04/02/2025: Going up the Stella river from its mouth on the Marano lagoon to reach the "restaurant at the Stella river" through its fresh and clear waters fed by the resurgences of middle Friuli is always a great joy. It's a bit like landing in a "safe port", you savor the pleasure of the welcome and notice that every rhythm is slow. Wide and very interesting proposals, Raw food: from shellfish, oysters and everything the market offers day by day. The first courses: all delicious with Maltese and Mediterranean influences. The latter proposed in the local and/or international versions are a triumph. The wine list is rich and complete. To try, letting yourself be enchanted by the lanterns lit at dusk, by the slow flow of the water.

La sala da pranzo è arredata con gusto e a tavola non mancano dettagli che fanno la differenza. Grande ospitalità, servizio curato , piatti gustosi e sapientemente preparati . 28/03/2025: After many positive experiences of staying at the hotel, I can say with certainty that it has become my second home for summer and especially winter holidays. Impeccable services, very nice and clean rooms, wellness, comfortable ski room (with access to the Gardenaccia slopes) and really excellent food and always available staff. Compliments to Francesca, Manfred and all the staff!

25/03/2025: So terrible experience out of the way place then difficult parking as soon as we arrived outside people let's say white and campari they gave us a shaky table ok smelly curtains cobwebs on the walls ba they bring us a cutting board for 2 salad to go go salami 3 slices 4 pieces of cheese I order donkey bruscitttt they aren't there they bring me the horse ones I order polenta they don't make it bo they bring me 4 potatoes crosswise which fits the crock and chipped I drink water price 37 euros seems very expensive to me you have disappointed me never again. Goodbye

09/03/2025: Excellent restaurant, located in front of an ancient tower. It offers a well-kept environment with a quiet and romantic atmosphere. The food is delicious and well prepared, even aesthetically. The staff is friendly and always attentive to customers. On the occasion of the tasting of wines from the Librandi winery, the menu proposed was excellent and balanced.

25/03/2025: I have been twice, many years apart, in rooms I have never been to, but I have noticed that they are well presented. The restaurant has a beautiful view of the lake and the Lucrino sea, a well-ventilated place with different levels. Excellent welcome, optimal and professional service and delicious dishes, from appetizers, to first and second courses, up to fruit, sweet and bitter. A day spent at their restaurant will remain a very pleasant memory imprinted in the mind, I would say that the same is true for an overnight stay in their hotel. I spoke personally with the managers and they are exquisite, kind and easy-going people. I recommend it, not just three stars, I would give it four. I was there the last time on March 22, 2025, to celebrate the first year together with my girlfriend and it was beautiful. A place suitable for couples, friends, relatives and much more. P.S. The waiters of another restaurant should take an example from the waiters of "Il Gabbiano".

23/03/2025: We had our wedding and it was an exceptional experience. The restaurant offered refined cuisine, with creative dishes and fresh ingredients, which won over all the guests. The service was impeccable, with attentive and professional staff who made every moment special. The panoramic view of the restaurant added a romantic touch to the atmosphere. I highly recommend choosing this restaurant and relying on Daniela and Alessandra and not to mention the director Giovanni who is number one and I thank all the staff.

16/03/2025: Lovely bar, Omar (the owner) is magical. Always a smile and a lot of courtesy. They have a truly sophisticated wine cellar, it is now our favorite place to drink WELL in company. The cute girls. If you pass via Paglia you can't help but stop!

02/03/2025: It could easily be in my TOP TEN restaurants, considering that I eat out almost every day for work. We went to this restaurant for a business dinner. Considering that we stressed them with our requests (1 celiac, 1 vegetarian, 1 halal) they still welcomed everything with great kindness. The place is beautiful, elegant with an open kitchen. They have tasting menus available or not. We also took quite important wines, appetizers, first courses, second courses and desserts: ALL EXCELLENT. But the best thing is definitely the SERVICE. Gigi served us the whole time (I think, sorry if I don't remember) and he was really helpful and kind! Speaking to me in Italian and to my colleagues in English. All of this for a truly excellent price for quality/price ratio. I can't wait to go back!! I almost forgot: No problem for GLUTEN FREE and VEGETARIAN

05/03/2025: Although my journey was adapted to particular needs (no gluten, no dairy products, no sugar, no nightshades), the experience was fun and very enjoyable. Special thanks therefore go to all the staff who welcomed and satisfied my requests. The monkfish is, hands down, the dish that moved me the most: perfect in consistency and in the play of acidity, smokiness and flavor. I found, in general, everything extremely balanced and without unnecessary virtuosity. I appreciated the simplicity of the final taste, the result of processes that were anything but simple. The only observation I can make as a restaurateur is that perhaps I would have managed the final moment dedicated to desserts better. Since the latter was excluded from my itinerary (but not from the final bill), a little attention at the discretion of the staff/owner would have been very welcome.
