14/04/2025: Siamo arrivati in 3 persone, abbiamo ordinato l’antipasto per 3 che ce voluto 35 minuti per arrivare, ma solo due di noi abbiamo avuto l’ antipasto cioè l’altra persona ha aspettato oltre 20 minuti per il suo antipasto, poi la seconda portata è arrivata dopo mezz’ora per una persona, le altre due hanno aspettato un bel po’, mentre tutto questo tempo ad aspettare eravamo davanti un tavolo con dei bambini male educati, nonostante ci fossero dei posti liberi più lontano di quel tavolo, sendo che il ristorante era mezzo vuoto. Finito il pranzo siamo andati a pagare, e la donna che era in cassa (potrebbe essere la proprietaria) è stata di una arroganza e scortesia incredibile, ho segnalato a lei la situazione e lei mi ha risposto con sarcasmo e arroganza, che poi ho parlato in modo gentile con lei, non tornerò mai più.

08/04/2025: Restaurant on the lakeside of Arona, eaten for lunch on a weekday, although there were many tourists I didn't wait to sit down or for the dishes. I took a first course and fried calamari and vegetables. Very good and good prices. Fast and professional service.

20/03/2025: Delicious burgers. Portions are right but not huge. Good and juicy meat. Perfect bread. Good quality chips but slightly salty. Prices around 13/14 per sandwich. Nice atmosphere. Nice place also for after dinner, with drinks, wine and beers. The menu isn't huge, which isn't a bad thing. Or tapas or burgers.

13/10/2024: In front of the lake...of feriolo.. A small Portofino on Lake Maggiore... Delicious cuisine and impeccable service... Price? Money well spent!!

01/10/2024: Had lunch on Sunday, the restaurant is on the long lake of Feriolo, a hamlet of Baveno, a small quiet village. The location is remarkable, it feels like eating on the water, the spaghetti with clams, a few, with yellow cherry tomato cream and basil oil, were good. In my opinion the dessert was better, tartlet with pears and chocolate ice cream.

08/04/2025: I passed by it hundreds of times to reach the Piedmont shore of Lake Maggiore, but more than a restaurant I thought it was a Pub. Invited to dinner by a group of friends it was a pleasant surprise because contrary to what I thought, inside there is a beautiful place with many seats and in the warm season there is also the possibility of eating outside in addition to the fact that you can also order take-away. Friendly staff and fairly fast service considering that it was full, the waiting times were all in all good and above all the various orders brought to our table at the same time, which was very welcome. Prices in line with the norm and very good food. Reservations strongly recommended.

29/03/2025: Let's talk about this fantastic place. I have never seen such a mess. Four of us arrive with the idea of ​​having an aperitif after a long day at work. We arrive all smiling, we are not even taken into consideration as if we were shit. After several minutes of waiting we were asked to show the greenpass to 4 people, a boy kindly asked to charge his phone so he could show the greenpass. Open up heaven. Really.. But anyway we decide to keep quiet.. let's move on, we are asked for command as if we were doing charity in this magnificent place. Aside from the wait... Two platters plus two more cocktails are ordered. I always point out rudeness and arrogance. While the cocktails arrive I ask to pay with the POS and I am always told in an arrogant tone to make a single bill... I am always correct in paying for everything when I pay with the card so that we can make sense of the commissions. The POS arrives after 30 minutes after having always requested it in a kind manner.. Because we are respectful of other people's work.. But not being worthy of respect doesn't sit well with me. The cutting board arrives without cutlery, not to mention the pasta served cold and without cutlery... I don't know, since you mistook us for animals you thought we could eat with our hands. While waiting we learned that the legendary waiter who was part of the splendid restaurant had not taken the order correctly despite it having been repeated 4 times. At which point our patience is gone... We have already been treated like lepers without paying any attention... We have been silent when enough is enough. Never again. Terrible experience and no, they never apologized. Knowing that you were so disgusted by money didn't bother you.

