19/07/2025: We came here after looking at the photos of the dishes posted, only to discover that the menu offered is very different and many dishes are pre-ordered. What we ate was good, but we were very disappointed.

19/08/2025: The ladies in the dining room were perhaps the only positive thing: friendly and kind, but very busy due to the full dining room, so the wait was understandable. As for the food, we ordered lamb that had already been seasoned with raw, rancid olive oil and lemon. The bad oil completely ruined the flavor of the meat, which is a shame because it looked delicious. The side dish of broccoli rabe was very good, while the tagliatelle with mushrooms was perfectly average.

04/09/2025: Only one thing speaks for itself: awful! Pan-fried anchovies with garlic, oil, and vinegar were actually boiled and lacking in character. For personal reasons, I can't eat tomato seeds and peels. The table service staff, without even checking with the kitchen, assured me they'd used industrial-strength purée in the fish soup I'd chosen. When the dish arrived, it was very obvious they'd used peeled or fresh tomatoes (which might be better, but unfortunately, they're not for me). A thousand apologies, which I accept. A mix-up can happen. I switched to chitarrine bianche alla marinara: I received boiled pasta with flavorless, probably frozen, fish sprinkled on top. No creaming, but instead, there was a tiny bit of water at the bottom of the plate. Garlic, oil, and parsley were nonexistent. Something tasteless, made on the fly, and even poorly. Literally unpresentable. This job takes love and passion, regardless of whether you're a regular or occasional customer. The service was up to par with the food. It's a shame because the seaside restaurant is very nice, but the professionalism is something else!

24/07/2025: Just returned after 10 fabulous days. The hotel is very close to its private beach, and the food is superb. Special thanks to Francesco and all the staff for their care, especially as I had to follow a gluten-free and lactose-free diet. The lunches and dinners were top-notch. Thanks also to Roberta and Mimmo for their wonderful hospitality. Highly recommended, especially for the value.

26/07/2025: We stumbled upon the Ferrara Restaurant in Bucchianico by pure chance and were pleasantly surprised by the restaurant's charm and, of course, the quality of its strictly Abruzzese food. The manager, who was also very friendly and welcoming, recommended we try the tasting menu in the historic rooms, where we sampled the fantastic products of Abruzzo: delicious cheeses unknown to us and cured meats that melted in our mouths because they were so authentic. I particularly enjoyed the capocollo, the local prosciutto, the sausages, and the Abruzzese soppressata. The cheeses were excellent, as was the focaccia with lard and pork. We also enjoyed a type of parmesan made with buffalo milk. We didn't go any further because we were in a craving for food. The wine from the charming and well-stocked cellar was excellent. A wonderful surprise. Prices are reasonable for the quality of the food. Definitely worth a try.

10/07/2025: We've been to Marenostrum and can't say enough good things about it. The atmosphere is simple but very clean, with attention to detail and a welcoming atmosphere. What struck us most, however, was the kindness and attentiveness of the staff: on a chilly evening, since I didn't have a jacket with me, they offered me a new towel, still in its packaging, to wrap myself up in. A small but meaningful gesture that speaks volumes about their customer service. The cuisine is truly excellent, with fresh seafood dishes, well-cooked and served with care. A special mention goes to the fried anchovies, simply delicious! The prices are affordable, especially considering the quality of the ingredients and the service. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a genuine place, with good food and people who know how to welcome you with a smile. 08/08/2025: It was a very hot evening, so we chose this place because the tables were large and the choice between fish and pizza was enough to please everyone. We ended up ordering fish, but the fish was self-service: we got risotto reheated in the microwave and fried in stale oil. The result: everyone who ate the risotto was horribly disappointed.

06/08/2025: The staff is highly incompetent in the restaurant business. They panic when they're just preparing a few orders. The place could be used much better. It's a real shame to let it be managed by these incompetent people. Reasonable prices, poor quality food.

03/08/2025: Excellent place for breakfast Really good desserts, American style. Cakes of all kinds, even cakes without butter or milk. The place is very tidy, with both indoor and outdoor tables. A great place for breakfast with friends and a chat.

03/06/2025: We came from Padua for 1 weekend and we stopped at this beautiful trattoria to have dinner every night. The food is excellent, the atmosphere is fantastic because the owner is friendly and joking and makes you feel at ease. Very hospitable. If I pass by Santa Sofia again I will definitely stop here again
