17/10/2025: A fantastic place for art and history lovers! 🖼️ Palazzo Pitti is a vast palace that houses a rich collection of paintings, sculptures, and artistic works from the Renaissance to the present day. The Palatina Gallery, the Medici Treasury, and the beautiful royal apartments are worth seeing. The Boboli Gardens are an interesting addition, though somewhat less attractive than the palace's interior. Full of splendor and history, this is a must-see in Florence!

15/09/2025: The most beautiful palace in Florence, along with the gardens. I went on the first Sunday of the month and admission was free. You can't leave Florence without visiting it.

21/10/2025: We had lunch at this Osteria on a Sunday in October. It's a secluded and welcoming place, the staff are polite and professional, and the food is very good. We ordered a fish parmigiana, which was good but a bit bland. We followed it with a baked grouper with citrus fruits and spinach, which was very good. It's a shame the spinach wasn't enough, and they didn't provide us with the weight of the grouper, which, given that it was fresh and weighed, should have been provided. The only downside is the excessively high bill: €90 per kilo for the fish and €20 for a glass of wine seems excessive to me.

20/10/2025: The service was genuine and warm, and they weren’t pushy to upsell. I appreciated their clear explanation of the catch of the day, including the offer to have the fish prepared in two ways: Sicilian capers and sultana stew, and homemade breadcrumbs. The fish was fresh and perfectly cooked. Kudos to the service team and chef!

13/10/2025: I've had the pleasure of eating at Partenope on several occasions, and each time I've had a great experience. The dough is excellent, easy to digest, and has a low glycemic index, and overall the pizza is delicious. They have a wide selection of both classic and gourmet pizzas at truly fair prices, a rarity these days. It's always a pleasure to return.

12/10/2025: Great restaurant. We really enjoyed our dinner there. The home made pasta with veal and the cut of beef were particularly good. Be aware of the large portions.

12/10/2025: Caffè Lacisium has everything you could wish for: a cozy atmosphere, excellent coffee, and incredibly friendly service. You feel welcome and well-cared for from the very first moment. The selection and preparation of drinks and treats is top-notch – there's a real love for detail here. Whether for a quick stop or a longer break, I always enjoy coming back. A truly feel-good place – definitely my favorite spot in Lazise!

12/10/2025: Banging pastries. Affordable and offers a wide variety of little goods. Has a little closed terrace to eat in, and to go aswell. Amazing!

10/10/2025: We'd seen good reviews of this place, and it was about 10 km from where we were staying, so we decided to go, and it was a great choice. The food was superb, the waiters were very attentive, and the prices were very reasonable. It also has parking at the entrance, which is a great bonus. I think we'll return in the few days we have left here.

07/10/2025: We were served by a very friendly waiter who also spoke excellent English. The food was good, but not great. Everything lacked seasoning.

08/09/2025: Lovely restaurant right outside of the main area of Montepulciano. The owner and his wife provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere with delicious food. As vegetarians we tried La Ribollita soup and the Cappellacci, both of which were delightful. Recommend this spot if you’re in the area looking for some good food.

16/10/2025: For some time now, whenever we spend a day in Venice, we've tried to plan a lunchtime stop here. The restaurant is also popular with locals, which means the value for money is at least fair. The menu is extensive, but it's always worth asking what's on the daily menu, which, if you arrive early, generally offers a good variety. When we visited, we opted for monkfish with potatoes. The desserts are not to be underestimated. In our case, tiramisu and cheesecake with warm berries... As I said, we stop here at least a couple of times a year and have never been disappointed.

23/10/2025: A good place on the corner where my family and I had pizza. Very quiet, very friendly owners, and good pizzas. I wouldn't say it's exceptional, but for the price, it's worth the experience; only real Italians go there.

21/09/2025: The lady who runs the counter, registers, and cleans alone will be given a halo. I hope they pay her double, since she does her best to make up for the lack of staff, and therefore works for two. There were awkward moments when, with several people waiting, and some who had already abandoned the pastry shop due to the long line, she found herself alone having to put away the cups before making coffee. Despite this, she maintained exemplary behavior, friendly and smiling despite everything. A person who appears to be the owner is wandering around, occasionally and clumsily, between phone calls, removing a few cups from the tables outside. A completely inadequate help. Given the high prices and the lack of table service, one would expect more. It's a shame, because all this does not do justice to a historic pastry shop, revived thanks in part to the heartfelt acclaim of the Trieste people, who continue to frequent it with affection. The anonymous instrumental music is a gem, sounding like a lullaby, interrupted by commercials and never resumed. At least pay for the monthly streaming service, come on.
