02/03/2026: Very good restaurant, with carefully prepared and tasty dishes. The only flaw was the somewhat slow but very friendly service. We had a platter of cured meats and cheeses as an appetizer, followed by duck breast and pork cheek. For dessert, a tiramisu. In total, we spent €80 for two, without wine. Recommended.

31/12/2025: A terrible experience due to the owner's behavior. A truly unpleasant person, she attacked us as we left because we had entered the wrong door and accidentally ended up on the outside porch. She started knocking compulsively from the window, then came out and told us in a truly rude and bitter tone: "They tell me you're not supposed to stay here!" Once we left, she waved mockingly, given her mocking smile. Not to mention the pizza and its mediocre mozzarella and the fries that came with it, fried in oil that had seen at least ten other fryings. Sincerely, never again. For us, it was the first and last time. The lady should learn how to deal with customers, given the many other negative reviews about her.

19/12/2025: I arrived early. There was no one in the place, and there was music playing. The staff was very friendly, smiling, and very polite. The idea is to grab as much food as you want, eat quickly, and leave. Food can be reheated: vegetables, meat, pizza, ravioli. We had a cocktail. My opinion: if you're in a hurry or if the area is crowded, this place is perfect. This means you don't have to wait for your order to be prepared and delivered. You just put everything on a plate, reheat it, eat, and leave.

01/12/2025: I celebrated my 18th birthday here and had a wonderful time. As soon as we arrived, they seated us in the upstairs room, which was beautiful, spacious, and super quiet. The waiters were incredibly kind throughout the evening, and the owner was incredibly helpful. They let me bring balloons and even the cake, and everything was perfect. The food was excellent; I had a vegan and a celiac person, and they still managed to eat a lot, which is not a given. The drinks were also very good and carefully selected. The €6 voucher (instead of €8) for future use was also greatly appreciated. Overall, a super positive experience, fantastic staff, and a beautiful venue. They helped make my evening special, and I thank them from the bottom of my heart. Highly recommended!

28/12/2025: A beautiful and welcoming place, with a pleasant selection of background music. The atmosphere is clean and well-kept, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The cocktails are excellent and well-prepared. The only negatives: the lack of napkins on the table and the somewhat lengthy order taking process. Overall, however, a pleasant place for an aperitif.

23/11/2025: Impeccable service, the girl is incredibly kind and professional, the owners are friendly, and thanks also to the chefs who made it a point to change a dish (since I'm allergic to pepper), they prepared a simple but very good fresh tomato dish for me. 17/03/2026: I decided to have aperitivo at this place for my birthday with two friends. While the atmosphere was elegant and sophisticated, and the cocktails were around €20-35, the rudeness and lack of manners of the hosts were not quite as high. It completely ruined the atmosphere and made me and my friends feel very uncomfortable. First, they told us to sit at a table without specifying exactly which one, and then made us move. We started taking photos with a tripod, and they told us, "When the others arrive, you move and you take that one back." The place was completely empty. How could it bother the other guests that I, on my birthday, wanted to take souvenir photos of myself with my friends? Truly inconceivable. Because we weren't pointing the camera at the staff, but at ourselves, with the aim of taking photos of the event. Having said that, shortly after us, a couple arrived at another table. The classic old man with the young foreigner and the LV bag. Needless to say, they were treated completely differently, even though they were actually quite rude, while we were treated with no attention or respect whatsoever. They asked the other table if they wanted a chair to put their bags on, while they stared at us half the time. Truly annoying behavior that makes no one feel comfortable. Needless to say, when it came time to pay, not only did I not leave a tip, but I wasn't even asked for feedback. This was most likely due to the obvious fault of feeling that the service was not only terrible, but also rude and unwilling to improve. That said, the place is very beautiful, clean, and decorated, and the dishes are quite good and adequate, although in my opinion the prices don't reflect the food, the service, or the beauty of the place. €16 for a bottle of water isn't even worth paying in St. Mark's Square in Venice or in Lourdes. I won't be returning and I strongly advise against the place because, as nice as it is, I'd rather not give my money to people who shouldn't have learned good manners and manners in elementary school.

03/03/2026: A beautiful place isn't enough to justify the rudeness of its staff. Sunday afternoon: I'm meeting some Florentine friends for a drink, raving about the place, then I arrive with my dog ​​and am stopped at the entrance by a young man as sunburned as he is rude, who asks me if I've read the sign prohibiting dogs. Honestly, I haven't read it; I apologize and point out that this is one of the very few places where well-behaved, small dogs are not allowed. He looks at me disdainfully, while a more intelligent and elegant colleague expresses her regret; this is a rule of thumb. I accept without hesitation, and we head off for a drink at Baratti, treated like queens in a unique setting, not just any old shop. Staff hostility is extremely dangerous for a business, especially in times like these... and there are so many "luxury" perfume shops these days... good luck!

