18/05/2025: When you want to eat really well! I have been a customer of the Primavera restaurant for over 36 years and I can say that I have recommended this place a thousand times to everyone who asked me for advice on how to eat good food in an elegant but family-run restaurant. A restaurant that remains anchored to tradition, but that knows how to keep up with modern times. The restaurant is family-run: the owners are Gianni and Cinzia, with their daughter Annagiulia who welcome you with a smile and kindness that... makes you hungry! Let's start with the fish: few places can boast such quality! The appetizers, whether refined or simple, offer the flavor of the sea, fresh as if we were on the beach and the fishermen had just delivered the catch of the day. The first courses are a triumph of flavor and the spaghetti al cartoccio delight the eyes when a swan of rolled up foil is delivered to the table. The second courses are my favorites, especially the sea bass or the baked sea bream with vegetables. But lingering over the menu for a few minutes offers the possibility of always finding some new and interesting dish. The mixed fried fish is an excellence of the restaurant, almost a business card... Meat: a must try! The typical traditional dishes are accompanied by more original recipes, my preference goes to the albese among the appetizers and the tagliata among the main courses: they never disappoint and have a softness that seems like a caress brought to the palate. The pizza is very light in the dough, thin and very digestible, I have always liked it and it is typical of this restaurant: I don't think I have found a similar preparation elsewhere. It is definitely an experience to do! Very sweet ending: for those who want to end with a little sugar, Cinzia, the owner, prepares every day a whole showcase of beautiful and captivating desserts that welcomes you at the entrance and from the very beginning your eyes are enraptured. You have just entered but you already know that you will not be able to finish dinner without having tried at least one and loving it to the last teaspoon, you will find peace of mind! Wines: a good selection, with some really special labels; if you are not sure ask Gianni for advice, even after so many years he knows how to surprise me with an unusual but elegant bottle, the result of his continuous search for excellence. In short: it is a place to return to as soon as possible!

19/08/2025: It's a beloved place, where we (differently young) spent our mornings after school. Back then, sandwiches, peanuts, and glasses of wine circulated on those tables... Nowadays, they offer excellent traditional and regional cuisine, carefully prepared and made with high-quality ingredients, but the convivial atmosphere has remained the same. It's always nice to dine in good company and with good food, and here, even more so!

09/04/2025: La entrada está escondida al final de una galería pero, una vez dentro, es un mundo diferente. El comedor del primer piso tiene vistas a la iglesia y las montañas y se puede ver la puesta de sol. El personal es servicial, acogedor y atento. No teníamos una reserva, pero nos dieron una mesa preciosa junto a la ventana. El servicio fue rápido, a pesar de que acogieron a 40 - niños extraños en el piso inferior en un viaje de esquí. La comida era fabulosa, desde pizzas de estilo napolitano hasta una enorme tabla de salumi / charcutería (sirve más de uno) y el sarro hecho de sabrosa carne de res criada regionalmente. Y excelente relación calidad-precio en comparación con otros restaurantes locales (como Pinky). Entre mi esposa, mi hija y yo, hemos estado viniendo a Sestriere durante años, pero esta es la primera vez que hemos estado en Il Centro en años. Muy recomendable.

20/06/2025: Horrible pizza, level of frozen pizzas from discount stores. Flat and tasteless draft beer. The service is fine, friendly waiting staff, but avoid it for eating.

03/03/2025: Whenever I go to Turin, "Le Salette" is a constant. The pizza is light and delicious, the food is quick, the service is professional and friendly, and the atmosphere is warm and comfortable. See you next time!

28/08/2025: Awful staff! The google profile says the supermarket is open until 11 pm. We arrived at 8:30, it was fully open so we went in to get our shopping. A horrid lady came and told us - at 8:45 - that it was closed and we were made to return everything and leave. No kindness or understanding that the Google listing clearly says the supermarket is also open until 11, and that furthermore it was open for us to enter, lights on and able to select shopping - no signage on the outside to say otherwise!

18/06/2025: Dinner at Vintage1997 last night: a truly superb experience, made unforgettable by our waiter Michele. With his elegance and charming smile, Michele welcomed us with impeccable professionalism. Always attentive and discreet, he expertly guided us through the menu and wines, demonstrating rare expertise. In addition to his good looks, what is striking is his ability to make the service not only efficient but also pleasantly engaging. Michele transformed our dinner into a special moment. Kudos to Vintage1997 for such an exceptional team! We will be back soon.

30/08/2025: Unfortunately, the service was quite slow and inattentive. We ate well, and the view was definitely worth it.

17/08/2025: Spectacular view, but that's thanks to the mountains of the Susa Valley. The place is small inside with a lovely terrace. It's incredible to have paid €20 for two sandwiches on plain bread with three slices of mediocre mozzarella (even if it had been four, it would still have been mediocre mozzarella), three slices of tomato, and half a liter of sparkling water. It's not nice to make comparisons, but in Trentino, in a place like this, they'd be able to serve you a delicious lunch even without a reservation on Ferragosto (August 15th). Mountain refuges should always have at least four or five tables for those arriving from hikes. It's called hospitality. The island of Linosa also faces challenges related to the territory, but I've never had anyone say, "If you don't have a reservation, only sandwiches." Unfortunately, Piedmont is still far behind in these matters.

05/09/2025: The two of us went out to eat on September 5, 2025. We had a 600g steak and porcini mushroom risotto. The portions were generous and the flavor was excellent.

04/09/2025: Very nice place, very friendly staff, we also went with the dog and they even brought us a bowl of water which is not something that happens often.

08/07/2025: Great value for money. A really good lasagna for 14 euros. The young waitress and the chef were super friendly. The tiramisu feels homemade. I can definitely recommend it.

03/07/2025: A very simple room. On the other hand, a very warm welcome. We were delighted, the only small downside was a fan in the room instead of air conditioning. Too bad. But we will return, because the setting is really very pleasant and the city very friendly.
