16/10/2025: Super wonderful, beautiful 1st wedding anniversary. Kind and above all competent. Well done everyone, excellent chef.

07/10/2025: The renovated Trabocco has lost some of its originality, but it's still pleasant. The set menu includes two appetizers with mini portions of gourmet dishes and two small plates to share, all very good. A generous first course, a standard second course, and a small fried fish to share. Dessert and coffee, drinks à la carte. The price is a bit high compared to regular restaurants, but it's worth it for the view and the character—let's say it's also a bit of a trend at the moment. I recommend not taking advantage of the moment too much, because then the gravy train will end. Also, eating the raw materials right where they exist, let's say 0 km, should cost less. Furthermore, you choose the menu based on the season and the catch of the day. Procurement is not that complicated, so what would be the reason for the high price? I'm not just talking about you guys, who obviously adjusted their prices to the other Trabocchi, some even worse. All in all, a great experience.

02/02/2026: Delicious pizzas, even better desserts. All the products on the extensive counter are perfectly paired and reflect our local culture. The owner explained every single item we ordered. There's so much to choose from, and once you're inside, you'll want to take everything home. It's truly a wonder oven! Highly recommended!

13/01/2026: The place is a bit remote, but the setting is truly beautiful. There are animals, stables, and children's rides. The food is good, with quality ham and unusual gnocchi. I'll be back.

07/10/2025: August 2025 We visited The Green Shark for the first time, as it’s local to us. The outside seating area is lovely and creates a really nice atmosphere. Unfortunately, our experience with the service let it down. I ordered a mojito and, after a few sips, found a piece of glass in my mouth. The waiter did apologise and replaced the drink, but the replacement wasn’t great – very strong, with no sugar, and when we asked for soda water they brought tonic instead. We then asked a waitress for sugar to fix the drink, but after 10 minutes she hadn’t come back. When we asked again, she said they only had white sugar. We told her not to worry, as we no longer wanted the drink, and to bring us the bill. Five minutes later another new drink was brought out, unfortunately we didn't drink it as we were ready to leave. The food itself was ok, and the venue really is lovely, but the service unfortunately wasn’t at the same level. Such a shame, as its a great spot. It could have been worse – I could have spent the night in a hospital had I not noticed the glass.

29/12/2025: An absolutely shameful head waiter. The attitude of the head waiter at this restaurant (a very beautiful restaurant, by the way) is absolutely shameful and dishonest! This gentleman started by trying to serve us a basic Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, claiming it was a Speck (from the same winery)! And since we know this winery very well, we pointed out that it wasn't the same wine, but he continued to insist (several times!). Despite his misleading insistence, we decided to change and order a Testarossa di Passetti, which this same head waiter charged us 40 euros for instead of the 35 euros listed on the menu (!) To help the head waiter improve his knowledge, I've included some photos of the wines. Not to mention that the meat arrived well before the fries and, more importantly, before we had finished our appetizer... At that price... This restaurant should be avoided. There are much better and more honest options in the beautiful Chieti region!

21/12/2025: The restaurant is well-furnished and equipped, and the staff is well-trained to best advise customers on meat choices and wine pairings. The only thing that bothered me a little was the lack of a wine list, despite having explicitly requested it twice. The waiter insisted on offering a wine of his own choosing, which turned out to be an excellent choice, but sometimes customers want to see other options, especially the prices! The food was delicious. The arrosticini melted in the mouth, as did the 1.4kg Galician rubia steak.

07/04/2025: I stopped at this restaurant on the way home, choosing it randomly while we were on the move. A bit of a wait (which they made up for with amazing mussels). The staff were very friendly, the food was fresh and above average, and my dog ​​was welcome. No one in the family of five had any complaints. If I ever return to the area, I'll definitely make a point of trying their famous "brodetto." The price was fair for the quality. Luca R
