I didn't like the sauce on my bruschetta with porcini mushrooms, so they replaced them, but I'd forgotten I'd ordered tagliatelle with porcini, and it was the same sauce, so... I didn't like that either. How embarrassing! And they changed that one too. I don't know of a restaurant that would have done that... Absolutely fantastic!

07/03/2026: Completely satisfied! We stumbled upon Trattoria La Piattino by chance. But it was a pleasant surprise. 10 overall: Food, hospitality, wide selection, tasteful decor! The owner and waiter were very kind, and the food was delicious. It will be our regular stop every time we come to Zafferana! ❤️

03/04/2026: Simply fantastic! Dining here becomes an experience! Part of this experience is the fantastic service from the staff, who make you feel like you are the absolute center of attention. It's an exciting journey through the flavors of the world. The large, open kitchen, directly connected to the dining area, is particularly appealing. The dishes are also a visual treat, presented with great style – a true delight!

12/04/2026: I ate at Kantunera with my family. We enjoyed all of Chef Danilo's dishes and the kindness and professionalism of Letizia, who assisted us at the table. I recommend the octopus with mashed potatoes and the linguine with shrimp and pistachio pesto, which my 6- and 10-year-old children particularly enjoyed. We will definitely be back!

22/02/2026: The people, the service and atmosphere were nice. Antipasti and pasta too. However the meat was terrible and they don't seem to understand how different types of meat and cuts should be grilled/cooked. That's the capocollo I was served.

The portions are generous, the staff is friendly, and the setting is elegant and quaint, with stone interiors and a stove that warms the room (it was snowing outside that day). Every single dish reflects the passion and care the entire staff has for both the ingredients and the customers. We'll definitely be back!

02/04/2026: We had such a beautiful lunchtime experience at Ristorante Badia. The restaurant itself is incredibly aesthetically pleasing, colourful, vibrant, and full of authentic Sicilian charm. We ordered the Risotto alla Marinara and every bite was absolutely delicious. The seafood was fresh, and the sauce on the risotto was good. We also tried the Tagliatelle rosso di Mazara e tartufo. Although it had to be substituted with local smaller prawns instead of the red shrimp, the price was adjusted accordingly, which we really appreciated. The dish was still delicious, full of flavour, with fresh, fragrant truffle that elevated it beautifully. After our meal, we were offered a delicious almond aperitif, which was the perfect touch to end a lovely lunch. The servers were warm, welcoming, and made us feel so at ease throughout. We would certainly recommend visiting!

23/10/2025: The restaurant is found upon entering through Porta Trapani. At the door, a kind gentleman provides information on the complicated parking procedures (only one parking spot works with cards and debit cards). Gratefully, we decide to go in. Friendly staff, delicious arancini al burro, and a delicious Genovese for dessert. Fair prices.

15/03/2026: A small restaurant located in the center of Cefalù, with very helpful, attentive, and welcoming staff. We tried the Sicilian octopus salad and eggplant caponata as appetizers: good, though not particularly generous. The house "Al Carretto" first course was decidedly more generous, with mussels, tomatoes, and seasonal vegetables: a tasty and successful combination. Prices are in line with the average for Cefalù restaurants. Highly recommended!

02/01/2026: Terrible experience for Christmas lunch. Rude welcome with inappropriate comments about diet—if we were on a diet, we certainly wouldn't have eaten at a restaurant. At this point, I think even he knew the portions were ridiculous, even for a diet. They served us a medium-sized risotto dish and another with 16 paccheri for five people (only three raw paccheri per person, and not enough risotto for five). Breaded swordfish was the main course, but the breading wasn't the best, and that's the excuse for the broken cash machine. Highly not recommended.
