L'Olivastro In Pollutri

I was looking for a place with good meat; one of my guests only eats meat. I found this little place by chance online and trusted my instincts. I couldn't have made a better choice. Mr. Francesco's courtesy had already struck me over the phone; he was extremely helpful and kind. It was an excellent lunch: there wasn't a single thing wrong. Just a few tables, a checked tablecloth, like many years ago, and a calm, peaceful atmosphere. The appetizers were delicious; the pasta was excellent, both cooked and seasoned, but the meat was unrivaled; the aroma alone was inviting, perfectly cooked, exceptionally flavorful, and incredibly tender. Considering I had two "experts" at the table, and they appreciated everything (including Mr. Francesco's explanations of what we were eating), I will recommend Olivastro to anyone who asks me where to eat well. At the end, we also complimented Maria Concetta on her cooking. It's a shame we can only give it 5 stars; it deserves more. We'll definitely be back.
