13/07/2025: Il locale ha un’atmosfera accogliente e curata, perfetta sia per un caffè veloce che per una pausa più lunga a pranzo o a cena. Ai tavoli verrete assistiti da Andrea, un cameriere di rara professionalità e gentilezza. Con un sorriso sincero e una grande attenzione al cliente, è riuscito a rendere il nostro momento al tavolo ancora più piacevole. È raro trovare qualcuno così appassionato del proprio lavoro e capace di coniugare efficienza e calore umano. Il menù è vario e ben pensato, con proposte che uniscono tradizione e creatività. Ottimi anche i caffè e i dolci, perfetti per una pausa golosa. Fermento è sicuramente un posto in cui tornare. Consigliatissimo – e chiedete di Andrea!

06/07/2025: Comida fantástica, vino excelente, servicio atento, gran ambiente. Lo probé después de leer las otras críticas pero sin esperar mucho, el lugar es en realidad una joya inesperada. El camarero Andrea, muy amable y profesional, nos hizo sentir inmediatamente bienvenidos y a gusto. Seguimos sus sugerencias para la cena y disfrutamos de cada plato (desde una deliciosa burrata con aceitunas alici y tomates secos, unos tagliolini alle vongole maravillosamente sedosos y unos fettuccine al ragù di manzo tradicionalmente ricos) acompañados de un vino blanco delicado pero multidimensional. Delicioso tiramisú para cerrar una cena perfecta y de lo más agradable. Gracias, definitivamente volveremos.

02/03/2026: It's not the first time we've been to this place. But last dinner really amazed us. We ordered two appetizers and then a salt-cooked sea bass for two. When the sea bass was ready, the waiter showed it to us but then went off to clean it in the kitchen, and when he brought our plates, there were two tiny pieces of sea bass. There wasn't even the part with the large bones. As if they served us half the fish! In the end, when the bill arrived, the sea bass cost a whopping €90, too bad we ate it for €30. We left hungry! And €175 for two without wine! Never again!

16/02/2026: A seafood restaurant with a good selection of ingredients (medium and large sea fish); however, the cuisine leaves something to be desired, as the fish isn't always prepared to order. The first courses are the restaurant's signature dish; I recommend the spaghetti with sea urchins. The wine list is extensive, but the bottles are marked up higher than average. The atmosphere is traditional, but the downside is poor ventilation (the dining room has a strong fishy odor).

08/03/2026: This restaurant is very centrally located, yet still quite quiet, almost hidden in a small square behind Via Po. It has numerous spacious and well-spaced outdoor tables, and the atmosphere is cheerful and relaxing. The menu offers everything from meat to pizza, including all sorts of delicacies. We ordered the crispy fries, which were well worth it! The fried artichoke, not my favorite since the outer leaves were too thick for my taste, and two truly delicious pizzas! Expertly cooked and with top-quality ingredients. For dessert, we chose the Nutella "zoccolette" (small pastries), which were delicious! And a meringue with strawberries and cream, which wasn't particularly impressive in presentation but was good. The service is efficient and courteous, and the numerous waiters are quick and friendly. I'd definitely say come and try it (make a reservation!); I'll be back.

20/02/2026: Overall, it was a pretty good experience. The food was quite authentic, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. The seafood noodles and fried seafood were particularly well-prepared. I originally came specifically for the roasted veal knuckle, which was recommended on Xiaohongshu (a Chinese social media platform), but unfortunately it was sold out that day, which was a bit of a disappointment. I ended up ordering a steak instead. The steak itself was quite good, but I have a small suggestion: because the restaurant has outdoor seating, it gets cold quickly in the wind, and the steak on the ceramic plate cooled down after only a few bites. I personally prefer the warmth of a hot plate; the steak definitely loses its appeal when it cools down. I hope the restaurant can consider keeping the tableware warm in the future, or perhaps increase the quantity of dishes available. Although I didn't get to eat what I really wanted this time, the service and taste were so good that I'd definitely come back next time to try the veal knuckle!

08/02/2026: Terrible experience. The welcome was seriously deceiving: the restaurant was nice, the ambiance was refined, and the staff was almost friendly. We were fooled by the daily menu, thinking that, like everywhere else, it would have been the best choice. Frozen foods and spicy dishes not listed on the menu. To be completely honest, I should say that they didn't charge me for the spicy dish that wasn't listed on the menu. Needless to say, the quality/price ratio is unjustified.

19/03/2026: The place is very nice and the food is quite good. However, the main course arrived completely wrong for the entire table, clearly the fault of the person who took the order, with no intention of correcting it. In my opinion, the service was terrible and even very rude. We were very loyal customers, but after this mistake, I don't think we'll be back.

