20/08/2025: We went after reading these reviews. It's truly a mystery, our experience was horrendous. The wait was endless, the food was shameful, the quality and quantity ridiculous, and there's no menu, everything was just spoken. They only have a menu for the pizzeria, but they also serve meat and fish without menus or prices. When we got the bill at the cashier, we asked for the cost details and paid. Then, after leaving, we realized the total didn't match. Perhaps they treat tourists differently in August than they do with locals during the year. I can't find any other explanation for the positive reviews. If you're a tourist like us, I highly recommend you don't go.
29/07/2025: A very aptly named restaurant, it feels like you're eating with family. I discovered it by chance and it's been a regular dinner spot for my wife and I. Everything is authentic; I really enjoyed the pizza, which was very easy to digest. The prices are fair and affordable. I highly recommend it.

12/09/2025: We went to this place this evening. We first ordered Dippers, which were delicious. Then we ordered Metro pizza for two. Along with the pizza (which was very good), some croquettes arrived, which we assumed were part of the pizza. When it came time for the bill, I paid and left. Looking at the receipt, I see I paid €5 for the croquettes, which, again, I didn't order, but I assumed were part of the pizza. I'll never know if it was a mistake or not. I certainly can't accuse anyone of it, but my rating for this can't be high.

21/09/2025: I had a wonderful meal: the mussels with pepper was fabulous, the chitarra pasta with clams, the octopus salad, and the excellent wine! Everything was plentiful and reasonably priced. Reservations are a must; it's always busy. They don't offer table service, but that's certainly not a problem! Highly recommended!

The dessert and fruit buffet (instead of the sugared almonds) was remarkable and much appreciated.

03/08/2025: I often stop by on my walks to eat a good ice cream, the owners are friendly and courteous ☺️ I love the cream put on the cones and cups, the place was recently renovated and the ice cream shop is among the best in Chieti... I recommend it wholeheartedly

15/12/2025: We've only been here twice, but we had a great time and will definitely be back! The place is welcoming, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the selection of products is extensive. For ginseng enthusiasts like me, I recommend trying the red ginseng.

The food is excellent and well-prepared; authentic and genuine cuisine (you rediscover ancient flavors).
The price/quality ratio is all in favor of the customer (believe me).
My friends and I ate cod.
Enjoy this wonderful experience. I highly recommend it.

12/09/2025: Authentic trattoria, where we ate AMAZING arrosticini! Also excellent were the cacio e ovo balls, the ravioli with ventricina, the cured meats and cheeses appetizer, and the pasta with lamb sauce.
Very friendly staff, excellent prices.
Children's playground, large garden, outdoor seating, and an indoor dining room.

L'Ananasso is a mini cocktail and drinks corner located in a parking lot overlooking the Ionian Sea, equipped with plastic tables and chairs, for those with modest expectations.
The staff were friendly and quick; we enjoyed the cocktails, which were well-proportioned; there's no table service.
If I could offer a small serving of snacks or nuts with your drink!
