20/06/2025: Horrible pizza, level of frozen pizzas from discount stores. Flat and tasteless draft beer. The service is fine, friendly waiting staff, but avoid it for eating.

03/03/2025: When I go to Turin "Le Salette" is a constant, the pizza is light and good, the cuisine is quick, the service is professional and friendly and the environment is warm and comfortable. Until next time!

23/05/2025: Not worth neither the Michelin star, nor the 4.3 rating in google maps. Very basic food, a shame to eat it in Italy. Tuna steak (excellent) was served with uncooked store bought spinach. Very good service.

13/05/2025: Everything was beautiful, everything was good, but it's a shame that some things disappeared before the ceremony and towards the end, and I'm not talking about cutlery or small things, we're talking about large flower arrangements and a magnum bottle of champagne with a photo of me and my wife stuck on it!!!

09/06/2025: Ci siamo fermati in questo ristorante durante una visita a Orta S. Giulio. Il locale si trova proprio sulla piazza principale a pochi metri dall'imbarco dei battelli. Il personale è stato cortese e disponibile. La location è bellissima, abbiamo mangiato sul patio che dà proprio sul lago, con davanti l'isola di S.Giulio. La qualità dei piatti è senz'altro buona, fra tutti abbiamo preso una pizza, i ravioli ai tre arrosti, tagliolini, grigliata mista di pesce e fritto misto, tutto ottimo, specie i secondi. L'unico punto negativo, che condiziona un voto altrimenti ottimo, è il prezzo. Capisco la qualità notevole della location, ma il rapporto fra qualità e quantità dei piatti e il prezzo è davvero troppo sbilanciato. Il giudizio finale comunque è positivo.

05/06/2025: In May the restaurant starts to get crowded due to the presence of many tourists. The one next door is closed so we have some doubts whether there is room even for just two people. Instead we are made to sit inside and even on the veranda with a view of the lake. We are amazed by the contrast between the oilcloth tablecloth and the cloth napkins. The menu options are inviting and we order two appetizers with scallops and avocado pulp, a Milanese risotto with melted cheese and a plate of spaghetti with clams (which should have been tagliolini according to the menu) and two pistachio Bavarian creams, all accompanied by two glasses of Ribolla bianco. All the dishes are very successful and well presented. Courteous service that continued well beyond 3:00 pm and prices in line with the quality of the food and the tourist location. In conclusion, better than expected, with a few flaws.
