18/12/2025: One of the best pizzas I've ever eaten. And the owner is very kind.

03/11/2025: There was a long wait, and luckily it was just us and a couple of people who had taken a couple of take-away pizzas. The situation was a bit surreal and comical. The lady, I think the owner, told us not to take too many different orders, in short, she took almost all the orders. The waitress was very sweet, but a smile every now and then wouldn't hurt. Overall, the food was good and the prices were excellent.

30/11/2025: The terrace has potential. The place is poorly managed, with a very long wait and rude, sloppy staff. We asked for coffee at 5:00 PM, but it wasn't possible because the machine was turned off. When we asked for a creamy coffee, we were told they didn't have any. We were served ice cream without a container for the paper, and we were given a small bottle of water without a glass.

15/09/2025: A decidedly negative experience, not to be repeated... Very slow and disorganized service, dirty place with cobwebs on the chandeliers. The pizza arrived like a rubber, and the toppings weren't the best. It's a shame that a historic and conveniently located place has fallen into such a state...

14/09/2025: Terrible experience. We booked a table for 9:15 PM on Saturday, and they seated us almost immediately. The waiter was friendly and polite, and asked if we'd like some water. First, though, we'll have to reconsider. (I should point out that my girlfriend is six months pregnant.) The order was taken at 9:40 PM. We opted for two pizzas because they looked inviting (1 Margherita with fries and 1 marinara with buffalo mozzarella and sausage), a Coke, and I opted for a medium beer from the menu. They told me the beer I'd chosen wasn't available, so I opted for a regular lager, and that's fine. They bring us drinks and then disappear, until 10:30 PM, when the waitress arrives and tells us she has no more fries and that they're making pizzas now. I point out that it's already been 45 minutes and that we've been waiting for two pizzas with the place half empty and most of the customers already served. She apologizes, cutting it short. And then I feel guilty. After 5 minutes (a 50-minute wait), the pizzas arrive, and mine was even partly burned. I ate because I was hungry; I didn't want to starve and leave my girlfriend without food at 10:40 PM. As soon as I finished, I paid and left without a fuss. To conclude, they didn't adequately apologize for the inconvenience caused, especially considering the presence of a pregnant woman. It's a shame because the pizza was also good. I STRONGLY advise against it.

03/03/2026: A nightmare experience from start to finish. The kitchen design was flawed, the IKEA technician took the wrong measurements, and the wall certification was incorrect. This management process caused me enormous inconvenience, especially financially. I live in Australia and went to the office in person to place the order. I booked the measurement service and completed the payment after developing the design online with several professionals. Booking the online appointments was easy, but unfortunately, the professionals didn't show up for the online meetings three times, leaving me waiting without any consideration for the time difference. They work when it's midnight in Australia. The kitchen design turned out to be flawed. I specifically scheduled my return to Italy to coincide with the assembly. The AF group fitters, once they arrived, immediately highlighted significant errors: parts and doors were missing, and some measurements were completely incorrect. From there, a real ordeal began. After three weeks, the involvement of two architects, and several emails with detailed certifications of the wall (including drawings, measurements, and technical specifications), they still refuse to install a small kitchen with an electric hob, a hood, and two strips that are still resting on the floor. I paid for a service that should have guaranteed professionalism and peace of mind, but instead it only caused me stress, wasted time, and additional expenses, considering that I returned to Italy solely for the installation of a two-meter kitchen, with only a single hood and no cabinets. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Spend a little more and trust someone who truly knows how to do this job. P.S. The wall is stone covered with 5cm EPS. Therefore, it's easy to install. I don't think the AF group knows how to do it.

21/02/2026: Fantastic! Everything is there. There's a fantastic free children's play area with adult supervision.

