23/10/2025: The restaurant is found upon entering through Porta Trapani. At the door, a kind gentleman provides information on the complicated parking procedures (only one parking spot works with cards and debit cards). Gratefully, we decide to go in. Friendly staff, delicious arancini al burro, and a delicious Genovese for dessert. Fair prices.

The overall experience was decent, with some positive aspects and others that I think could be improved. What I liked - Convenient location: The bar is located in a busy area, easy to get to, and has nearby parking. Perfect if you're in a hurry or live in the neighborhood. - Large, bright spaces: The interior is larger than it appears from the outside, with well-spaced tables and a simple yet functional atmosphere. - Good coffee: I had an espresso and found it well-extracted, with a consistent crema and no bitter aftertaste. - Quick service: Despite the crowds, I was served quickly, which I really appreciate when I'm in a rush. What could be improved - A somewhat distant welcome: The staff was polite but not particularly warm. No rudeness, mind you, but a little extra attention to the customer would really make a difference. - Average pastries: I had a cream brioche, which was good but not memorable. I would have liked something fresher or more varied. - Slightly anonymous atmosphere: the place is clean and tidy, but lacks a personal touch that makes it truly distinctive or recognizable compared to other bars in the area. In summary Big Bar is a practical, quick, and reliable place for breakfast or a coffee during the day. I didn't find anything particularly negative, but neither did anything that really set it apart. It's one of those places that "does its job," with no surprises, either positive or negative. If you're looking for a comfortable, no-frills café, it's fine. If you're looking for a more refined experience or a high-quality pastry shop, it might not be the right place.

15/03/2026: A small restaurant located in the center of Cefalù, with very helpful, attentive, and welcoming staff. We tried the Sicilian octopus salad and eggplant caponata as appetizers: good, though not particularly generous. The house "Al Carretto" first course was decidedly more generous, with mussels, tomatoes, and seasonal vegetables: a tasty and successful combination. Prices are in line with the average for Cefalù restaurants. Highly recommended!

10/12/2025: This café exudes a hipster and artistic vibe. You'll feel creative even before you take your first sip of coffee. There are beautiful details everywhere, lots of plants and books, and it's clear that a lot of care has gone into it. The stracciatella gelato is absolutely the best. The coffee is delicious and strong, just like my girlfriend's reasoning for spending our holiday in Italy. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and I felt completely pampered. I highly recommend this café, as it's the best coffee I've had on this holiday.

29/12/2025: After a long walk, frankly arriving in a place like this is really great, an atmosphere that my wife and I really like, good music, little appetizer platters to whet your appetite with your drink, a very good place where the mulled wine is very good.

07/01/2026: An unexpected discovery! Right across from the famous pizzeria Da Michele, we were looking for a good pizza a portafoglio and, almost by chance, stumbled upon this pizzeria. Don't be fooled by the seemingly touristy appearance: we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the ingredients and the deliciousness of the pizza. The owner, truly friendly and welcoming, made the experience even more enjoyable. Next time we return to Naples, instead of waiting hours in line at a famous pizzeria, we'll definitely come here!

15/03/2026: Exquisite coffee with incredible river views. It's located right below one of the most beautiful buildings along the entire riverfront promenade.

14/03/2026: A very pleasant, classic café by the river. Good prices, delicious coffee and sweets. Friendly service. You can also sit outside, weather permitting. It's worth noting that this is the third oldest café in Italy! Inside, there are many old newspaper clippings and even a very old receipt. I recommend it.
