11/06/2026: Waited about 20 mins, didn't want to believe the hype and wanted to post a mediocre review, but I cannot. Best sandwich we had in 2 weeks in the country by far. Great service and chit chat while they made your sandwich. The focaccia is amazing. Porchetta melts in your mouth. Pecorino and pesto is a great combo and straciatella and sun-dried tomatoes is too. Damn, I want to get back in line.

11/06/2026: Even though communication was difficult due to my limited English and Italian, they kindly helped and explained everything to me! I was impressed by the service, and then I was impressed once again by the food when I received and ate my sandwich. It is the most delicious sandwich I have ever had!! I ordered mozzarella cheese, pesto, sun-dried tomatoes, and ham, and it came out to 11 euros. The bread is lightly toasted, so it is warm, crispy, and delicious when eaten immediately after it is served. It is also quite large, so if you are looking for a quick bite, I think it would be good to buy one and share it between two people. If I go back to Rome, I will definitely stop by again!

29/03/2026: Excellent Australian-style restaurant, ideal for those who want to try meats from around the world (especially kangaroo), cooked with great care. I recommend the "mixed pinwheel" for two: about 700 grams of meat that allows you to try different cuts, all very flavorful and lean (pork, buffalo burger, kangaroo fillet, and Polish Masurian cube roll). The dish is accompanied by grilled vegetables and baked potatoes, as pictured. The homemade desserts are also excellent, truly delicious and carefully crafted, perfect for ending the meal. Prices are average. Reservations recommended.

02/06/2026: The Vongole and seafood pasta are delicious! The fahta I had yesterday was good too, but I was shocked because this place is even better. The seafood pasta is tasty because it has a lot of seafood and each piece has a different texture, and the Vongole is savory as well… The staff are super friendly and the food is delicious. There are a lot of Koreans here, and it suits the Korean palate!! lol

28/05/2026: Although we stopped by late after the tour, they treated us kindly, and the quality of the food was excellent. The female server was very friendly and cheerful, making for a pleasant dining experience. They even gave us a glass of lemoncello each.

31/05/2026: Passing through Lovere Exceptional lakeside restaurant, young, friendly, and professional staff The food is divine, local cuisine revisited by an excellent chef. The appetizers, first courses, and second courses are top-notch, the table setting is simple, and the wine list is excellent. I recommend it.

10/05/2026: A wonderful surprise: the owner's wife is in the kitchen, but don't expect the typical "family" management style; that's what you get when you chat, while the dishes we tried were all above average and quite original and sophisticated. Compliments to the chef!

It lets the natural flavors of the seafood shine beautifully. I also took their wine recommendation, and it paired wonderfully with the meal. 08/06/2026: First time on Mount Zoncolan, we spent pleasant hours at the Tamai refuge, not only for the hospitality and attentive service, but above all for the excellent dishes we enjoyed.

07/06/2026: I must say that this refuge exceeds all expectations, both in terms of its kindness and the quality and care of its dishes. The presentation of the dishes is also meticulously crafted! We ate cured meats and cheeses with giardiniera, made with local vegetables, which is exceptional. The homemade cjarcions are exquisite, and to finish, there is a unique selection of desserts. The kitchen staff is excellent!!

01/05/2026: A nice, tidy little restaurant, although some details are a bit kitsch (the stuffed bunnies hanging from the ceiling are decidedly ugly). The welcome was very positive: smiling and helpful staff, especially a brunette with glasses who was truly professional, kind, and attentive. Less convincing was an older, blonde waitress, who was a bit awkward and at times under-prepared. Very fast service: we ordered in 5 minutes, and after 10-15 minutes the appetizers arrived (the zucchini flowers, which were not on the menu, were delicious, and a truly remarkable guinea fowl salad). Shortly after, the bigoli and stuffed rabbit were served, both excellent. Exquisite cuisine, perfect timing, and overall good service. A wonderful discovery!

02/06/2026: A restaurant in the countryside between Piacenza and Parma, a well-deserved former Michelin star. The previous management, due to age reasons, has changed. The menu is now less traditional, but the reinterpretation of the dishes isn't groundbreaking. The dining room and kitchen are both young, with a female chef—not the youngest, but certainly talented! The wine list is decent, but I can't comment on the quality/price ratio because I dined off the pre-determined menu.

09/06/2026: We ate very well! The menu is select, but you can feel the idea behind it. Excellent selection for vegetarians/vegans. The staff was very kind and friendly, and they really turned our evening around. They also handled an unexpected situation caused by other customers very well. The atmosphere is welcoming, with the option of eating sitting on the floor with your hands, as is traditional. Reasonable prices. I recommend it.

Every dish I’ve tried has been top-tier. ​On a recent visit, I had the pleasure of speaking with the owner. We bonded over our shared appreciation for authentic Ethiopian cuisine, and he kindly offered to host my friends and me for a special, authentic African dinner. We were treated to a selection of off-menu specialties, including a fantastic Doro Wat and various traditional Ethiopian and Eritrean stews, alongside some of the delicious starters from their regular menu. ​The service was charming and incredibly attentive. Our waitress was wonderful; she took the time to explain every dish and its ingredients in great detail, which really added to the experience. ​This place has become our go-to spot for dinner. Each visit brings back fond memories of my travels in Africa. Beyond the incredible flavors, the restaurant is exceptionally clean and maintains a very high standard of quality. If you are looking for an authentic, high-quality meal served with genuine hospitality, look no further.