21/03/2026: My partner and I had lunch here during a trip to the Borromean Islands. We had a wonderful time! The restaurant is slightly further inland from the lakeside, but you can still see it from the terrace windows. We shared an appetizer (mixed fried lake fish), which was plentiful, light, and excellent! We then each ordered the daily fixed-price menu, also featuring fish, and were very satisfied. The waitress was also very kind and helpful. The price was reasonable, and cover charge included!

21/03/2026: Very nice restaurant, especially the upstairs dining room and the balconies. Quick and very friendly service, excellent food (both fish and pizza, meat, and desserts)...we highly recommend it!

22/02/2026: "You can tell a good day from your order..." We arrived at 12:20, with a reservation, when the restaurant wasn't yet full. The dish we ordered was good and well-prepared, with no complaints about the quality. However, the service organization left a bit to be desired. Every request made to the waiters had to be met with the usual "yes, just a minute, the lady will arrive," resulting in a delay. The lady—who I presume was the owner and in charge of taking orders—seemed to be the sole decision-maker, creating inevitable delays. There was also a sense of resignation on the part of the waiters, who were often called directly by customers to place their orders, only to be promptly answered with the same phrase: "the lady will arrive." This made the service unsatisfactory and less efficient than one might expect. For two main courses, a glass of red wine each, and a coffee, the total cost was around €70. Overall, the dish was good, but the organization, timing, and value for money could definitely be improved. We're still waiting for our coffee, we're waiting for "the lady," we'll let you know... 😑

22/01/2026: A traditional restaurant offering lake fish specialties, just a few meters from Arona's lakefront. The atmosphere and decor are rustic yet elegant, and the food is delicious and well-prepared. The flavor of lake fish may not be for everyone, but if you appreciate it, or are curious and just want to try it, this restaurant is for you. Recommended.

06/03/2026: I've been to this place several times, and from experience, the last time I asked for a pizza that wasn't burned. The pizza arrived completely black on the bottom and burned on the edges; the waitress, decidedly rude, told me it would take another half hour to remake it. At the cashier, there was no apology; in fact, the waitress arrogantly told me the pizza was good as is. How brave! I won't set foot in there again, and I'll spread the word. Terrible behavior.

15/11/2025: Valentine's Day dinner 2025: a fairly varied set menu. We went to this restaurant because it's supposed to be a well-known name in the city. We entered and only after a while were we called to sit at the counter (quite uncomfortable for such a high-priced dinner). We were crammed in among bottles of wine and various decorations, even though there were still a few tables free (and they remained that way throughout the evening). After choosing the wine (the chef arrogantly wanted to choose for us even though we explicitly told him what we wanted), a plate of breadsticks, crackers, and bread arrived, not at all crispy and lacking in flavor. The dinner continued with quality dishes. At one point, the chef scolded one of the waiters (who had always been extremely kind and provided impeccable service) in front of the entire dining room. The icing on the cake was dessert and coffee at the end of the dinner. Only at a few tables did the chef serve strawberries with chocolate, leaving a few guests without them. Since it was a set menu, it should have been included with all courses. The food was good, though, it was a shame about the setting, which completely failed to live up to expectations and the bill.

12/10/2025: This is not a restaurant, it is a show!! You are in for an extraordinary experience, everything is managed to the smallest detail. Highly recommended!!

04/01/2026: This was our first time here, but I don't think we'll be back. We bought half a kilo of pastries for €30, which means a kilo would have cost a whopping €60. The quality of the pastries was good, but average, definitely not consistent with the high price. The service and attention to detail were excellent.

20/10/2025: A slight bitter taste remained. Two days ago, we bought a package of chestnut chocolates from Cuneo. We paid 32 euros for 450 grams. That means a kilo of chocolates would cost more than 60 euros. What's gold?! We have a lot of experience with Piedmont chocolates (Lindt, Venchi, Cunesi, Limonesi, Oliva, etc.), but this has never happened before. It's all a bit sad.

07/10/2025: The atmosphere was very noisy and not very clean, especially the restrooms. The service was extremely slow, and sometimes, despite the slowness, they even got the order wrong. My wife, my brother-in-law, my wife's sister, and I waited over an hour one Saturday night for two pizzas (not good) and two grilled meats (not good). The beer was awful, either bitter or overly flavored. Never again! Disgusting place!

25/02/2026: Motorcycle ride, a little spot on the shore of Lake Maggiore with a view of Isola Madre. Excellent and plentiful food. Highly recommended, especially for motorcyclists! 🤙
