17/03/2024: Yesterday for a quick dinner, we opted for this Irish-style pub, we hadn't been there for a while and although the welcome was more than friendly, it left a bit of a bad taste in my mouth. The place is small, so I recommend booking if you want to find a free table, the atmosphere is intimate with soft lights, but otherwise it didn't excite me as much as I would have liked. Being small environments, the tables are very close to each other, if they start to fill up, the environment becomes a bit chaotic and it is difficult to talk to each other.....it fits in a pub but it seemed to me it lacked a soul, perhaps because I was in Ireland recently and frequented some typical venues there, where as soon as you entered you immediately found the warmth of the live music and the people... it's difficult to reproduce all of this in its entirety in Italy. For the rest the food was normal, my husband had a club and a beer which he really appreciated, I had a savory crepes with vegetables which I thought was a bit bland. Warned by the waitress that we would have to wait for the crêpe, because they had many take-away orders, we tried to kill the wait with some fried potatoes. I was a little annoyed by the reason for the wait, because in any case at 7.30pm there weren't many occupied tables yet and I thought they were giving priority to on-site orders, but in their favor I must say that they tried to speed up delivery to the table. We then finished with one of their desserts. Low prices, we didn't spend more than €20 each.

Impeccable, fast and courteous service, like a starred restaurant. Ample parking. Clean and well-kept place. Modest price. Compliments. Make a reservation because it is always full.

17/03/2024: Well cooked food... Price a little above average... Environment with disastrous acoustics... I was unable to converse as there was an annoying reverberation of voices... A sound-absorbing system would be enough...

05/04/2024: We had dinner in the room where you sit on the floor and eat with your hands. Everything was delicious, a special and fun experience. Correct price (around 25 euros each for starter, main course, dessert and water). Very kind staff, especially compliments to Anita for the excellent service.

07/04/2024: Guided tour of the ''Picasso, the metamorphosis of the figure'' exhibition at the Mudec in Milan. Very interesting exhibition that highlights Picasso's profound interest and the assimilation of different African cultures and proto-Iberian art into his work.

18/02/2024: My family and I had a Sunday lunch at this Romagna cuisine restaurant. The environment is rustic and welcoming, typical of a trattoria. We ordered a mixed starter of crostini. The variety was good, but we weren't particularly impressed with the flavor. For the first courses, we chose tagliatelle with ragù and gnez (homemade pasta made from polenta) with beans. The noodles were good. The gnez, however, were a little too salty and the bean cream covered the flavor of the pasta. For second courses, we had some cuts and grilled meat. The meat was good and the grilled portion was generous. To accompany the second courses, we ordered dip, gratin and grilled vegetables. The service was fast and efficient. Maybe a little too "present" and pressing in wanting to clear the dishes. Prices are normal for a restaurant that offers Romagna cuisine. If you are looking for a restaurant serving Romagna cuisine with a rustic and welcoming atmosphere, this place is a good choice.

09/03/2024: We stopped today for lunch, very kind young staff, fast and what was very important for us they had an extensive VEG menu, something absolutely not to be taken for granted in a refuge, I thank you so much and I hope that many people take example from places like these. We had the Frico with polenta and cjascon (I don't know if I wrote it right😝), we wanted to try a typical lunch and we were very satisfied. Very honest prices. First time in Carnia, but we will be back and this will be one of our places!

06/04/2024: family dinner during our holiday in Florence. We tried and above all enjoyed the true cuisine of the Florentine tradition. The pasta with white truffle is excellent and the "classic" Fiorentina is sublime. Simply perfect size and cooking of the meat. Specifically, not being Florentines, we really appreciated the way in which the very nice and super professional ilham explained to us the various cuts, weights and cooking methods of "Fiorentina".
