12/09/2025: Authentic trattoria, where we ate AMAZING arrosticini! Also excellent were the cacio e ovo balls, the ravioli with ventricina, the cured meats and cheeses appetizer, and the pasta with lamb sauce. Very friendly staff, excellent prices. Children's playground, large garden, outdoor seating, and an indoor dining room.

05/10/2025: The time you're wasting reading these reviews would be smart to use to rush out and try the pizza they make in this bakery. But, if you really want a review, here's the answer: AMAZING! Better than most, if not all, pizzerias in Lanciano, but enough now, otherwise I'll always find a line.

27/04/2026: We stopped at this restaurant for lunch on Sunday. We were greeted in a friendly manner and ate Abruzzese food. Delicious. Fair prices.

21/04/2026: This was the best restaurant that we had the pleasure to eat at when visiting the Casoli area on a trip from the U.S. The owner was very accommodating to my vegetarian needs. The food was AMAZING!!!! I forgot to take a picture of our first pasta course but mine was pasta with a pesto sauce and it was so fresh and so tasty. Second course, she made me grilled mozzarella with fresh veggies, the best potatoes I’ve ever tasted in my life, and salad. Then for dessert I had the tiramisu. Although she appreciated our attempts at speaking Italian, she spoke English as well, and we had a wonderful conversation. She is very down to earth and sweet. If you are looking for delicious fresh food, definitely go here!!!

24/08/2025: These 5 stars are for the kindness and friendliness of the owner. Even though I hadn't rented a bike from them, I asked him for help with a flat tire (I didn't know how to get home), and he offered to help, even getting his hands dirty! Friendly people exist. Thank you, see you soon.

The restaurant enjoys a spectacular location: lunch (or dinner) overlooking the blue Adriatic Sea offers a sense of peace and wonder that, alone, is worth the trip. But the real journey begins when the dishes arrive at the table. 🐟 The Sea on the Plate I opted for a menu featuring only seafood and was absolutely blown away. The ingredients are incredibly fresh, carefully selected, and cooked to perfection. Each course is a perfect balance between the authentic flavor of seafood tradition and a touch of elegant modernity. From appetizers to main courses, you can sense the love and passion the chef puts into cooking. What made the evening truly perfect, however, was the service. In particular, I want to offer a special thanks to waiter Ruggero. His professionalism, kindness, and smile made all the difference. He guided us through our selection of dishes with great expertise and a friendly, yet never intrusive approach, making us feel pampered from start to finish. A true asset for this restaurant! FINAL VERDICT: A fabulous location, sublime food, and a warm welcome. Excellent value. I will definitely return and recommend it to anyone passing through. A well-deserved five stars!

08/06/2026: I had the impression of eating a frozen pizza. The base was about 1-1.5 cm thick and too dry on the bottom, while the area under the toppings was too doughy. This was by far the worst pizza I've had in Italy.

02/06/2026: We went for lunch as a group of 8 and ordered 8 seafood spaghetti dishes to avoid long waits, 4 fried fish dishes, and 2 French fries. We were told the wait was for the first course to be cooked (we thought 10-15 minutes), but after an hour, still nothing. So, we asked how the dishes were going and they rudely told us they were cooking (without even checking in the kitchen). Then, asking if we had 8 risottos, we immediately said no, as we had all ordered spaghetti. After 10 minutes, they brought us the risottos, at which point we reiterated that we had spaghetti. After 15 minutes, they finally brought the first course back, and instead of spaghetti, we had egg chitarrine. We ate without saying anything because we were very hungry. They told us that the man had made a mistake in taking our orders with risottos instead of spaghetti, but we don't know why the chitarrine. The fried dishes went well, then the climax came at the cashier. We got to the cashier expecting a special treatment for the wait and the mistake, but instead🙈, the bill was 213 euros. We asked him, "Divided by 8, how much is that?" He told us 31, which makes 30. 213 divided by 8 is about 26. We naively didn't recalculate, we trusted the special treatment. To top it all, after more than an hour we ate what we hadn't ordered, plus a €5 surcharge. We were cuckolded and beaten.

02/06/2026: Unfortunately, it was a very negative experience. There were eight of us and we waited about an hour for our first courses. After all this time, we received risotto, when we had actually ordered spaghetti. We then waited another 10 minutes for the correct dish, which turned out to be egg chitarrine, not the spaghetti listed on the menu. We waited another 20 minutes for the fried food. When we received the bill, we mentioned both the long wait and the mistake in our order, but no one apologized adequately, nor did we receive any kind of thoughtfulness. In fact, when we checked the receipt, we realized we had paid about €4 per person more than the correct total. Our mistake for not checking immediately! It's a shame because the food was good, but the service was slow, disorganized, and rude.

01/05/2026: Discovered by chance, but a great place, especially excellent food, all truly 0 km (0 miles), or rather double 00. Friendly and helpful staff. We'll gladly return.