18/03/2026: Very nice place. The decor is thoughtful. The coffee was good. It's a shame about the orange juice, which for €4 was truly paltry. It was served in the same little glass they use for the splash of water they give with the coffee. The waitress noticed the glass was dirty and poured the juice into another glass. Too bad.

09/03/2026: I've been there once for after-dinner drinks and once for a snack, and both times my experience was just OK, nothing special. The waiters are rude and slow, and the desserts have always been a 50/50 affair for me, as we've always ordered more than one item to sample different options, some being good and some being bad. For example, the so-called "Brookies" were a pleasant surprise; I really liked them, but I warn you that they're still very sweet, so those looking for something more balanced will definitely not like them. The churros, on the other hand, were awful; in fact, they can't even be called churros because they're actually biscuits similar to ladyfingers sold as churros with a sauce on the side. The cinnamon rolls were another pleasant surprise, but still very sweet, so they're fine for me, but I understand that they might be a bit too much for others. The carrot cake is definitely to be avoided; the batter was heavy, very artificial, and not at all like a real carrot cake. I'd gladly return to try these specific desserts, but it's something to do once in a while, not a place I'd go often.

25/01/2026: A modern-style pastry shop with long opening hours, offering breakfast, aperitifs, and even take-away treats. Their leavened pastries, whether croissants or other treats, are delicious and always well-filled! Good prices, and the staff are friendly and fast!

08/01/2026: Our first taste of Rome’s espresso & ice cream magic: Terrazza Ciampini – coffee, gelato & Roman atmosphere at its best As tourists visiting Rome for only a week, we were looking for places that could give us an authentic taste of the city – and Terrazza Ciampini delivered far beyond expectations. It became our very first unforgettable experience with authentic Roman coffee and Italian ice cream, and we loved every minute of it. The location is simply perfect. After a walk through the beautiful Villa Borghese Park, one of Rome’s most impressive green spaces -filled with trees, paths, fountains, and a peaceful, classic Roman atmosphere-, we reached the elegant surroundings of Villa Medici. The café sits right in this charming zone. The terrace itself offers a refined yet relaxed environment. The service was exceptionally kind, attentive, and welcoming. The staff treated us with genuine warmth, making us feel comfortable even though we were first-time visitors and did not speak Italian. The caffè doppio was outstanding – rich, aromatic, and perfectly prepared. It was our introduction to Rome’s coffee culture, and we could not have asked for a better first impression. And then came the gelato. The menu describes it beautifully: “… ice cream is like a perfume. Everyone has his own. Mine has all the flaws of a homemade ice cream.” This sentence perfectly reflects the experience – artisanal, real, slightly imperfect in the best way, and absolutely delicious. The texture was creamy, the flavours were natural, and it felt like a handcrafted masterpiece rather than a commercial dessert. The ice cream alone is worth the visit. If you want great coffee, incredible gelato, and a beautiful setting surrounded by one of Rome’s best parks and piazzas, this is the place—a classy Roman pause in the middle of sightseeing – peaceful, scenic, and memorable. Highly recommended. A first excellent taste of Rome we will never forget.

14/11/2025: A very pretty setting. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is closed outside of the summer season, however, you can definitely stop by for an ice cream on the terrace any time of year.

14/03/2026: We chose this place somewhat by chance and it was a wonderful discovery. The food was truly delicious: the fried foods, the wine, everything excellent. The place is very clean and the staff is kind and welcoming. Every time we asked for something, it was brought to us immediately, without any waiting. If we have the chance, we will definitely return. Highly recommended!

18/03/2026: Historic place, Roman cuisine, a very good carbonara but with little guanciale, the swordfish, vegetables and tiramisu are very good... very kind staff, absolutely good quality-price ratio, in short you can eat typical and tasty dishes for a modest amount of money.

17/03/2026: I had a very bad experience at this restaurant. A very loud and strange noise came from the kitchen, which made the meal truly unpleasant. I was also given a poorly washed spoon, with a rough surface, which was unacceptable from a hygiene standpoint. As for dessert, I absolutely do not recommend the lemon ice cream, which was truly awful. Overall, I do not recommend this restaurant.

24/12/2025: We've never felt ripped off like we did at this bar. The prices were crazy, with NO INFORMATION, and NO DISPLAYED PRICES. If you touch the table, the prices double. I've never seen anything like it, not even in luxury places. A €4 cappuccino and a stuffed white pizza were charged at €4.50, which went from €4.50 to €7 because I dared to eat at the table. A €2.20 Coke went from €4.50 to €4.50. Be careful ⚠️ before setting foot in this place. These places shouldn't exist; it's shameful for this city.
