30/03/2025: Sincere and warm welcome, always attentive service and maximum courtesy. Even on a very crowded evening everyone was super. There was also a very discreet security guard. The meat dishes were excellent and the Bud Spencer beans were exceptional. Well done everyone!

20/02/2025: Although it is a nice place, well-kept, minimal but well arranged inside, it has a fairly well-curated drinks and wine list. Unfortunately the bottle of Nebbiolo (which is still a red...) was served to us at a temperature that was really too low, compared to the normal serving temperature. The waitress had difficulty opening the bottle itself but this was surmountable. Unfortunately, however, after half an hour, we were told that the place would close not too long after, so the bottle was recorked and drunk the next day at home, unfortunately. Not exactly the best evening...

06/06/2025: The food was excellent, the tablet menu in many languages ​​was modern and varied. The portions were large. The location right on the lake was great. We were here on foot, so I can't comment on the parking lot.

21/06/2025: Pizza is no longer the same as last year, now it is low and half burnt and my stomach hurts, the waiter took orders first from those who sat down after and at the bill seeing that I left the plate you should have at least asked if everything was okay, pizza and water 19.50 euros with this quality is a steal!

08/03/2025: It's already the second dinner we've had here and it proves to be a guarantee. Very attentive staff, intimate atmosphere and an excellent selection of products. The price is right for the service and the raw material. This evening we accidentally paid more than we should have without noticing anything and the dining room staff chased us out of the venue to refund us the excess amount! It was a very welcome gesture. I definitely recommend it.

09/06/2025: J’étais déjà venue au Pastificio Defilippis et j’en avais gardé un excellent souvenir. Cette fois encore, l’expérience a été très agréable : les serveurs sont vraiment gentils et ont réussi à nous trouver une table alors qu’on n’avait pas réservé. Le cadre est charmant, bien décoré, on s’y sent bien. La cuisine est toujours aussi bonne. La première fois, j’avais mangé des pâtes à l’arrabbiata que j’avais adorées, et j’étais venue exprès pour les reprendre — mais ici la carte change souvent, donc il faut savoir qu’on ne retrouve pas forcément les plats d’une fois sur l’autre. Ce n’est pas un restaurant de « classiques » comme la carbonara, le pesto ou le ragù : ici, on trouve plutôt des recettes originales comme des pâtes aux courgettes ou aux fruits de mer. C’est une cuisine qui sort de l’ordinaire, raffinée, bien travaillée. En revanche, les prix sont un peu élevés (comptez facilement 17-18 € le plat), et les portions sont assez petites — on a encore un peu faim en sortant. Donc le rapport qualité-prix peut paraître un peu juste. Mais les desserts sont très bons aussi, et l’ensemble reste une belle adresse si vous cherchez un resto de pâtes un peu différent à Turin.

25/05/2025: Off season it's empty but don't let that put you off, the food is stunning. Perfect service and the scallops for starter were perfectly cooked, but the steak was the best I've had in a long time. So well treated, so well cooked and flavoursome. Story ate most of it before I remembered to take a photo

01/05/2025: Premetto che il personale è davvero il plus del locale, accogliente e molto disponibile. Rispetto alla cena, buoni gli antipasti ( uovo a bassa temperatura e capesante), da rivedere -a nostro parere - le portate principali; peraltro abbiamo aspettato quasi 45 minuti tra antipasti e primi. Comunque, locale carino, cantina buona...mi aspettavo meglio dalla cucina.

16/06/2025: In citta per concerto cercavamo un posto carino dove poter fare ape. Abbiamo trovato lo Shore. Apericena a 18€ con buffet molto fornito, introvabile dalle mie parti. Personale gentile e solare. Se non siete di torino e cercate un apericena che vi sazi veramente e che sia buono ve lo consiglio vivamente. Se invece siete di torino e non ci siete già stati provatelo non ne rimarrete delusi.

02/06/2025: Appena arrivati ci siamo recati per pranzo presso il Vinbar.. Servizio ottimo, cibo buono personale e proprietaria di una cortesia rara... ci hanno consigliato anche cantine di nicchia in cui degustare ottimo vino! Sempre attenti e cordiali.. Siamo tornati altre volte nei giorni a seguire per aperitivo e colazione... a mio parere Fantastici!

01/06/2025: Very nice little restaurant. They were able to serve us quickly even though everything was full. A nice surprise. Well-prepared local dishes at a reasonable price. 3 appetizers, 3 antipasti, 3 primeriplati, and 3 coffees for around €90. (Ps: The coffee cremas are very good 😉)

01/07/2025: Disappointment we went to eat in this place because being in the mountains, we had good culinary expectations typical products and more.. The place is very nice comfortable but the food was terrible the disappointing menu, so we took a first and a second The pasta arrived raw and full of pepper in short it was only pepper, we ordered the second of the ribs that were inedible, in fact after that we did not even ask for the coffee because we were so disappointed with the dinner... A small precaution for the restaurant whoever goes to a restaurant, especially in a mountain place wants to eat typical products, genuine and good paying the right amount, being ripped off on the pasta and ribs is really unlucky and we were, so I do not recommend the place..

09/04/2025: The entrance is tucked away at the end of a galeria but, once inside, it’s a different world. The first floor dining area overlooks the church and the mountains and you can watch the sun set. The staff are helpful, welcoming and attentive. We didn’t have a reservation but they gave us a lovely table by the window. The service was fast, despite their hosting 40-odd children on the lower floor on a ski trip. The food was fab, from proper Neapolitan-style pizzas to an enormous (serves more than one) salumi/charcuterie board to the tartare made from flavoursome regionally-bred beef. And superb value for money when compared to other local eateries (such as Pinky). Between my wife, my daughter and me, we’ve been coming to Sestriere for years but this is the first time we’ve been to Il Centro for years. Thoroughly recommended.

10/05/2025: You eat on plastic plates, plastic cutlery and plastic cups, practically a village festival. Pizza worse than the supermarket and 6 types of pizzas. Alpine gathering perhaps they didn't understand. A couple near our table have steel cutlery, something doesn't add up 🤷‍♂️
