Five people truly satisfied with both the wonderful meat and the desserts We took 3 large cuts with pachino rocket and parmesan... very tender meat and cooked very well Then the other two had two fillets always grilled and always tender and cooked well For desserts we chose 4 very good tiramisu su and one zuccotto The staff is very polite and so is the manager Very clean and honest prices We will be back to report

17/03/2026: It was very good and delicious. Coke and pasta cost 17 euros. I think that's quite a reasonable price for this area. They even included a bowl of cheese. I've had better carbonara before, but this was good too. The staff was helpful. They served in English. I'd go again 😊

20/02/2026: After searching Google for a restaurant near Fiumicino, we noticed that many places had high ratings, but recent reviews often said the food didn’t live up to the score. That made us a bit hesitant to try anywhere in the area. We eventually decided on Restaurant Concorde since it was close to our Airbnb and we’re glad we did. We ordered the Cacio e Pepe, Fettuccine Ragù, and Carciofo Romano. The menu is simple, featuring classic Italian dishes, but everything was well executed. The food was surprisingly delicious. While it wasn’t anything overly extravagant, it represented exactly what a good, standard Italian meal should taste like flavorful, comforting, and satisfying. The food came out fairly quickly, and the portion sizes were generous. The prices are slightly higher (about €5 more per dish) compared to restaurants not attached to a hotel, but it didn’t feel overpriced considering the quality and portion sizes. The restaurant itself was very clean, and the staff were prompt and polite. When it came time to pay, I wanted to leave an additional tip. Since I paid by card, I was told it couldn’t be added afterward, but the server instead kindly asked that I leave a review which is exactly what you’re reading now. Overall, a solid and reliable choice near Fiumicino

19/01/2026: Inside the Best Western hotel. We were well treated by the staff, Mr. Giulio and Mr. Giuseppe. We ordered a meat dish and a fish dish. Both were wonderful. Flavor, seasoning, doneness... everything was very good. The restaurant has a 4.2 rating on Google, which is actually a 4.9. It's worth it if you're in the area.

04/03/2026: Fascinating restaurant in the back of a wine bar with partially open kitchen (can view final prep) and with seating at common u-shaped bar tables (but deep enough for some privacy). The food was creative and well-prepared. The wine equally esoteric and delicious.

03/03/2026: I went to lunch at this restaurant on the recommendation of friends, intrigued primarily by their interesting research into the world of wine, which had been described to me as one of the restaurant's strengths. For this reason, I asked the staff if they had any wines "off the list," considering that the wine list explicitly states "don't hesitate to ask if you have any requests," as there's much more than what's listed. I therefore expected expertise and the ability to guide me in my choice. Unfortunately, the staff proved completely unprepared: not only were they not offered a valid alternative, but I sensed uncertainty and a lack of knowledge. Considering that wine research should be a distinctive feature of the restaurant, it was a significant disappointment. The food also didn't live up to expectations. I ordered two dishes that turned out to be mediocre: nothing that distinguished the offering from the average. I'm sorry to write this review, because the promise was very promising. I hope the restaurant can improve so as to truly realize the potential it seems to have, at least on paper.

22/02/2026: I unfortunately didn't get to go to Baja. I booked for Aperitivo for a group of friends for my 50th birthday and due to the weather it was closed. However, I wanted to say that the planning was so easy, the staff were friendly, the food sounded great! I am so sorry I didn't get to go, but if you're in Rome and they are open then I'm sure they will make sure you have a good time. ♥️

16/11/2025: Welcoming atmosphere, the owner was really kind and gave us good advice. The place is quiet, the bathroom is always spotless (not to be underestimated), and there's a wide selection of sandwiches. Highly recommended.

01/10/2025: A friend of mine introduced me to it, and I've been back three different times...what can I say...amazing craft beers, delicious sandwiches and burgers, prepared with care! But the real added value is the guy who runs it! 5 well-deserved stars!

25/02/2026: When you're completely exhausted... you stumble upon this restaurant full of locals, not tourists. The food is delicious. If I had to find a fault, the lasagna portion is small for the price. But everything else is fantastic!

25/02/2026: I happened upon La Pilotta when I made my first trip to Rome in 2010. It was an experience to remember, not just for the fantastic food but for the charming and joyful experience overall. We returned in 2018 with our family for an amazing Easter meal. Our most recent visit was February 2026. We arrived toward the end of the lunch rush when the place had just a few customers and the owner, Mario, was working at a calculator in the middle of the dining room. We ended up in conversation with him before a delicious meal — pasta all'amatriciana for me and pasta alla carbonara for my husband (when in Rome...). Before leaving, I happened to notice that hanging on the wall was the Rome travel piece I'd written for our upstate New York daily newspaper, the Times Union, in 2010. How it found its way to La Pilotta I'll never know, but I was overcome with joy and had to pose with Mario. This is a great spot, just outside the Vatican walls, great food, including delicious homemade pastas, comfy vibe, good prices. Stop by, and tell Mario I said hello.

21/02/2026: We arrived to a place that was already packed. It's a Saturday night, and luckily we had reservations. They seated us right away and gave us time to look at the menu, which was concise and clear—and appetizing, I might add. The food was delicious, the service a little slow, but considering the place had a bar counter and there was a game on... understandable. Honorable mention goes to the waiters. I only saw three of them running around non-stop all evening, and one barmaid, who was also fantastic, worked with them to make the bar run smoothly. Aside from a few mix-ups during dessert, everything was fine. I'll definitely be back!
