25/02/2026: When you're completely exhausted... you stumble upon this restaurant full of locals, not tourists. The food is delicious. If I had to find a fault, the lasagna portion is small for the price. But everything else is fantastic!

25/02/2026: I happened upon La Pilotta when I made my first trip to Rome in 2010. It was an experience to remember, not just for the fantastic food but for the charming and joyful experience overall. We returned in 2018 with our family for an amazing Easter meal. Our most recent visit was February 2026. We arrived toward the end of the lunch rush when the place had just a few customers and the owner, Mario, was working at a calculator in the middle of the dining room. We ended up in conversation with him before a delicious meal — pasta all'amatriciana for me and pasta alla carbonara for my husband (when in Rome...). Before leaving, I happened to notice that hanging on the wall was the Rome travel piece I'd written for our upstate New York daily newspaper, the Times Union, in 2010. How it found its way to La Pilotta I'll never know, but I was overcome with joy and had to pose with Mario. This is a great spot, just outside the Vatican walls, great food, including delicious homemade pastas, comfy vibe, good prices. Stop by, and tell Mario I said hello.

22/07/2025: L'endroit idéal pour commencer la journée ! les locaux boivent leur café sur le dessus de la vitrine qui leur sert de comptoir. Les touristes s'installent dehors sur 2 terrasses car la pâtisserie fait un angle de rue. Propreté irréprochable, grand choix de pâtisseries, de viennoiseries délicieuses. J'ai testé un "maritozzo panna" pour 4 euros, une espèce de brioche énorme fourrée chantilly. Je n'ai jamais vu de pâtissier exposer en vitrine ses propres bâtonnets de glace maison ! Les cafés, capuccino, etc tournent autour de 3 euros, carte avec prix et addition sans mauvaise surprise. Bon accueil.

15/03/2026: Great rooftop bar! We went for drinks and the staff brought us snacks as well. Very nice atmosphere and service.

10/03/2026: A charming location: a terrace offering breathtaking views of Rome's beauties. The atmosphere is intimate and informal. I attended a dinner organized for a celebration, and the quality of the dishes was excellent, unusual for such an occasion. The cuisine is simple but very tasty. The service is prompt and attentive. Overall, a truly positive experience.

02/01/2026: Undoubtedly the best place in Parioli! Wonderful wine cellar, luxurious location, and excellent service! From aperitif to dinner, and even after dinner, everything was wonderful! The ribeye steak is wonderful, worthy of applause.

20/12/2025: Well-known in Rome, this is a great place for aperitivo. Nothing special for food...but good, average, and expensive.

06/03/2026: The hotel's Mediterranean restaurant, aside from being a bit salty, was quite good and suited to Asian palates. The first time I went, they gave me two complimentary meatballs, which were delicious. I also tried the chicken pie and the squid as a main course. The second time, I used a food delivery app with a 50% discount and ordered the squid appetizer and salad, followed by fish and seafood pasta as main courses. Overall, the food was good; the squid was tender but nothing particularly surprising. The salad was plentiful and fresh, but lacked originality. The fish was a pleasant surprise; I usually eat steamed fish at home, so this restaurant's fish had a more complex and layered flavor. Water is charged separately, and there's a table fee. However, the discount only applies to food. Both times, the staff proactively showed me a detailed bill, so I think 4.5 stars is fair for this restaurant.

09/02/2026: Excellent and generous portions. The price is reasonable, and the quality and flavors are excellent. Fast service. You can go there without hesitation.

14/01/2026: What a perfect spot to get some great meat and amazing burgers. The price range I put is because we took advantage of the half-priced burgers they offer on Tuesdays. The burgers were fantastic (coming from an American). Great environment and service, everyone that works there is involved in helping and serving! Be sure to arrive at 19.30 because it fills up quickly, by the time we left there was a line outside. If you're in the area, don't miss out!

14/01/2026: I know the place because I lived in the area for 10 years. I've gone here every now and then, like tonight, with the guys, and it never disappoints: quality food, reasonable prices, excellent organization, and a great atmosphere. It's always a pleasure...

21/02/2026: A great place for coffee. The selection of pastries is limited after 11 a.m., but they were delicious. The coffee is excellent and the price is great. It's worth coming first thing in the morning for a wider selection. I would definitely go back.

02/11/2025: I live near the Case e Campi consortium, which has three cafés and pastry shops, but this is my favorite. The coffee is good and the pastries are truly excellent; unfortunately, if you don't get there early in the morning, they only have a few croissants left. Parking is easy, and the outdoor seating is very popular during the warmer months. The girls at the counter are friendly and helpful. The prices are a little higher than average.

15/02/2026: After many years, I returned. The atmosphere was welcoming and the staff very friendly. I had pizza for dinner, which was really good, with quality ingredients. Congratulations!!!

19/01/2026: A positive experience, friendly waiters, and good service, even though we were there at 8:30 PM on a Saturday, which meant it was packed! It's a shame about the Neapolitan pizza, which, despite being pictured, they don't make anymore. I came for that...

17/03/2026: One of the worst restaurants I have ever been. I had a food intoxication because of the carbonara and the coffee (the milk was expired). I have been vomiting and sick the whole day. I don’t recommend this place unless you want to get a stomach ache and be poisoned.

29/01/2026: We were there last night with my work group, 16 people, delicious food, while as for the staff, both the first waitress who took the order (I don't know if she's the owner) seemed annoyed, the other one who brought us the things very nervous and annoyed. The terrible thing is that at 9:30 pm she came to tell us that we had to lower our voices! Are you kidding! Saying that the next table had complained. Absurd, 16 people talking and joking, it's normal for there to be confusion, so don't accept groups! We left them almost 500 euros and we would have stayed longer and spent. Service off. We won't be back.

08/01/2026: Overall, it’s a pleasant place, however we couldn’t find a menu in English, and not all food options were available — only fast food and drinks. The Aperol drinks were very tasty, and the beef burger was also quite good.
