Ristorante Aroma at Palazzo Manfredi In Roma

An excellent experience visiting Aroma Restaurant. Wonderful service, my sister has dietary restrictions and they did everything to meet her needs. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I'm a "grouch" by nature, I admit it. So not finding major defects was already an almost impossible mission... courteous and attentive staff, I can't even comment on the view, really good food, I liked all the courses! However, I have to tell you two flaws... the annoying and continuous shaking of the building, which for a phobic like me was a bit of a tough adventure. Another flaw, the splendid view but the room a little small and the mise en place not very adequate. But I must say that apart from the shaking, the other can take a back seat. Truly attentive and delightful staff.

Incredible experience! In all honesty, after reading some recent reviews, we were hesitant but decided to give it a chance. The service was amazing from when we walked into the hotel until we arrived at the restaurant. When we got to the hotel we were too early and they welcomed us into the lobby. When it was time for dinner they called us up to the restaurant in the cutest elevator ever! When we got into the restaurant we checked our coats and sat down. Service from that point on was timely and friendly. The food was delicious and the time in between courses was perfect. We were impressed by the perfectly cooked and tender meats (we did the meat tasting) and their accompaniments. The desserts were the perfect ending to the dinner. We did not opt for the wine tasting as we fell in love with our champagne choice! Most importantly, the view was breathtaking. Regardless of where you are on the terrace you will have a view of the Colosseum. We would absolutely go back and recommend it to everyone!

Amazing food with a stunning view! The service was excellent, the food was great, and at night it has the best view in Rome. It overlooks the Colosseum, and you can view the remains of a Roman kudus right next door. We asked to take a photo, and they even opened the awning for us!!

Wonderful view, trained and attentive dining room staff. Good and well prepared dishes. Prices a little high, but the view certainly has an impact. DEFINITELY MUST SEE the way you are received on the ground floor! Queuing in the street despite having made a reservation is unacceptable and equally unacceptable is the "we're fanning ourselves" from the girl who takes care of it!

You can have a meal with drinks, champagne, and a full course meal for two for less than 500 euros. In particular, even though I was not familiar with high-end restaurants, it was a perfect and happy experience because the restaurant staff were professional, patient, and considerate. I was able to see the incredibly fantastic view until I got tired of it, and I was even able to experience a dessert event to celebrate our couple's 15th anniversary. It was a perfectly happy day thanks to Aroma Restaurant.

Beautiful view, we requested the table in front and they reserved table as we wanted. The stuff was friendly just a bit time by time we were forgotten, for Michelin restaurant I don’t think we have to pour the wine by ourselves. The food was really delicious.

My recent dining experience at Aroma, a Michelin-starred restaurant overlooking the Roman Colosseum, was a mix of highs and lows. As I settled into my seat, the breathtaking view before me promised an unforgettable evening ahead. The meal kicked off on a high note with a coursed menu that showcased the kitchen's creativity and skill. Each dish was a testament to the chef's artistry, with flavors that danced on my palate and presentations that were truly Instagram-worthy. However, as the night wore on, I couldn't help but feel a twinge of disappointment. While the initial courses dazzled, subsequent dishes failed to maintain the same level of excitement. The flavors became somewhat lackluster, and the presentation stayed on the same note. The journey felt flat. Adding to the mix was the service, which, I must say, left something to be desired. There was a hint of judgment in the air, as if my every move was being scrutinized rather than celebrated. Now, don't get me wrong – the view of the Colosseum alone was worth the visit. But when you're dining at a Michelin-starred restaurant, you expect nothing short of perfection. And sadly, my experience fell short of that mark. As a first-time diner at a Michelin restaurant, I had hoped for an unforgettable culinary journey. While Aroma certainly had its moments, it ultimately left me wishing for more.

Whether it’s the view, the setting, the service, the wine or the diverse/rich/expertly crafted/super tasty food, Aroma hits the mark. One would expect that of a Michelin 1*, but that’s not always the case and so Aroma is a definite foodie standout and well worth the money! The risotto and beef carpaccio were definite standouts, as was the grilled veal and the creative desserts.
