They gave us one little slice of herb bread each which we thought was complimentary like at other Italian restaurants we had dined at but charged us €1.5 each on the bill. It's not about the amount but about the practice, you should know what you're paying for.

27/04/2025: Driven by the reviews we read, we booked, the place was full internally, they made us sit outside. A false and unstable structure created from wooden poles and cellophane with chipboard tops as a base for the tables, with paper tablecloths. The anonymous and tasteless soups, a mediocre pork fillet with plums and a stringy fig stew. Costs absolutely not proportionate to the poor quality of the products.

30/05/2025: Spartan place. We went to eat with several people, the food was really very good and refined, the only flaw was the staff. They seemed quite annoyed in having to serve us, a shame, because the quality is definitely superior. The environment in line with what was declared, the only flaw was the little space between the chairs and the wall. All in all a 4 star seems like an excellent compromise to me.

25/05/2025: I hadn't been there since they moved to the new location in Via Trincea delle Frasche but I have to say that the change hasn't altered the spaces in the slightest, which are now definitely larger, nor the quality of the food, which has remained excellent. It's always a pleasure to come back and visit you guys. Congratulations, keep it up 👏🏻

01/04/2025: After many years I managed to return to this once very popular place! I was disappointed!! The appetizers and first courses are no longer as carefully crafted as they were then and the quality of the products has deteriorated a bit. The scampi cream rice was salty and I couldn't eat it. I'm sorry because it was a pleasant stop. The environment of the 1st room is magnificent, but the 2nd room seems like an "aseptic" and cold hospital room!

02/05/2025: Pork N Roll has a great atmosphere with great classic rock inside and pleasant seating outside. Very clean, well run business. The owner, Valentino, speaks perfect English as do some of the staff. Even if the communication is rough, they are very welcoming of all and will make you feel at home. Come early for a beer and you will receive enough wonderful things to eat, you will not need an appetizer! Delicious cheeses, meats, olives, bruschetta etc. The main courses include many great dishes. My wife always gets the Grigliata mista (mixed grill) which includes a variety of wonderful grilled meats. These meats come from Valentino's family farm in southern Italy. I switch between the grilled sausages (salsicce grigliate) and Tagliata al lupolo (steak marrinated in hop flavored sauce). The beer selection is always great and served very fresh. I highly recommend taking the short walk from Tiburtina station and trying out this gem of a pub!

03/06/2025: Wow. Beautiful restaurant in a wine cellar from the 17th century. All the staff is extended family. The service is friendly and stellar. We had a sea bass dish that was out of this world. Can’t recommend this restaurant enough. Go! You will not be disappointed.

We dined here based on his recommendation, and it was hands-down one of the best meals we had during our trip to Rome. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff made us feel like old friends. They recommended we let the chef surprise us with their off-menu extravaganza, and we’re so glad we did! From start to finish, each course was a revelation: fresh seafood, handmade pastas, rich, flavorful sauces, and a perfectly paired selection of local wines. Every bite was a celebration of authentic Roman flavors elevated to something truly special. The attention to detail and passion for the craft are unmistakable, and you can tell this is a place where food is treated with love. 12/05/2025: Nice place, pretty, veeery busy! We were lucky to go early so we got a table right away but later on I saw queues waiting outside. The guy who served us was super nice! We ordered two mains and a salad but for some reason They brought us the salad and bread and said that they cannot bring the food together for lack of space and they will bring it in 10 mins. To be honest I think there was enough space for everything.. We ate the salad but it took ages to bring us the food and as a result we were full. I asked the girl if the food is coming cause maybe they forgot, she was a bit rude telling me that it takes time to cook it but it had been ages since we ordered it and people around us that ordered 5 mins ago got their food. Anyway finally the food arrived but as I said we were too full to eat it. Luckily when I asked for a take away box they were very cool about it but I made sure not to ask that girl from before. Sooo the food was ok, nothing too special. Salad was nice and liked the bread a lot. The men of the stuff were very nice, the girls not so much.
