After years of closure, Fictio is back. It's definitely no longer the venue managed by Max, where the live music lineup was top-notch, but I hope the new management of the cooperative can bring it back to its former glory. A youthful and relaxed management team can certainly bring this venue and the upper Chieti area back to a more vibrant social life after years of nothingness.

03/05/2026: Excellent seafood! Although the initial aesthetic is a bit shabby (there's even no legible sign outside), we were thrilled with the quality of the food. Fresh fish and generous portions, served with a smile by the owner, a truly delightful person. The only downside is the restrooms and some other details that could use some updating. It's worth a visit for the good food, hoping for a future renovation.
