26/05/2025: An experience. Panoramic venue, state dinner location, despite some too many accessories. Having been there to celebrate an important event, not only did it live up to expectations but also managed to exceed them. A standing ovation for the Sommelier, Chef and Waiting Staff, great attention to high-level wines, food and pairings, they were able to amaze the table with even daring proposals. A venue mentioned that deserves a Star, to be tried possibly in small groups and underpriced compared to its actual value.

01/06/2025: My partner and I celebrated his birthday here on April 8th. It was a perfect evening, the tasting menu (we had the full version but there is also a reduced version with a few less courses) is a succession of never banal flavors and unusual combinations, focused on the sea. Each dish is a contemporary work of art, also from an aesthetic point of view. In the dining room we were "pampered" by Beppe who made us feel at ease and explained all the dishes. Very well-stocked cellar. Compliments again to chef Perata, an authentic artist, who had the opportunity to briefly tell us the history of the restaurant, since we asked him, amazed, why it didn't have a Michelin star. He would fully deserve it. A spurcacciuna is a pampering that deserves it.

18/06/2025: Excellent conclusion for a quick visit to the Langhe. The staff is friendly and the service is attentive, with a precise explanation of the dishes. The location is splendid: we had lunch in the outdoor garden, very well-kept and pleasant. The menu offers both the possibility of choosing à la carte, and two menus - one dedicated to local specialties and one based on fish. The dishes are well executed, abundant and very tasty. The selection of desserts is also interesting, all of which are made by them. Convenient parking nearby.

01/06/2025: In the authentic heart of Dogliani, where the hills stretch out like the pages of a novel and the air smells of history and lives lived slowly, stands Il Verso del Ghiottone, a restaurant listed in the Michelin Guide, which perfectly embodies the poetry of the Piedmontese table. The cuisine is a hymn to the balance between tradition and creativity. The appetizers surprise with harmony and originality, such as the “arancinetta allo zafferano su crema di ceci e polvere di olive nere”, refined and enveloping, and the battuta di fassona, embellished with a crunchy wafer with Grana and caramelized onion, which gives depth and freshness to every bite. The first course, the classic tagliarini with white sausage ragù, conquers for the delicacy of the handmade dough and the savoury intensity of the seasoning. The second course, a boneless rabbit breast, stuffed with sausage and vegetables, is a true gastronomic narration: precise, balanced, respectful of peasant memory but with a modern touch. The dessert is a caress: the chocolate brittle with cream ice cream and chopped hazelnuts is pure poetry at the end, a cuddle that stays in the heart and on the palate. The selection of wines is excellent, in particular the Dogliani DOCG 2023 “Papà Celso” from the Azienda Agricola Abbona, which was able to accompany the meal with depth and character, telling the soul of the Langa in the glass. The service was impeccable: fast, courteous and never intrusive, capable of making you feel welcomed without rushing. The kindness of Luca and Vittoria, as well as the refined company of Francesco and Valentina Rulfi, made the experience even brighter. A round of applause also for the cleanliness of the premises, with particular mention for the tidy and well-kept bathroom, a detail often overlooked, but here synonymous with attention and respect. In short, Il Verso del Ghiottone is not just a restaurant: it is a place of the soul, where time slows down and each course tells a story. An unmissable stop for those seeking the true essence of gastronomic Piedmont, between beauty, taste and authenticity.

04/05/2025: Siamo andati a pranzo perché venivamo da Ravenna per visitare Asolo (bellissimo borgo), in occasione di un anniversario. Ci siamo trovati bene. Il posto forse andrebbe rinnovato perché la cucina proposta non è molto coerente con l'ambiente, che risulta comunque molto gradevole e accogliente. Abbiamo speso il giusto per gustare pietanze piene di sapore e impiattate con cura e servite da personale attento e gentile. Probabilmente, causa la distanza, non riusciremo a tornare a breve, ma, vista la bella esperienza lo consigliamo.

