18/08/2026: We ate wonderfully, everything was cooked to perfection, the staff was extremely friendly, the menu was extensive, and the atmosphere was very charming with soft lighting and music! We even got a discount by booking with the "The Fork" app. I 100% recommend it!

05/08/2026: Lunch at A Maddia wasn't just a culinary experience; it was a truly cultural experience, one of knowledge and passion. Salvo welcomed us to his restaurant and immediately overwhelmed us with his mission: to raise awareness of what nourishes us, of how every choice we make impacts our well-being and our land. The choice of a blackboard menu, because we see the paper one year-round, of a few selected dishes to bring only local and seasonal products to the table, according to the imagination of the chef, Salvo himself. We began with rustic antipasti, an explosion of flavors from vegetables like caponata, with capers picked by him, memorable. The other vegetables and onions, or the tartare on a bed of zucchini with lemon zest, were also memorable. The journey continued with a sampling of two first courses; it was difficult to choose. For me, the spaghetti "alla povera" was iconic, which was anything but humble. From the pasta made with ancient grains to this reinterpreted garlic and oil dish with a cream of Avola almonds and garlic croutons, sublime in its simplicity and richness of ingredients. His spaghetti with prawns and oranges was delicious, exuding a delicate sweetness that was unforgettable. We concluded by sharing the three-flavor involtini, veal rolls with an intense flavor, melt-in-the-mouth tenderness. And the star of the show was the Nebrodi black pig, a pork like this that is hard to forget. Salvo then showed us the rest of the restaurant, housed in a tunnel dug 8 meters underground by the Greeks, a truly evocative place. We also appreciated the oregano, thyme, and capers he grew and harvested, which released an intensity I'd never experienced before. By far one of the best restaurants I've ever tried. A heartfelt thank you to Salvo for his hospitality and passion. It was a memorable and inspiring experience.

14/08/2026: I went for dinner with some friends, discovering the place through The Fork. Serena, a very nice and professional young woman, waited on us and served us, despite our delay. She was able to advise us with passion, taking our tastes into account and pairing us with a good wine. The food was delicious! Compliments to the chef! We'll be back!

26/07/2026: My husband and I went last night to try the food while choosing a restaurant for my graduation party. If I could give more stars, I would. The staff is always smiling and disarmingly kind. It's an elegant and chic restaurant. The food doesn't have a single negative note, from the bread and focaccia to the dessert. Everything is noteworthy. Familiar dishes revisited with new and winning flavors. This is one of those restaurants you absolutely have to try. It will definitely become a place I'll return to whenever I want to impress someone. The wait times and prices are absolutely fair. A little gem in Turin. Well done!

22/08/2026: We wanted to treat ourselves to something special on our last evening of vacation and were unfortunately disappointed. There were only three main courses on the menu, and the fourth, a daily special, was already sold out due to the restaurant's low occupancy. My husband's starter was a bitter disappointment—canned anchovies instead of freshly prepared (at that price!). My starter tasted good, but it was an enormous portion in the soup bowl. For our main courses, we both had homemade pasta with a bland sauce and low-quality, tasteless truffle. The service made a lot of noise beforehand, but then essentially nonexistent. The potential was there, given the guest-to-staff ratio. We had to refill our own wine glasses. Other drinks were only served after we actively asked for them, and even then, only after a considerable delay. The restaurant's ambiance offered us a wonderful view of cobwebs and dusty digestif glasses. In summary, the prices were very high for the service and quality offered. The response to our review perfectly reflects the feeling and experience we had during our stay. Careless with a touch of arrogance.

13/08/2026: We took the recommendation for the daily special starter which was ravioli filled with beef shoulder with black truffles and it was heavenly. We of course had their famed beef tartare and it did not disappoint.

18/06/2026: We were served by Saeed and greeted by his colleague. A very friendly and smiling waiter. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, and the service was quick. The food was very good with a magnificent view of the Colosseum. I highly recommend it! 👍🏻

15/08/2026: A small shop with majestic flavors. Authentic Roman paninis made with top-quality ingredients, prepared fresh to order and customized to the customer's taste. Prices are based on the weight of each ingredient. The owners are incredibly friendly and fun. A must-visit in the city.

06/12/2025: It's now our regular stop, especially after summer motorcycle rides when we can't wait to cool off. Come rain, shine, or winter, we always come here for some excellent ice cream. The new flavors I offer are always amazing and very unique.
