05/07/2025: We had a great time! The food is excellent. The choice of dishes varies between different cuisines, in addition to Uzbek cuisine there are some dishes from Georgian, Ukrainian and Russian cuisine.
The service is excellent, the staff is very knowledgeable and they help you find the best option. In addition, once served, the dishes are introduced and explained briefly. Since it is a different cuisine, it is very pleasant to listen to this explanation and discover a completely new world. The place is clean and well-kept, very intimate and welcoming. We will definitely return to try the rest of the menu 🤍
23/06/2025: We had high expectations after reading that the ingredients were imported for authenticity, but unfortunately the plov was quite mediocre and overpriced. It was also disappointing to see pork dishes on the menu, given that the restaurant is presented as Uzbek

08/05/2025: Nice place, parking all around, the owner is very nice and the staff too, especially the girls, very cheerful. Abundant dishes at honest prices. Artichokes alla giudia... amatriciana... pasta alla gricia... all delicious.

17/04/2025: Abbiamo partecipato alla serata karaoke al giovedì sera.
Abbiamo cantato, abbiamo mangiato, ci siamo dissetati, ma quello che ci ha colpito è la simpatia e la capacità di intrattenere le persone di Sofia
Cameriera, barista e social person indiscutibile.
5 stelle meritatissime al locale grazie a lei.

12/04/2025: We were passing through, we ordered a cappuccino and a coke and asked if there were any empty croissants and a waitress told us that there was an empty one and two with jam and another named Giulia said that there was another empty one. When we get to the table to eat I notice that there was jam. Once we finished eating we went to pay at the cash register bringing the brioche with the jam and we told her it wasn't good but she didn't care. I give one star but they deserve worse for not being honest.

27/06/2025: The restaurant is very nice, the waiters are attentive and friendly, but when I arrived, my table for 5 people, as I had reserved, was not ready. The food was nothing special. We first ordered mussel soup with crostini, but the crostini was very burnt. The risotto had too much tomato paste, which completely covered the flavor. The rest of the dishes were between 2 and 3/5.
24/06/2025: Informal atmosphere, very kind and attentive staff, the portions are generous, we went there for dinner 4 nights in a row, Thursday and Friday there was very pleasant live music. We practically tried the entire fish menu and it was all really very good. Highly recommended.

But ough, that spot outside is not very comfortable. It does not suit the quality of what the kitchen produces.

The location is five stars, or even more
The staff is kind and attentive just right, without being too pushy, but always present.
The sommelier was the person who fascinated me the most, passionate, competent, with a touch of lightness and a strong personality: compliments
Mise en Place light and elegant at the same time (the chairs are too low for the tables though)
Bread, focaccia and oil (of their own production) very good
The fish products are not of great value, apart from the caught sea bream, the rest, bonito, cuttlefish, white shrimp.. but this does not mean anything, in fact the bonito was the best dish...
The presentation of the dishes... Beautiful but not fantastic.
The cuisine
The famous Adriá olive, too thick but I really appreciated the inside.
The other small insignificant entrees
Good sea bream carpaccio: period. Instead, the Pernambuco with gin, brought in combination, was worthy of a wow
Bonito, as already said, perhaps the best dish or rather, it could not have been cooked better and also the combination was definitely spot on, the garlic mayonnaise, perfect consistency, balanced flavor, special dandelion.
Red mullet with ciupin... No wow... The ciupin combined with the red mullet was very pleasant, if tasted alone, it had a hint of sweetness too much.
The cuttlefish was nothing special, I would say delicate, but in reality it had little flavor and the sauce was too strong.
Worthy of note instead was the revisited buridda!! Great idea and also very good
The pasta: a good product, but here too no wow... Also because white shrimp are not really "pasta"
The cod with a flavor too strong
The rabbit... Alas, the rabbit!! Out of respect for the chef, I'll just say the rabbit, alas.
The cute and pleasant dessert and that's it.
In the context, it didn't live up to expectations.
But.... There's a but... Everything I tasted of vegetables was instead special, both as a product and as a chef and I think I would have been much more satisfied if I had chosen the garden menu, and if I were to return I would definitely choose that one..
I gave three stars to the cuisine, not because it is an absolute three star, but evaluating as always the whole context
I'm almost sure that with the other menu my vote would have been higher...

18/09/2024: I have to give only one star because the restaurant is closed and no one bothered to update this status on Google, which instead always reports it as open. I went the other evening, they kindly pointed out to me that they didn't serve dinner, and while I was eating at the nearby restaurant, which was excellent and provided extremely kind treatment, I had to attend a private dinner right at the Baretto. Maybe we should be a little more clear with customers, because being bounced elsewhere with a few words crossed and then attending a private banquet, which is also very noisy, is not the best. Sin.

The spaghetti with violet shrimp and bottarga was and is perhaps one of the best pasta dishes I've ever enjoyed. Delicious croaker (think sea bass), tempura seafood, and tuna tartare.
Highly recommended.

Large room, very comfortable and clean.
Excellent menu, well proportioned to the price.
Having to look for a negative side, I consider the lack of a designated parking space (even for a fee) to be the only shortcoming of this hotel.
In the summer period, finding a parking space in Loano is always very problematic and stressful.

03/07/2025: Blehhh....stopped by for a couple of beers and light luch as we had just arrived at the town . Great location next to the beach, terrible food. I ordered a shrimp salad and baby calamari. Being a seacoast town, i was expecting the seafood flavor to burst out....there was not fizzle. The shrimp salad was bland, iceberg lettuce, shrimp, grape tomatoes, cucumbers plus the local dressing....no offense but it seemed like mayo. The fried baby calari lacked taste and seemed like the oil it was cooked in was a wee bit too old, reused....pkus my order had someones hair in it. Just my luck, one of my previous European cities we visited had fruit flies on my drink, go figure.

15/06/2025: Terrible experience the cold tasting appetizer (4) miserable, tasteless and very anemic. The pinsa (only 2 luckily) passed for homemade, were for me frozen without taste poorly seasoned and very expensive. The place is nice (only that) but without air conditioning it was cracked, a miserable ceiling fan would have made the difference. We paid €130 for 4, a rip-off. We left the place hungry. I do not recommend

02/07/2025: This is already the second summer in a row that we have been regular guests of the Lido Tropicana beach during our summer vacation in Taormina.
A perfect and very pleasant place for RELAXATION and SWIMMING FUN!
One of the few private beaches around Taormina where everything is superbly organized and therefore works perfectly.
The staff is very friendly and welcoming, and the beachfront restaurant is highly recommended: great value for money.
We are already looking forward to seeing you again in summer 2020. 😃 Thank you so much for everything!!!
This is already the second year in a row that we had the great luck to be regular guests of the Lido Tropicana again during our vacation in Taormina, Sicily. The beach is a perfect place for a great leisure time and swimming bliss. It's one of the few private beaches surrounding Taormina where everything is perfectly organized and allows everyone to just relax and have a fabulous time by the sea. The staff is very friendly and kind, and their own restaurant is sensational! We are already looking forward to our next year's trip! 😃 Thanks for everything!!!

21/05/2025: Strategic location, clean hotel, Bell, appearance, the only flaw is the scaffolding for the renovation of the facade. Comfortable rooms, even in the economy version, pity that the windows are on the back of the restaurant and from there come odors and noises. Stellar breakfast, with a unique view of the Pompeii excavations. Super
