04/04/2026: Lovely little gem! Found this place on a busy Saturday night and it turned out to be a great choice. The drinks menu is excellent and the overall vibe is really fun. Special thanks to the staff—one of the ladies kindly went the extra mile to overcome the language barrier and even suggested places where I could try the gnocchi I was craving. That thoughtful gesture really made the experience even better. Do visit when you are in the area and you will love it!!

13/04/2026: According to many, myself included, the best Carbonara in Rome. In the trendy Monti district; reservations are not possible, so you might have to wait in line. You are seated on bar stools. No frills, very tasty food.

The service from the staff was fantastic; however, I found the receptionist's attitude a bit harsh. He wasn't rude, but I think it's always good to communicate respectfully. We had a good experience overall.

My friend had ordered a first course and I had a fried fish, so while waiting for my second course, they kindly offered me a taste of linguine with octopus and truffle. 06/04/2026: I visited Docking 9 for a midweek lunch, and the atmosphere was truly perfect: just a few tables occupied, relaxing silence, and that sense of calm that lets you savor every moment, ideal for both a lunch for two and a leisurely meeting. As soon as you enter, you almost feel like you're stepping aboard: wood everywhere, nautical details, and large windows overlooking the sailboats docked on the Tiber. The light that enters is soft, reflecting on the water... creating an intimate atmosphere, with sparkling reflections moving throughout the room. The menu is entirely dedicated to the seafood. We started with the freshest Gillardeau oysters, followed by delicate sea bass sashimi on a bed of crispy puntarelli. The steamed octopus was tender, warm, and slightly moist. The star of this restaurant is the fish soup: it arrived steaming hot, thick, and filling. Each spoonful was rich and enveloping, with so many different types of fish. A dish that warms and satisfies you on its own. To finish, a chocolate brownie with a soft, intense center, perfect for leaving a sweet, deep note at the end of lunch. A place to slow down and let yourself be carried away... just like being on a boat, but with the right dish in front of you.

04/05/2026: I stayed and dined at Benito al Bosco, and the experience was truly delightful. The property, nestled in the woods, has an '80s style but is well-maintained and perfectly in keeping with the natural surroundings. To reach it, you travel along narrow roads, which can make crossings with other vehicles a bit tricky, but this is a characteristic of the area, not the property itself, and it also contributes to the place's charm. The entrance is very charming, decorated with numerous photos of famous people (politicians, singers, footballers, actors), which tell the story of the place. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained, with clean bathrooms equipped with everything you need. The property has ample parking, with the option, if available, of using some spaces right in front of the entrance. The restaurant was a pleasant surprise: the menu isn't overly extensive but is well-thought out, with both meat and fish options. We tried both options, and the quality was excellent. The capriccio di mare and the pacchero storico were particularly delicious. We also appreciated the variety of breads available. The service was fast, attentive, and above all very friendly. There's also a swimming pool and the option to eat both inside and outside, depending on the season. A truly pleasant stay, made even better by the kindness and helpfulness of the staff. Breakfast wasn't huge, especially on the savory side, but it was still good quality: the crostata and Sacher torte were very good.

The menu isn't overwhelming, allowing guests to choose from a variety of options, all intriguing and never predictable. Service is provided by expert staff who pleasantly guide guests through the menu! We ate fish, and it was all delicious! A well-known and highly regarded restaurant that maintains its reputation.
