19/12/2025: You used to feel good, but today you do. It took me three days to digest the meatballs. The cacio e pepe ones were inedible. Cacio e pepe was just the name, the sauce was yellow and the taste was sour. Bad, bad. Overpriced.

25/03/2026: stumbled upon this restaurant near our hotel and decided to try! simple yet perfectly cooked authentic italian dishes, and we were the only customers who were non-italian. they have a menu translated to a few other languages which was helpful! would recommend the lasagne and pork chop (perfect cook on the meat - tender, not overcooked/dry)

03/05/2026: A beautiful location surrounded by nature, the food is delicious. We had the mixed antipasto and the grilled salmon with artichokes. I highly recommend it. The staff is friendly and helpful, especially Riccardo, who was very knowledgeable and recommended excellent dishes. Definitely worth repeating.

11/04/2026: A really nice place for an aperitivo, an intimate dinner, or even a party! Friendly staff and fast service. As for the food, I personally enjoyed the dinner menu more than the aperitivo option. Good wines and cocktails.

01/05/2026: A tea room in perfect English style, with furnishings and cups reminiscent of London's most iconic tea rooms. Recommended for a proper afternoon tea. The owners are exquisitely courteous.

18/04/2026: We found a foreign object in the pasta. The restaurant only agreed not to charge for that dish after we insisted on it; this was not something they offered themselves. This was from the Mushroom pasta dish.

02/04/2026: The quality of the food is beyond question; situated in the heart of Trastevere, it is an oasis of tranquility; the price level is high, but still offers good value for money. The chef stops by for the obligatory small talk but shows no genuine attention or interest in the customer. So, that can be omitted. The service is experienced but tip-driven. We ate the set menu with wine pairings. We enjoyed the dishes; each one is memorable. The other guests were also tourists; that is the business model. This restaurant is highly recommended.

17/03/2026: Perfect dinner! They gave us the option of choosing two different tasting menus (which isn't usually possible), allowing us to sample almost every dish on the menu. The vegetarian menu was top-notch, not a compromise for those who don't eat meat or fish. I dream about the spaghetti with roasted garlic and truffle cream! I was worried it would be a "difficult" cuisine, too complex to appreciate even for less experienced palates, but instead it was a great discovery. Last but not least, you can tell the management is female, thanks to the many small but precious details that made me appreciate this experience even more. Thank you! Try it, you won't regret it.

05/04/2026: Stopped by Sciarra Ristorante Pizzeria after a long day walking around, and it turned out to be a really good choice. The location is super convenient, especially if you’re visiting the nearby attractions. The place has a relaxed, casual vibe, nothing fancy but comfortable. The pizza was very tasty with a nice thin crust, and the pasta was fresh and full of flavor. Service was friendly and quick, even though it was quite busy. Prices are reasonable for the area, which is always a plus in Rome. Overall, a solid spot if you’re looking for good food without overcomplicating things. Would definitely come back.

15/04/2026: We had a great experience at Ristorante Pizzeria La Famiglia. We made a reservation ahead of time, which I’d definitely recommend—it was busy and clearly a popular spot. The food was really, really good. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and exactly what you hope for when eating in Rome. It’s one of those places where nothing disappoints and you just enjoy the whole meal. Service was also solid—friendly and efficient, even with how packed it was. The only small downside is how tight the seating is. Once you’re seated, you’re kind of in—there’s very little space between tables, and getting up isn’t really an option if the surrounding tables are occupied. It didn’t ruin the experience, but it’s definitely something to be aware of. Overall though, such a great spot and absolutely worth going. Would happily go back!

03/05/2026: The place is very nice, decorated like an old train station, but the food is disgusting. I had the swordfish mezze maniche: overcooked pasta that stuck to the plate, three styrofoam pieces of fish, and three cherry tomato halves. Never again.

10/04/2026: We went for lunch on the recommendation of some relatives. Excellent restaurant located in a truly beautiful neighborhood of Rome. Very helpful, kind, and friendly staff. Excellent supplì and amatriciana. Prices are absolutely reasonable. The IPA beers and Lazio wine are also recommended.

08/04/2026: The amatriciana pizza is top-notch, but above all, it's made with Neapolitan-style dough that's easy to digest. The Rissa beer is excellent.

30/04/2026: Intelectual café with funny family serving tables, preparing cakes etc. Mother and son are the funiest people in Trionfale!

15/04/2026: Finally, with dear friends, we managed to cross the threshold of this bistro, wine bar, tea room...and more! The entrance is a bit off the beaten path from Via Andrea Doria: there's a long corridor/display, with teas and teapots, sweets, and products for sale. The interior is a surprise, even if it's named after it... Vintage industrial furnishings, a blend of new and old, metal and weathered wood, leather seats in warm colors, every object makes you feel part of the place's story. A relaxed atmosphere, far from the urban routine, perfect for taking your time, with excellent cuisine and a vast selection of cakes, all accompanied by the friendliness and kindness of the staff (Giuseppe), who "spoiled" and pampered us. We'll be back... at tea time 😉

22/02/2026: Hands down the best dining experience I've had. We spent a solid 3 hours here, and every minute was worth it. The creativity and flavors completely surpass any restaurant I've been to, putting Shanghai's fine dining to shame.I've attached the menu for reference. Honestly, it's delicious enough to make me wish at the Trevi Fountain just for a chance to come back!