06/03/2025: Avevo vinto una box di Boscolo a un Premio Letterario (la Fine Dinner - 159 € per una cena per due persone) e ho scelto (ahinoi) questo ristorante. Ho avuto molte difficoltà nella prenotazione nonostante abbia seguito alla lettera le indicazioni e abbia chiesto più volte conferma telefonicamente, e, una volta giunti sul posto il proprietario (Nicola?) è venuto al nostro tavolo e in modo poco gentile ci ha detto che non potevamo usare la box perché bisognava attendere che Boscolo rispondesse (o qualcosa del genere, perché parole ne ha dette tante). Allora io ho risposto che avrei cenato altrove e ho fatto per alzarmi ma lui, piuttosto di cortese e trattandomi letteralmente come una barotta ignorante (o almeno, io in quel momento mi sono sentita tale), ha attivato tramite il sito di Boscolo la box e in meno di 15 secondi Boscolo ha risposto. Da quel momento la nostra cena è stata un incubo: frasette ironiche ma taglienti da parte del sig. Nicola che invece trattava gli altri clienti con deferenza, allusioni al fatto che io avessi "parlato fin troppo" quando invece avevo semplicemente spiegato che la prenotazione con la box mi era stata confermata con ben 2 telefonate e, alla fine, al momento di salutarci, si è ancora permesso di chiedermi se mi ero calmata! Io? Ha fatto tutto lui! Che non fossimo clienti graditi è stato chiaro fin dal primo momento, quando ci ha chiesto da dove arrivavamo e se eravamo già clienti, e la sua grande scortesia ci ha rovinato una serata di relax. Quanto al cibo, nulla da eccepire (se non che io e il mio compagno di questa avventura abbiamo dovuto PER FORZA scegliere gli stessi piatti perché così ha imposto l'onnipresente signor Nicola), ma un buon ristorante si valuta anche sul piano della cortesia... Insomma: un buon ristorante è dove ci si sente a proprio agio e non dove il proprietario o chi per lui ti umilia in continuazione? ESPERIENZA PESSIMA, OVVIAMENTE DA NON RIPETERE. Quanto al sig. Nicola... non glielo ha mica ordinato il medico di essere presente sulle box di Boscolo! Se tali clienti lui noni reputa all'altezza del suo locale, eviti accuratamente e scelga chi è degli di sedersi ai suoi tavoli!

22/03/2025: Bravi! Il Servizio è da 10, il personale di sala molto attento e preparato, coccolati dall’inizio alla fine. Le materie prime sono di alta qualità. Carpaccio e carne cruda molto buone, serviti con ottimi abbinamenti. La costata che abbiamo ordinato era da circa1200g, la cottura perfetta come da noi richiesta.

22/10/2024: Amazing experience all around. The restored castle is beautiful, and the bedrooms are amazing. You really feel like royalty staying here. The food, both breakfast and dinner, were delicious. Denise made some of the best meals during our three weeks touring Italy. Lastly, Denise and staff were very hospitable. They left no stone unturned when it came to providing the best experience for their customers. We can not wait to visit again.

13/10/2024: My stay at Hotel Castello di Sinio was absolutely unforgettable! The staff were incredible, treating every guest like family from the moment we arrived. Their warmth and attention to detail made the entire experience one of the most enjoyable stays of my life. I can’t recommend this place enough – it truly feels like a home away from home!

08/03/2025: It's already the second dinner we've had here and it proves to be a guarantee. Very attentive staff, intimate atmosphere and an excellent selection of products. The price is right for the service and the raw material. This evening we accidentally paid more than we should have without noticing anything and the dining room staff chased us out of the venue to refund us the excess amount! It was a very welcome gesture. I definitely recommend it.

19/10/2024: Giorgio is a fantastic owner, he welcomes you with open arms, I have known him for many years now even if I don't visit him often Giorgio is always available and smiling, ready to satisfy every need The place is large with many table football stations and a billiard table It's a way to meet up and spend a few hours with friends and have fun If you get hungry at midnight, Giorgio prepares some excellent sandwiches with porchetta, cheese and mayonnaise, delicious to say the least 🤤 😋 Hi Giorgio, see you soon Faith and Omar
