11/06/2026: Feel at home in every sense... traditional quality food, super comfortable atmosphere, polite, attentive and dynamic staff... Piero, the owner, with his professionalism and attention to detail, manages to constantly evolve in every circumstance!
22/04/2026: This restaurant is very hidden; we went with a local friend. We ate excellent roast meats and drank good wine in a typical Abruzzo restaurant. The only downside was that when we paid the bill, we were charged four extra covers, seven extra desserts, and we discovered that if you order arrosticini, you automatically get bruschetta (€15) even if you didn't ask for it. Once we returned, we were refunded the extra money.

16/07/2026: A typical agriturismo. Sunday lunch features a set menu with two options. The menu features traditional Abruzzo cuisine. The quality of the dishes is quite good, with generous portions, but the service is very slow and the air conditioning is poorly functioning.

The cuisine was spectacular, with delicious and abundant dishes.

27/08/2025: Everything was excellent: the welcome, the food, the atmosphere, and the prices were fair considering you're dining with a sea view. For one person, I paid about 20-25 euros for water, a mixed salad, and mixed fried fish.

09/04/2026: This evening, my wife, my daughter, and I almost accidentally thought we'd find a classic trattoria serving regional dishes, but surprise! It was all cod, and what a cod! We let ourselves be guided by the chef's suggestions and the very kind waiter, who was an excellent narrator of the dishes, each one more delicious than the last.

03/11/2025: It wasn't the restaurant's best performance; I've already experienced better ones. The kindness and hospitality are undeniable. Specifically, the appetizers were good but with some imperfections, poor quality oil, the first course was inadequate: tacconi and chickpeas with cod with too much onion, linguine with cod with little seasoning and meaningless, and the second course was cod with a sauce that was unimpressive. The dessert was poor quality, with creams that weren't homemade and tasted industrial. It's a shame, because on other occasions the quality has been higher.

05/04/2026: It was my first time eating on a trabucco, and I hope to do it again soon, even though it won't be easy from Rome, because it was a unique experience. The setting was beautiful; eating with the sound of the sea accompanying you was relaxing. The dishes were all excellent and made with quality ingredients. I really appreciated the time between courses; it gave me the chance to appreciate the view and enjoy my meal without the stress of rushing between courses.
The staff was friendly and knowledgeable in explaining the dishes.

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, and it was a wonderful discovery.
The dinner was a succession of wonderful surprises: we started with a fabulous mussel sauté, followed by an exquisite cod and potato combination, and a spectacular, dry, and incredibly fresh fried calamari. The first courses left us speechless: both the chitarra pasta with clams and the seafood gnocchi were simply exceptional!
Topping it all off, the exquisite staff made us feel welcomed from start to finish.
If you're in Vasto or just passing through, you absolutely can't miss it. Highly recommended!
29/07/2026: While exploring the city, three of us stopped for dinner. We all found the food perfect and plentiful. We ordered mussels with pepper, octopus and potato salad, and a fried fish dish—all delicious.
The man who cooked and served was excellent, kind, and absolutely on point. Excellent experience.

22/04/2026: After years of closure, Fictio is back.
It's definitely no longer the venue managed by Max, where the live music lineup was top-notch, but I hope the new management of the cooperative can bring it back to its former glory.
A youthful and relaxed management team can certainly bring this venue and the upper Chieti area back to a more vibrant social life after years of nothingness.
14/03/2026: A delicious dinner and a concert by a talented singer from Chieti. Very friendly staff. A charming venue.
