soft, tall, tasty, crunchy, both the potato and the dough. They don't use lard except for the cannoli. Fair prices between 15/18 euros per kg.

29/08/2024: What an amazing place , the bread and the sfincioni is to die for. You can really tell that the quality of the flour it’s at a super high level.. the best panificio I visit in Sicily by far.

24/08/2024: Excellent time at Cala Piada. Welcomed by a very warm Frenchman, we were pampered, table prepared outside while we received advice on choosing in French, local and excellent products. Everyone is very attentive and it was a perfect and inexpensive lunch break that was offered to us. Specialty between sandwich and panini with homemade bread and a huge choice. Salads etc. Far from the tourist trap restaurants we recommend!!!!

16/08/2024: They charge for service when in reality you are paying to be able to sit at a table, because no one is going to serve you. That is, you pay for self service. Furthermore, they don't let you pay by card if there is no minimum consumption, something that no longer happens even in the smallest store in the most remote place. In my opinion it is just another place, opened by a speculator, with zero reasons to recommend in a place as beautiful as Ortigia.

02/08/2024: Our experience was not as good as expected. The location in an interior courtyard is very pleasant. The service is friendly. The cocktail was passable (for example the mojito was made with lemon juice and not lemon crushed with mint). On the other hand, we didn't like the food. We had a charcuterie cheese board and a tomato and ricotta foccacia as well as a cheese bruschetta. The cheese bruschetta was very good but we didn't like the rest. The cheese and cold meats didn't seem to be of very good quality. It seems to us that you can find better value for money elsewhere.

17/07/2024: Siamo stati a cena il 16 luglio, dopo aver seguito le recensioni molto positive di chi ha cenato in questa Trattoria, confermiamo i giudizi positivi, ottima cena a base di pesce con primo 2 fettuccine ai gamberi, fettuccine al pesce spada, pesce spada grigliato frittura di calamari e calamari arrosto. Tutto buonissimo ed abbondante, il personale gentilissimo ci hanno offerto anche una porzione di panelle, consiglio assolutamente questa trattoria a Palermo. La spesa assolutamente competitiva unita all'ottima qualità.

28/07/2024: The time zone is one of the historic places of Palermo. Well-kept place with large internal space and external tables. Table service is provided. Friendly and helpful staff. Average prices. You can both drink and eat. As for the cuisine, it is possible to eat different types of appetizers, sandwiches, piadinas and kebabs. But the highlight are the burgers, of which there is an enormous variety. For customers in wheelchairs it is only possible to sit outside because due to a high step without a platform it is impossible to access the inside if you are not accompanied.
