15/03/2026: Spacious and welcoming rooms with a lovely balcony. Small but very nice spa, perfect indoor pool. Super breakfast! Too bad the receptionist accused us of swearing and complaining about lunch, saying "we're not used to having people like that," when we weren't complaining at all; in fact, we weren't swearing. Too bad!

15/03/2026: It was a truly wonderful experience, to say the least. It was my second time at this wonderful property... The service, rooms, food, and staff were wonderful. A special shout-out goes to ALEX, BRUNO, LILY, and especially FERYEL, who looked after us throughout our entire vacation. I highly recommend trying this place; you'll undoubtedly be satisfied.

28/12/2025: We stopped by for an afternoon merenda and enjoyed dessert with coffee. The staff was genuinely friendly and welcoming. I ordered the mousse alle castagne, which was really good and perfectly suited for a cozy afternoon treat. The atmosphere can get a bit noisy, but it didn’t take away from the experience. We still enjoyed our time there.

01/01/2026: We regularly spend New Year's Eve in Burgeis and always at Restaurant Gerda. We love it there! The food is excellent and the service is very friendly and perfect! Our New Year's Eve menu yesterday was also perfect! Many thanks to the entire team, whom we are always happy to see again!

12/12/2025: A very cozy restaurant with lots of local and, above all, homemade food. The service was very friendly and very prompt. I can only confirm all of this after my second visit. The Bäckli (baked dumplings) were very good and very tender. The dumplings were prepared with lots of love. The coleslaw with bacon is also highly recommended. And the homemade apple strudel was amazing.

09/03/2026: We've been coming to Watles to ski for 17 years; our children learned to ski there, and the Plantapasch Hut has always been a favorite spot. Good food, friendly staff, nice atmosphere... This year, however, we were treated so rudely by the head waitress; I've never experienced anything like it. She treats her staff terribly, too. It's just embarrassing when the waitress, who was very friendly, is yelled at like that by her boss in front of us. The waitress said it's like this every day, and thankfully the season is almost over. I don't want to experience anything like that on holiday; it's a real shame.

25/02/2026: We were guests for almost 15 years, but from now on we will avoid the Platapatsch Hut. Waiting times of 30 to 60 minutes for service are normal. In addition, only one person takes orders. This woman is extremely unfriendly and insulted us when we pointed out the long wait times. Since the change from self-service to table service, the quality has declined in all areas. The service is abysmal. Furthermore, they consistently only issue a card reader receipt, never a physical one. This regularly resulted in items being forgotten when ordering, leading to further arguments with the waitress.

18/03/2026: I hope it was just a bad day... I chose the restaurant based on the menu options I'd read on the website, but once I sat down, I was told three times that the dish wasn't available. In the end, disheartened, I had to settle for the usual Milanese cutlet. There was something "good" there, but it wasn't on the menu. The website is inviting, but it's a shame it's only in the photos, but I can say I'm still craving it.

12/03/2026: I ordered a tagliata, but I received a grilled steak, sliced, and then placed each piece back on the grill, cooking on both sides! Please change the name of the dish on the menu or explain to the chef that cooking the meat only once preserves the quality of the product, not to mention saving energy! I gave it two stars for the generous portion and the good beer.

03/04/2026: I'm writing this review still in disbelief at the treatment and quality of the food I received. If you're looking for a place to eat after a day on the slopes, move on: any other option will be better than this. The pizza dough was embarrassing: rubbery, clearly under-risen, and raw in the center, while the crust was burnt and bitter. The ingredients used were of the lowest quality; the tomato was overly acidic, and the mozzarella had no consistency whatsoever, a sign of the use of low-quality industrial products that have nothing to do with the flavors of the area. The service was the final straw. Arrogant staff, biblical wait times (over an hour for two pizzas with the place half empty), and a total disorganization in the dining room and kitchen. Despite our polite complaints about the cooking, the response was dismissive and lacking in professionalism. The prices were completely out of line and unjustified. Paying gourmet prices for a product that wouldn't even end up on the plate of an emergency shelter is unacceptable. A place that thrives solely on its touristic location, but doesn't deserve a single cent of your money. ​Avoid it if you don't want to ruin your evening and your stomach. In his place, I'd keep quiet, especially since there's no page where you can write a review exclusively for the restaurant.
