03/03/2026: Definitely the freshest fish, excellent cuisine, and very friendly staff. A wide selection of (expensive) wines, reasonable prices, but don't overdo the main courses (sorbet, coffee, liqueurs) that add to the bill.

24/03/2026: I was happy to find an excellent vegan sandwich; that's not a given. They were also quick, and the place is cute... But you can't force customers to order exclusively with their phones! What if I forgot it at home? What if I don't have a battery? After a week glued to my computer, I'd like to be served and pampered. Add "service" (1/2 euro?) instead, at least I can choose. If I'd been alone, I would have left...

05/01/2026: Federica pampered us with excellent service, with exquisite dishes and plating. She made us feel at home, accommodating every little wish. The chef and staff were excellent. Congratulations!
04/01/2026: The fish was really good. It's a shame we couldn't try more dishes, as we've been enjoying a great meal for a while. The only flaw was the coffee, which was made with a moka pot and arrived hot.

02/04/2026: Cute cafe that was very popular (people queuing for tables outside!). They offer a lunch menu which includes a combo of 2 dishes for 7€ or 3 for 9€. The dishes are a slightly odd mix of salads, pasta, houmous, veggies but hit the spot and such good value. There’s also main salads and vegetable burgers on the rest of the menu. We couldn’t stay for dessert but the menu looked great - cheesecake, cannoli and more!
20/03/2026: We just wanted to have a coffee and a light snack, just the two of us, and ended up paying a whopping €17.80. The Zeppelin di San Giuseppe cost €5! and tasted like nothing. We also had to pay a €2 service charge for the 10 minutes we were there, and they offered us water, which is usually free with coffee, but charged us €1 for it. The atmosphere is unfortunately very unpleasant, and we couldn't even sit outside. The cappuccino was okay, but rather below average and, at €3.50, also a bit more expensive than in nearby cafes. So, all in all, I can't recommend it.

A truly special place with unique charm! The moment you step into Caffè Pirona, you're enchanted by the aroma of traditional sweets. This confectionery, which has been in business since the beginning of the 20th century, impresses with its beautifully preserved Art Nouveau ambiance. Among the exquisite desserts, jams, canned fruits, and delectable pastries, you can feel the historical and almost literary flair. The elegant brass and cherry wood furniture makes a visit feel like a little journey into the past.

23/02/2026: Empty. We were alone. The pizza and risotto were good. The shishkebab was overcooked. Overall, not bad.
22/02/2026: We ordered two takeout pizzas (without a reservation) and the service was not only lightning-fast, but also unexpected, given that it was a Saturday night and the restaurant was fully booked. The staff was friendly, and the two Margherita pizzas weren't bad—let's just say, nothing special.

08/12/2025: A place every Italian city should have. Atmospheric, affordable, and delicious. The pizza is not large, priced at €2.00, but very tasty. Good beer is also not expensive at €2.50. I highly recommend it.

14/02/2026: Best pizza, best drinks, best people. We visited the place every single day and we simply fell in love with it. I can’t wait to be back in Rome to relive this incredible experience cause I’m really going to miss it. Shout out to Lorenzo, Luca and Roberto and all the staff for making our evenings better with their delicious cuisine, amazing drinks and most importantly good humour and kindness:)

Everything was excellent, from the owner Daniela to her staff, the food, the music, and the entire welcoming atmosphere. Thank you so much for all your hard work in making us feel at home. 28/12/2025: We were here with friends last night and left with smiles on our faces. We ate and drank quality wine and were pampered by the owner's friendliness and professionalism. What can I say? We'll definitely be back!
