Fantastic service! We only called 5 minutes beforehand to let them know we were coming, and everything was already prepared (gluten-free). All the staff were very competent and friendly. The food tasted great, arrived quickly, and at the perfect temperature. A wonderful experience!

The food was good and the wines too, but the atmosphere felt a bit flat and was somewhat disappointing. We had two different servers. A woman, who came across as rather distant and seemed unenthusiastic. This was confirmed when she poured the last drop from a bottle of red wine, including the sediment. Her male colleague, however, was very friendly and the complete opposite. All in all, okay.

We went to Nives restaurant after being recommended their cuisine as sophisticated and refined at a fair price. We were a group of four friends and made a last-minute reservation, arriving at 9:00 PM. Upon arrival, they let us leave our jackets in the cloakroom and then escorted us to a table in a small, private room. The food was excellent, with refined selections in the plating and quality ingredients. On behalf of myself and my friends, I would like to thank the very friendly and attentive wait staff, and I thank Cristian and Manuel for their kindness and their calm and cordial manner. We hope to return soon and meet the very kind waiters again.

A must-visit if you are in Val Gardena, especially in Selva. Restaurant Nives is the perfect place to enjoy one of the best cheese fondues in the area — truly outstanding. The restaurant is very welcoming, with a mountain style reinterpreted in a modern way, elegant yet warm at the same time. The wine list is excellent and extensive, capable of satisfying even the most demanding palates. The service is attentive, professional, and detail-oriented. Definitely a restaurant worth visiting — and returning to.

The staff makes you feel genuinely at home, with a familiar and heartfelt approach while remaining impeccably attentive and professional. Service feels personal without ever being intrusive. The wine cellar is outstanding, carefully curated and rich in excellent labels that beautifully complement the cuisine. And the highlight? The best cheese fondue I have ever had. Crafted with a bespoke blend of cheeses created specifically for the restaurant, it was perfectly balanced, rich, and unforgettable. A place where elegance meets authenticity — highly recommended if you are in Val Gardena.

The food was perfect, and the service was even better 👌just one thing to remind, the tv room is too close to the Restaurant, and it gets annoying when people watching shout loud.

Very enjoyable dinner with good service and food Not cheap but definitely worth an evening dinner treat if staying in Selva. Dining room is very warm and inviting, our waitress was attentive and knowledgeable. Food was very good - particularly black cod, and a fantastic orange and tangerine mousse. My only critique would be that the 1kg ribeye steak we ordered for 3 of us contained a lot of bone and fat. The meat itself was really tasty and cooked perfectly but for €150 I would have expected more quantity.

Fantastic chateaubriand ( served sizzling on a hot slate so you can cook it a bit more if you like) and Rocher dessert. Great service too. Budget and vegetarian options are also available, onion soup is good!
