23/09/2025: The menu isn't very extensive, but the dishes are truly amazing! The prices are very reasonable.

28/09/2025: A particularly pleasant evening, a wonderful discovery. The place is welcoming, the staff simply splendid and very helpful, the food is high-quality, prepared with passion and skill. The appetizers range from simple dishes to true masterpieces with excellent flavors. The meats are truly special, with a good selection, such as: boneless rib-eye steak, Argentine Angus steak, sashi fillet, Norland sirloin steak, Irish rib-eye steak, tomahawk steak, scottadito (traditionally grilled lamb), and sashi beef. For wine lovers, there's an excellent selection of the best local wines. A little tip: absolutely try the rooster platter and the cheese and egg balls; they're two truly special appetizers.

19/09/2025: Wine doesn't have to be formal, and here, quality is the foundation. Matteo is a professional who knows how to advise well and has a wide range of wines. For example, I happened to be passing by, and on the wine list there's an Istrian Malvasia, a classic Apulian method pas dose, and a Pinot Noir from Languedoc. I challenge many to have such a selection. The cuisine, from finger food to traditional fare, pairs perfectly, giving a youthful touch to tradition and local produce. I always love coming back. No reservations required. Easy accessibility for the disabled. Indoor and outdoor seating available.

12/09/2025: We received a very warm welcome, the cocktails were excellent, and the mini beef tartare tacos for the starter were a real treat. We suggested the ravioli, which was good, but the quantity was really too small. We went to another restaurant for a burger because we were still hungry. It was a shame, because it was really good, and for €80 for two, it's a shame to leave after a starter and a main course each and still be hungry.

02/11/2025: Had lunch today, November 2, leaving the restaurant at 2:41 PM with a friend of mine. We ordered a "Majellerie of cured meats, cheeses, and hot dishes," an appetizer similar to this, adequate. We moved on to the first courses: Cazzarelli with mutton alla callara, not bad, ravioli stuffed with buffalo mozzarella stracciata with truffle, awful. Filled with what wasn't buffalo mozzarella but clearly fiordilatte melted at 110 degrees Celsius, soaked in oil and truffle from the tin. I complain to the same waitress who recommended them, but she doesn't do anything and justifies herself by saying, "That's what it says on the tin." Totally embarrassed. I move on to the comment about the oil soak, where she apologizes with a half-smile and leaves. Another young woman comes back and asks if everything was okay. I answer clearly no, only to be met with a laugh and then disappear. I get up to end this terrible experience and head to the register to pay, where I find the same waitress laughing in my face again, without even offering an apology, not so much for her behavior, which in itself deserved dismissal, but for the crap they served me. I've never left a review for a restaurant in my life; this is the first time I've done so and the last time I'll be there. They could have avoided this simply by behaving better; if a customer complains about a dish they don't like, whether you agree or not, you have to take it away, but above all, you shouldn't laugh in their face. An experience to forget.

04/11/2025: Passing through L'Aquila on our way back from our vacation in Puglia, we decided to visit this restaurant, inspired by the excellent reviews. I'll start by saying that I'm originally from L'Aquila, and when I'm here, I'm always on the lookout for great places to eat. Last night, we came with my brother's family and were greeted by kind and courteous waitstaff. Everything was magnificent, from the welcome, to the service, and finally, the food. We had two Pizzonze for an appetizer, followed by five first courses, a second course, and three desserts. Everything was delicious, carefully prepared, and beautifully served. We spent €120 in total, and I can say it was excellent value. At the end of the meal, they offered us coffee and amaro and a gift with some Abruzzo biscuits and a small bottle of genzana. Overall, the experience was magnificent, and we'll definitely be back when we're in L'Aquila at the end of August.

19/10/2025: A true delight for the palate, very competitively priced compared to other restaurants in the area, attentive, knowledgeable, and caring staff, and easy access to this green setting with fantastic views. We'll definitely be back.

08/06/2025: I was at this place yesterday, after I had heard about it because I have 2 celiac daughters, they make gluten-free pizza here. The place is nice, large, with a small parking lot outside. The normal pizza is good, with long-leavened dough, well-topped and cooked in a non-wood oven. You can improve on the gluten-free: we asked for margheritas with sausages and we were told that they don't have sausages (one of the children's favorite foods). We then asked for the addition of cooked ham on a pizza, with the supplement of 2 euros and 50 (for half a slice of ham)! The draft beer that was served to me wasn't great, while for the girls we asked for a Coke and we were served a similar one. For 3 pizzas, 2 of which were gluten-free (a normal capricciosa, a Margherita and a Margherita with cooked ham) 1 Coke, 1 still water and 2 small draft beers we received a bill of €51.50. Despite the high prices, I recommend it on regular pizza, but the gluten free ones aren't that great!
