Second visit to this restaurant and... It confirmed, if not surpassed, the positive impression of our previous visit. We ordered full menus at Zafferano and were thoroughly satisfied with both the quality of the dishes and the courtesy and attentiveness of the service. A special mention goes to the saffron cream.

Found it by chance with the idea of visiting Navelli... we went in close to lunchtime and were amazed by the hospitality, the atmosphere, and especially the quality of the food...from appetizers to dessert...thank you, thank you... Well done...keep it up!!!!! Excellent!!!...we'll definitely be back.

This restaurant is located just outside Navelli, found here on Maps. I must say the reviews reflect the overall quality.
The decor is rustic and elegant, very pleasant. The two of us had a saffron tasting menu, which was very good (except for the wafer accompanying dessert, which was a bit stale), and a lamb gratin, a bit heavy but tasty, accompanied by very good baked potatoes.
The dessert on the menu was so-so, but the chocolate cake was really good.
The service was friendly and efficient, and the bill was fair.
The young man who served us also recommended one of their suppliers for saffron, which we found very good.
This is definitely a restaurant worth considering if you're in the area.

A wonderful journey through four saffron-based dishes. We chose the tasting menu, and each course was better than the last, made with locally sourced products and incredibly delicious! Impeccable service and exceptional kindness. Go!

A delightful restaurant at the foot of the village of Navelli, where you can enjoy a wide range of dishes, both traditional and more modern, featuring saffron and more. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the place is very well-maintained and welcoming. I highly recommend it if you're in the area! ❤️❤️❤️

A traditional restaurant with excellent local dishes, especially saffron, in various variations (including in desserts). Traditional cuisine (fresh egg pasta, grilled meats, and stew).
A rustic yet refined location.
The owners are very kind and helpful.
I recommend it to everyone.

This is a hidden gem along State Road 17, a few kilometers from L'Aquila. Excellent cuisine and friendly, courteous, yet unobtrusive service. Daniele and Marco are excellent at making their guests feel at ease, offering everything they need and desire.
