A truly enjoyable dinner! The appetizers and main courses were huge and delicious. The homemade falafel were special! The service was also very friendly and helpful.

Angelo is the best and makes you feel right at home. I could highlight the delicious pizza, clams, or fried anchovies, but I'd like to focus on the incredible quality of this restaurant's falafel. 10/10. The outdoor seating is adorable. A real, authentic place, no unnecessary Instagram-worthy frills, just honesty and quality, no unnecessary frills. We'll definitely be back. And you should go too.

We stumbled upon this neighborhood restaurant quite by chance, and it was a very pleasant surprise. We dined in a lovely little shaded courtyard, the fish was fresh and perfectly cooked, the portions were very generous, and the service was impeccable. We especially loved the falafels—the best in Rome!

I had a delicious fillet steak. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. The pizza is thin, cooked in a wood-fired oven, and it's delicious. I highly recommend it to anyone passing through Garbatella.

This evening at Angelo's we had mixed grilled vegetables, sautéed chicory, tomato bruschetta, and supplì. Fresh out of the wood-fired oven, they taste so good I can't even begin to describe them. You absolutely have to come to Angelo's and try them. Delicious. The only downside is that I couldn't finish them all, so I'll make the sacrifice tomorrow too. Thank goodness 😍😍😍

We had a very nice experience at this restaurant. It has an authentic atmosphere, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. We also appreciated the complimentary limoncello at the end of our meal. We would recommend this place if you’re looking for authentic food and kind service!

I was here a few nights ago and had a wonderful meal! I was intrigued by the reviews praising the falafel made at a trattoria in Garbatella. But PotPourri isn't just any trattoria; it's a bridge between Rome and North Africa. Owner Angelo was born here in Rome, but his father, an Egyptian, opened the restaurant several years ago. A few years ago, his son, who grew up here, took over the reins and continues to run the restaurant with an excellent blend of Egyptian and Roman cuisine. The menu offers a variety of dishes (from falafel to various types of couscous) that allow you to feel like you're in Cairo while still being in Rome! Angelo is a wonderful host and immediately makes you feel at ease: as soon as I ordered, he brought me a wood-fired focaccia and a half-liter of wine to while away the wait. The falafel (€1.50 each) were delicious, superbly spiced, and, above all, gigantic! As an appetizer, I also had some Ascoli olives (€4), which were quite good. I continued with a gricia (€10), which was really good and filling. I would have had dessert, but I was really full, so I finished with a glass of limoncello. In total, I spent €25 and ate very well and abundantly. I will definitely be back!

A very good experience. We let the restaurant owner prepare his own dishes for us: a starter (soup, charcuterie, falafel), a main course (homemade mussels), and lemon ice cream to finish. A very family-friendly restaurant, well worth discovering.
