10/11/2025: My husband and I stayed one night, clean, tidy, welcoming and quiet. I have never slept so much. The owner was very kind.

03/11/2025: It wasn't the restaurant's best performance; I've already experienced better ones. The kindness and hospitality are undeniable. Specifically, the appetizers were good but with some imperfections, poor quality oil, the first course was inadequate: tacconi and chickpeas with cod with too much onion, linguine with cod with little seasoning and meaningless, and the second course was cod with a sauce that was unimpressive. The dessert was poor quality, with creams that weren't homemade and tasted industrial. It's a shame, because on other occasions the quality has been higher.

You won't find special effects or over-the-top displays, but something much rarer: consistency, quality, and respect for tradition. It's a place where gelato once again takes center stage, free from distractions. Maurizio's is proof that, when things are truly done well, they don't need to be overdone to be remembered. A place to keep close to your heart, for those who love real gelato.

09/04/2026: This evening, my wife, my daughter, and I almost accidentally thought we'd find a classic trattoria serving regional dishes, but surprise! It was all cod, and what a cod! We let ourselves be guided by the chef's suggestions and the very kind waiter, who was an excellent narrator of the dishes, each one more delicious than the last. Unmissable

11/11/2025: An unexpected discovery, recommended by local friends, a trattoria serving the freshest seafood, deliciously cooked according to Abruzzo tradition. The welcome and service were courteous and attentive. Cloth tablecloths and napkins were provided! The excellent Chieti wine was the icing on the cake! Reasonable prices. Highly recommended, we'll be back!

09/05/2026: A family-run hotel offering excellent value for money. Having been there for several years, I've found no flaws: the rooms, annex, and apartment offer every comfort; impeccable cleanliness. But the highlight is the cuisine, featuring traditional Abruzzo first and second courses (from the sea or the mountains) that have the flavor of good old-fashioned goodness. After a short stroll through the green Mediterranean scrub, a wide sandy beach opens up, where the umbrellas give the feeling of a small oasis. The location is strategic because it's just the right distance from the Marina di Vasto promenade (and its crowded beaches), making the water crystal clear. Canoes, pedal boats, beach service, and lifeguards are available. The perfect place to relax, take long walks along the shore, or simply laze under an umbrella. I forgot: Wi-Fi works everywhere, except on the beach; pets are welcome (for those who bring them). What more could you want from a vacation?

20/10/2025: The place is a bit dated. The food is excellent and well-prepared; authentic and genuine cuisine (you rediscover ancient flavors). The price/quality ratio is all in favor of the customer (believe me). My friends and I ate cod. Enjoy this wonderful experience. I highly recommend it. I'll be back for meat next time. I'll keep you updated.

05/04/2026: Generally, the products are really fresh and tasty. But the service is a total chaos!!! Waiters are always confused and mixing the orders. Also, payment is another chaos that you need to wait long time for someone to come to kasa and people are creating different queues that makes even longer waiting time.

01/02/2026: We're in San Salvo Marina for my husband's cycling race. We've been away for a while; they've renovated everything, creating a stunning waterfront; you have to see it to judge. Last night, we weren't sure where to go for pizza. We asked around, and at least three places were full for various events. So, we searched online and saw this place, "Movida." It's very nice and, above all, very welcoming. They were having karaoke night, and it was a real pleasure to spend the evening here. We had fries, which were good but a little cold, while the pizzas were good. Excellent value for money.

21/03/2026: Local cuisine from Abruzzo region. Small builing which you might pass by without noticing, but worth a visit. Fresh and tasteful food, friendly owner, low prices. Just ask for a table, sit, and enjoy.

05/05/2026: Aside from the very fast service despite the Sunday crowds and the well-kept garden where you can eat, the rest is unfortunately bad, and seeing all the 5-star reviews confirms the fact that people don't know how to eat. The sandwich was practically empty and quite dry, but above all, calling something a smash burger that isn't even smashed (most likely an IQF-frozen burger, given its toughness even when cooked from frozen) is almost a scam. Chickenburger, a tasteless cutlet (but at least it didn't seem ultra-frozen either), practically impossible to find in a sandwich. Iceberg lettuce in all the sandwiches Tasteless plastic tomato No sauces delivered. 3 beers, 2 Cokes, 2 waters, 7 sandwiches, 1 chip and 1 pulled croquette (€10 considering that there are €18 sandwiches), total 120 pleurisy. Totally failed.
