05/08/2025: A little out of the way We tried the good pucce. Unfortunately, we had to stay inside because of the bad weather; the room isn't soundproofed, so there was a lot of reverberation. Maybe if we had stayed outside, it would have been better.

18/07/2025: We had a fantastic meal. We had the meat and cheese platter and the three fried appetizers. Absolutely delicious! Then we had the focaccia caprese and puccia entrecote. It was so delicious! We finished with a wonderful dessert. They had a great selection of wines.

07/08/2025: I ate here last night with my partner and the dogs, and I have to say everything was truly excellent, from the service to the food. I'd say the value for money was more than excellent, considering we ate an appetizer, two first courses, two second courses, and two desserts, plus white wine and water, for just €100. We were very satisfied, and if we were to return, we'd definitely stop at this simple yet warm and welcoming restaurant.

08/07/2025: La Piana del Sole is one of the most renowned restaurants in the Lanciano area, a must-visit for parties and events since I was a teenager. The service is impeccable and the food is excellent, especially their specialty pizza. The panoramic location offers beautiful views, and the staff even provides mosquito repellent, so you can dine in peace. Highly recommended, I'll definitely be back.

01/07/2025: Even though we booked and accepted a late time we had to wait more than an hour, if there are a lot of people you can't pass the problem on to the customers, let them know first and then I decide whether to accept the wait or not. The desire to eat goes away

The spaghetti alla chitarra with guanciale and saffron are particularly noteworthy, as is the saffron beer from a local brewery. It's best to choose a table inside to avoid being "smoked" by the adjacent outdoor grill.

22/07/2025: We arrived at the end of the day, greeted with courtesy and friendliness. We ordered arrosticini, and they recommended at least two to try. The pizzas were delicious, with fresh, authentic ingredients.

19/07/2025: Authentic Fresh Fish Trattoria.... Genuine flavors, menu options, attentive to the different requests of customers (to my daughter, knowing that she was allergic to shellfish, they brought without us having asked for it 3 appetizers made on the spot, including grilled tuna and seared calamari), abundant portions ... and really everything was good...

10/07/2025: A seafood restaurant with (a few) classic dishes cooked Pescara-style, meaning just a few fresh ingredients. Everything is delicious! I always order the risotto, my friend the seafood pasta, then we share the fried fish and sometimes a seafood salad... the portions aren't small, and the service is quick and efficient. The house wine is good; we usually order a pitcher of white or rosé. The ambiance is simple, but the tablecloths are cloth. There's an indoor dining room and an outdoor veranda overlooking the street. The restaurant is always very busy during the week, especially in winter. You can dine without a reservation, but on weekends, you need to book well in advance, at least 2-3 days in advance for both lunch and dinner, otherwise it's impossible to find a table, especially since they don't have shifts. Luckily, you just sit down and enjoy your meal! They also offer a set menu (with a choice of first course). The prices are good, the owners are fishermen, and luckily they've preserved the old-fashioned style: fresh fish, simply cooked, accessible to everyone. I love these places, they remind me of my childhood ❤️

11/07/2025: Avevo prenotato il pomeriggio di due giorni prima, lasciando nome e recapito telefonico, e mi arriva una telefonata da un cellulare quella stessa sera alle 22 ,40 ( ero a letto) ed una ragazza si qualifica come il ristorante e mi chiede conferma... Ciò premesso, la sera della prenotazione ci riservano un tavolo al piano superiore malgrado avessi fatto presente che mia moglie aveva problemi di deambulazione. Ma va bene... Chiedo di aprire la finestra o accendere il condizionatore perché quella sera faceva particolarmente caldo e la cameriera mi risponde: " eh, ma...a Roma fa molto più caldo. Il condizionatore cmq non può essere acceso." Resistiamo alla voglia di andare via ma, abbastanza irritati, ordiniamo solo delle pizze anziché ciò che avevamo in mente. Ceniamo, paghiamo ed andiamo via... Tutto qui. Esperienza come dire...particolare. A proposito, le pizze, a mio avviso, non erano un granché. Buona fortuna.

23/02/2025: Everything was simply excellent, from the service to the food and finally the price. We opted for the tasting menu with three starters, two first courses, one second course, pre-sweet and sweet. Different wines for each course, in accordance with the dishes. Knowledgeable, friendly and friendly owner. We are fully satisfied. We will certainly return.