12/06/2025: Had an amazing cappuccino - best so far during my time in Milan. They have other coffee roasts and seem to be one of the few specialty shops in Milan. The service was ok- the barista wasn’t too friendly

11/05/2025: Over the last 15 years, Civitavecchia has significantly improved, especially in its seafront restaurant offering, giving us real gems that have become a source of attraction for local and non-local Movida on these splendid spring evenings. In this context, the CAPRASECCA Restaurant stands out! In particular if you want (when available) a SPAGHETTO WITH SEA URCHIN which will surely make you come back.... well... try it and we will probably be table neighbors.... PS: EXCELLENT AND FRIENDLY SERVICE

03/05/2025: Venerdì 2 Maggio con una coppia di amici siamo partiti da Orbetello per andare a provare questo locale a Civitavecchia , consigliatomi da molte persone. Che dire , tavoli sul lungomare, una piacevole brezza e pietanze ottime ed abbondanti . Personale gentile e disponibile nell’illustrarci e consigliare i vari piatti . Ho provato una specialità del posto, tagliolini polpo e pecorino , eccellenti e super scarpetta . Gli altri antipasti misti di pesce e dopo un pescione al forno per tutti. Buon vino e buon caffè, non sempre scontato. Conto assolutamente onesto , ci rivedranno presto . Emilio

18/06/2025: My friends and I came here after a cooking class at Carlo V and we had a TIME. The staff is so accommodating and friendly. I was taking care of a beloved friend who had a bit too much to drink and left my souvenir bag and they held it for me❣️🥰 10/10 would recommend. The wings were crispy, the personnel were attentive and prices were more than reasonable. You will NOT be disappointed

17/06/2025: This place was amazing literally found it on google last minute. Food was great hookah was bussin and mehedi the owner was soo attentive and delivered great service will be returning very soon!

23/06/2025: Didn’t even try the food, I believe it’s good no doubt. But the atmosphere from the waiters, to be specific the tall skinny dude with glasses. That dude got mad because I lifted my hand when I called him, and asked him to come so I can ask him face to face something about the menu. He didn’t came even tho he looked at me, and crossed our table couple of times. No response, then the other waiter came a girl and was nice. But me and my girl didn’t like the emptiness inside and weird energy we got so we got up and left. Didn’t order anything, just looked at the menu for 10/15min inside. Then when we got up to leave. That dude, called up on me while we were leaving and said stuff like, where are you going, you looked at the menu outside, why did you even sit. Then when I started explaining myself with literally one sentence. He interrupted me and said why do you lift your hand when you call me. Bro like mind your business … then he started to be even louder and told me people are waiting outside to sit inside. Just to clarify the room we were inside had 4 more tables with nobody sitting, also other rooms with free tables. Outside the restaurant maybe 8/12 people were waiting, but they were waiting to sit outside… Id very much like that dude to mind his own business and act like a waiter who needs to sell the italian story and be polite. I hope the owner reeds this.

21/06/2025: It was the jazz music that drew us into this restaurant. And it was a great idea! The interior is cozy, with a few tables, and the staff is adorable. We can't even mention the menu. We LOVED IT! A truffle pasta dish—how can I put it? Delicious! One of the best Parmigiano cheeses we've ever eaten. That's saying something. Everything is refined, flavorful, and delicate. We finished with a deconstructed but incredible Canolo (Sicilian dessert). In short, a wonderful evening 😋

11/05/2025: Very fresh and well cooked fish! But it's not enough! There is a deafening noise in the room that caused me a strong headache with nausea, ruining my lunch! I saw people who, like me, covered their ears! I think that applying sound-absorbing panels is not a big investment, but it would make the environment livable and pleasant!

07/05/2025: Ottima serata.. Locale tranquillo , proprietaria e cameriera gentilissime , servizio veloce , è stata la prima volta che ho mangiato da Pippo a Cesenatico e sono rimasto contentissimo. Prezzi onesti e quantità giusta .. siamo stati veramente bene . Ci si ritornerà molto volentieri.
