06/04/2026: I was a guest at the restaurant for Easter lunch and I'd like to share my experience: the place is large and has a remarkable structure with a lot of potential that, however, remains untapped. Sitting at the table, I started sneezing because of the dust that was so obvious on the glass table and fabric sofas. The pasta arrived without salt, and even though we didn't ask for another course, it was brought to our table; they could have simply taken it off the bill. The second courses arrived staggered: the first two, the third (which they hadn't put on the order) after 10 minutes, and the other two after another 10 minutes. In short, we celebrated Easter chatting over good wine but eating in shifts. The waiter then apologized, saying it was Easter, so they were confused about that. That's a nonsensical excuse, especially for someone who knows the restaurant business. How can you be confused with a small set menu? Meanwhile, the management was having social interactions, unaware, I believe, of all these inconveniences. We rarely leave a tip, and in this case, it was inevitable. In my personal opinion, I experienced a sociologically interesting environment, which behind a glamorous facade hides mediocre products and service, with Rome itself as the protagonist of a decadent aesthetic.

24/05/2026: For many years, this has been a regular stop for ethnic and Swedish-inspired dining, featuring excellent salmon and quality ingredients. An intimate atmosphere with a homey feel, but with the attention to detail born of experience. The welcome is always top-notch, as are the dishes, always new and sophisticated. Never a faux pas, just hours of pure conviviality. The Bla Kongo potatoes are always excellent, and the salmon is exceptional, especially the fresh, smoked one! Enjoy your meal!

22/05/2026: There's nothing to complain about. A place that, even from the outside, presents itself impeccably. Meticulously decorated, with soothing colors and a harmonious décor. The staff is impeccable, very helpful, but especially calm, kind, and, above all, polite and knowledgeable. Last but not least, the dishes are exceptional; they're not afraid to explore both land and sea, and the ingredients are treated with absolute care. The focus is on delicate, elegant flavors that caress the palate with absolute class. The wine selection is sensational. A wide selection, capable of satisfying everyone. Absolutely one of the best places I've ever eaten.

06/06/2026: I came here today for the first time and I got some barley that not only tasted burnt but was also watery. They remade it for me twice and a third time. I left it because it was really undrinkable. It was basically colored water.

31/05/2026: We went in after a late dinner because the atmosphere looked nice. They said it was one dish per person, so even though it was past 9 PM, we successfully ordered four dishes for four people. However, a family of three from the US came in at the table right next to us and ordered two pizzas and two pastas, and even shared a bottle of water. Isn't that discrimination against Asians? Haha. I couldn't check other tables, so I don't know for sure. The food is just average. Don't go there. The service isn't great, and they ask for a tip when you pay. Of course, I didn't give one. The food prices are higher than other places, but I ate there because the outdoor vibe was nice; I ended up spending a lot of money and ending the day in a bad mood... Haha. Not recommended.

14/06/2026: Tasty, but the main course arrived while we were still eating our starters. One person had to ask twice afterwards to receive his main course because his plate had to go to the kitchen just as he was still eating his starter. Bizarre. Unacceptable. Ruined the whole evening. The quality was good. The fish of the day was very tasty. The service was friendly, but unfortunately this timing was terrible and unprofessional.

13/06/2026: After a full day wandering the sun-drenched streets of Rome — hot, dusty, and pleasantly exhausted — we stumbled upon a charming little outdoor bar tucked just off the main path. The moment we saw it, we knew we’d found our oasis. The staff welcomed us with warm smiles and immediately guided us to a shady table. Before we could even catch our breath, they brought over tall glasses of ice-cold water. Then came the star of the show: two perfectly crafted Aperol Spritzes, vibrant, refreshing, and exactly what we needed. That first sip, under the dappled shade with the gentle buzz of Roman life around us, was pure bliss. Simple, unpretentious, and wonderfully restorative — the kind of unexpected moment that makes a long day in the Eternal City feel magical.

03/05/2026: The service was extremely poor. I simply asked for some Parmesan with my pasta, but I couldn’t find our waiter. I repeatedly asked different staff members, and each time I was told “one moment,” yet nothing happened. When the Parmesan finally arrived, it contained insects, which was completely unacceptable. After that, no replacement was brought. When I followed up, I was told they had “asked the kitchen,” but nothing further was done. Overall, an appalling experience.

29/07/2025: Wonderful visit to Ristorante Cecilia Metella! Family friendly, family run, and homemade family quality. We highly recommend visiting this wonderful restaurant if you’re in the area, or walk across from the Catacombs di San Sebastien. Cross the road, head to right and up the driveway. The staff were super friendly and fun. I felt like my grandpa was serving us, with his grandpa humour. Couldn’t stop laughing at his grandpa jokes. The food was amazing. I feel like this was my most authentic Italian pasta and cuisine during our stay at Rome. We ate outside on the their terrace. There were lots of tables and couod get quite busy. However, our visit was just right in terms of noise from other tables. No need to shout, but still enjoyed the energy of the restaurant with families and friends enjoying lunch out on a Sunday.

20/04/2026: Amazing experience at Ristorante Santi! The food was delicious, especially the spaghetti with salmon and the perfectly seasoned chicken. And Julia was so helpful, taking the time to explain the dishes before we ordered. She made us feel very welcome! We’ll be back!

15/04/2026: Local family restaurant with simple traditional food, local wine and good coffee. Honest and friendly service. Good choice for a chill early afternoon. ...... After testing few restaurants in the area I must say - that one had the tastiest food. I 100% recommend.

06/05/2026: I don't recommend it and I warn against it. Tempted by reviews written by people who seem to have no taste buds, we were fooled. The carbonara was disgusting, a shame we ate it in a city famous for it. The prices were exorbitant for this level of flavor. The truffle risotto was very average. We chose this place hoping for peace and quiet, but instead we were constantly smelling cigarette smoke, and here, beware not of the guests but of the waiters, who were constantly popping out for a cigarette.

03/05/2026: A very welcoming place with quality food! We tasted typical Roman dishes, including saltimbocca and artichoke. Rino was very helpful in making the right choice and also explained the unique characteristics of each dish. I highly recommend it!
