01/03/2026: We chose La Solita Zuppa restaurant in the historic center of Chiusi, drawn by the excellent reviews, and we can say that our expectations were fully met. I highly recommend making a reservation: the restaurant filled up quickly, and without a reservation you risk being disappointed. We were greeted with great warmth and escorted to our table in a well-kept, clean environment with attention to detail, even in the table setting. The service was impeccable: the waitress immediately offered water and clearly explained how to consult the menu via QR code. We chose traditional dishes: pici, soup, and a truly delicious osso buco. Everything was perfect, beautifully presented, and above all, delicious. The coffee was also splendid, served alongside homemade sweets, a selection of sugars, and chocolates: an elegant and much-appreciated finishing touch. A truly perfect choice. Congratulations and thanks to all the staff!

20/02/2026: We are group of four went to the La Solitaire Zappa on Saturday 14th February. As soon as entering, we were welcomed by the staff and the owner. Being so patient and enthusiastic about food, the owner explained everything that we ought to know before ordering our meals. I felt like we had entered a food museum with so many things that we’ve learned about food in Tuscany. The menu includes so many choices, and eventually we ordered fried artichokes, cold meats, pasta with truffles, stewed beef cheeks with grape leaves and more, plus a bottle of 15 years old wine. All dishes came with beautiful presentations and tasted delicious; the service was prompt and professional; the price was reasonable… We left the restaurant with complete satisfaction, and would love to go back again soon.

15/02/2026: Great selection of pastries. I had a cappuccino and a cream brioche, and everything was delicious and reasonably priced. The only downside: there are only 3 or 4 tables inside, so you might end up sitting outside when it's cold. Recommended for a quick breakfast.

15/03/2026: Historic restaurant in the heart of Lucca, with a warm, elegant, and personal atmosphere. Very friendly and professional staff. We had lunch from the à la carte menu and chose all seafood. Recommended.

15/03/2026: We dined here last night. The service was friendly, attentive, and very customer-focused from the start. The dishes were not only meticulously prepared, but also delicious (the triple-cooked pigeon, which I'd never eaten before, was a pleasant surprise for me). In addition to the main dining room, they also have other rooms that offer more privacy, and an outdoor space for the summer. They were very kind in showing us the wine cellar. Overall, an excellent experience.

It's rare to find such a perfect balance between aesthetics and flavor. The staff is quick, friendly, and professional. If you're looking for the best in town, there's no doubt: this is the place to go. Highly recommended!
