We discovered this place by chance. From the outside, it didn't look very inviting, but we decided to go in anyway. And it was absolutely fantastic. The owner, chef, and server were all incredibly friendly. The food was amazing. We highly recommend this restaurant as a real hidden gem.

Truly generous portions of Roman first courses, wood-fired pizza, and a very quaint venue, perfect for soaking up the Garbatella atmosphere. Prices are incredibly affordable, almost pre-Covid, which is rare these days. Special thanks to Angelo, who was very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended!

The atmosphere is homey and very pleasant; the food is excellent (especially the falafel), and the owner is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The blend of Roman and Eastern cuisine is highly appreciated. Definitely a recommended place.

This is a true Roman osteria. Excellent food and a great atmosphere. The fact that they also offer traditional Arabic dishes is a welcome bonus. The falafel are delicious. The staff is very kind and friendly.

Cardinal Lounge Restaurant

14/05/2026: We went to this restaurant on the recommendation of the agriturismo where we were staying. It's a truly welcoming, unique place. Luisa, incredibly kind and friendly, welcomed us and gave us excellent advice. We ate wonderfully, with generous portions in a truly welcoming atmosphere with lovely music that wasn't distracting—quite the opposite! We highly recommend it! Well done!
