02/07/2026: We discovered Il Gabriello during our holiday in Rome after hearing about it in one of Pasta Queen's videos, and it completely exceeded our expectations. From the moment we walked in, we knew we had found something special. The restaurant's underground, cellar-like setting creates a beautiful atmosphere—quiet, elegant, relaxing, and with a luxurious feel that makes you want to stay for hours. We started with the Scottata di Mazzancolle al Timo and the Calamaro Rosticciato con Caponatina, accompanied by an excellent bottle of white wine from the Lazio region. Unfortunately, I can't remember the name of the wine, but it paired perfectly with the food. The dishes were so incredibly delicious—and beautifully presented—that we simply had to order more. Every plate looked like it belonged in a fine dining restaurant. We then enjoyed the Costolette di Agnello Presale a Scottadito, the Filetto di Manzo al Pepe Verde, and a side of Patate al Forno. Every single dish was cooked to perfection, full of flavour, and presented with exceptional attention to detail. What made the evening even more memorable was the outstanding service. Every member of the staff was genuinely warm, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel comfortable from start to finish. Il Gabriello was without a doubt one of the highlights of our trip to Rome. If you're looking for authentic Italian cuisine elevated by fine dining presentation, outstanding service, and a wonderful atmosphere, this place is an absolute must-visit. We will definitely be back the next time we're in Rome.

02/06/2026: Giggetto is undoubtedly one of the most famous restaurants in the area, well-known and consistently well-reviewed. I tried it for the first time and was not disappointed. The location needs no introduction: it's fortunate to be on the lake in a breathtaking setting! Eating al fresco among the trees in the garden overlooking the lake is priceless. The menu is classic, with simple dishes for all tastes (both meat and fish). Everything is well-cooked and the ingredients are top-quality (the sea bream was truly excellent). The service could be improved. We had the fried lake fish, perfect in quantity (in fact, I'd say abundant) and quality! The purgatory beans, baked sea bream with potatoes, and sliced ​​tuna. It definitely deserves its name!!

30/06/2026: Recommended by a dear friend, I ate at this excellent restaurant with my family during a quick visit to Soriano nel Cimino. The quality and quantity were excellent, with fast and attentive service (plus helpful and friendly staff!). There are a few tables outside, but all the interior spaces are spacious and well-air-conditioned. Definitely recommended :)

The girl in the dining room was knowledgeable, helpful, polite, and friendly! As was "Plinio" himself, who occasionally came to check on us to see if everything was to our liking... A friendly and very polite person... In short, we'll definitely be back as soon as we're in the area! Congratulations!!!

20/06/2026: peanut allergies beware‼️‼️….(nothing personal against Chakra though!). i went in to sit down and check out the menu — little did i know they serve a lot of peanuts. i sat at the table (arms resting on the edge of the table) for all of 3 or so minutes before deciding to leave, and later found my wrist covered in hives. so if you have a nasty peanut allergy like me, this is not your spot!!

07/08/2026: The Google prompt "Contact the property for rates and availability" is significant, and we hadn't noticed it. We called to reserve and arrange a time. A table was available, but no pricing was discussed. The atmosphere is rustic, familiar, and pleasant. There's no menu at the table; we open the website for a preview and discover the menu is a fixed price: €65 per person for 10 courses. There are four of us; the courses are too many for a summer evening, and the price is out of our budget for a farmhouse, right? We raise the issue with the waiter (a delightful and knowledgeable young man), who discusses it with our aunt, and the only solution is to order three menus instead of four. The dishes are exquisite, authentic, well-cooked, locally sourced, and according to tradition, but it's all too much; we struggle to eat, and there's a lot left over; the amount of food and the time spent at the table make it seem like a wedding. We paid for three menus and discovered that only we and the table next to us had the €65 fixed menu; all the other tables had ordered and chosen fewer dishes and consequently paid much less. The lady at the counter told us that next time we could order à la carte, too. Bottom line: nice atmosphere, everything was good, but we felt the imposition of a €65 fixed menu was a trap we hadn't expected from a farm stay.

13/07/2026: We each had two cocktails and two shots. Everything was delicious and meticulously prepared. The location was intimate and pleasant. We were served by Vincenzo and Michelangelo, who were very attentive and courteous, remaining discreet throughout the evening. I highly recommend it!