02/11/2025: The wait was exhausting even though there were five tables having lunch, but a Chinese restaurant run by Indians made me understand why the four rice dishes we ordered, even though they had different seasonings, almost all tasted the same. The thing that bothered me most was that the first courses were salty, really salty, and when my wife pointed this out, laughing, he replied: "Madam, we do it to get people to drink more, and if you really don't like it, you can pay and leave," and so we did. I don't recommend it to anyone; it would have been much better to get a piadina at the place next door, terrible, terrible, and still terrible. But if you want to drink all afternoon or all night, I recommend it 😂😂😂

30/10/2025: We ordered grilled ravioli which seemed dry and reheated, edamame sushi was good, the fish didn't smell good and the soy noodles with shrimp were bland and had few vegetables and 4 pieces of shrimp.

14/04/2025: Siamo stati consigliati a cenare in questo locale da amici del posto e anche dall'impiegato dell'hotel (dite che vi ho mandato io!!!) ma le aspettative sono andate totalmente deluse sotto tanti punti di vista. Il locale si presenta bene, poco distante dal faro di Punta Penna, con una ampia vetrata sul porto di Vasto (la sera c'è completamente buio e non si vede nulla, ma di giorno sarà senz'altro piacevole alla vista). Bello l'arredamento, pulito e in stile marinaro, col bianco e blu che la fanno da padroni. Le note negative arrivano con il servizio e la cucina. Partiamo dal servizio: acqua che arriva tardi e va richiesta più volte, pane uguale, prima dell'antipasto viene richiesto il piattino per poter assaggiare l'olio (buono!) col pane. Passano i minuti e su 8 commensali viene portato UN solo piattino che facciamo passare tutti e assaggiamo il buon olio col pane! Alla domanda: perchè solo uno? La risposta è stata: tanto gli antipasti sono pronti! Ma il fine cena è stato ancora più esilarante, quando vengono chiesti 2 bicchieri di Chartreuse, il liquore d'erbe. Il cameriere chiede se "il RUM" lo vogliamo col ghiaccio o senza! Passiamo alla cucina con un solo esempio ma rivelatore: le linguine ai ricci hanno il sapore solo di limone. Peccato! Conto corretto ma la cena non è stata soddisfacente!

29/12/2025: Terrible experience. We were a group, and the dishes never arrived completely. The sushi pieces were too large and full of rice. The fish was decent, and the udon and fried foods were generally good. It's a shame about the location, which was nice. However, the service was poor, and overall the sushi wasn't good enough. I don't think I'll be back.

23/11/2025: A very positive experience at Oso Sushi in Lanciano. The place is definitely welcoming and well-kept, but the staff isn't exactly friendly, except for the cashier. Quality sushi: fresh fish, balanced flavors, and excellent presentation. Varied menu with interesting options. Very good sushi in the area, I'll gladly return! 🍣✨

17/12/2025: After the change of management, the pizza in particular has gotten much worse. What should be mozzarella remains liquid even after it has cooled. At the bar in the morning, only one person serving creates very long lines and often has to leave because it takes too long.

16/12/2025: Pizza al pala is very good when it's not burned. It depends on the oven; the crust can burn when reheated. Lately, I've noticed a shortage of staff. It's not normal for just one person to knead the dough and bake, serve customers, and even clear the trays of rude customers. Staff are disrespected in these cases, which risks not fully satisfying customers. Even the best employees risk becoming exhausted and working less peacefully.

09/01/2026: Great place for lunch. Delicious traditional dishes (just like grandma used to make) and friendly, attentive staff who always try to fit you in even if there's limited seating and you book last minute. Thank you 😃🙏🏻

05/08/2025: We were charged for a full day for an umbrella and 2 deck chairs, when in fact we only stayed for 2 hours, because in the meantime the deluge arrived.

28/12/2025: A disappointing experience in every way. I waited forever for the aperitif, which turned out to be of extremely low quality and truly sloppy. The service was slow and inattentive, while the music was so loud it made any conversation impossible. The atmosphere was chaotic and unwelcoming. Overall, a frustrating experience and absolutely not recommended.

17/08/2025: Nice bar on the Vasto square. Large terrace, the waitress was pleasant. Reasonably priced. I recommend it.
